This house sits on a beautiful stretch of beach and the pool was perfect for our 2-year old! The pool could only be accessed by 2 locked gates from outdoors and was very private. The beds were all very comfortable and we loved that the laundry area was centrally located to the bedrooms. We had an issue with one of the air conditioning units and the problem was resolved the same day. Over all this is a very nice home!

Wonderful vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have vacationed at CSB for many years and this year did not disappoint! Selah by the Sea was a really beautiful house. Lots of room to spread out. The splash pool was small for sure, but a nice spot to relax after a day in the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the triple decks were amazing for surf watching. Coastal Joe as always was a great property management group. Already picking dates for 2026!

8/10 Bra

It is a nice place, but a bit underwhelming for the cost. I messaged the host on the first day about the serious lack of towels, but got no response. The living room furniture was worn and stained. The swimming pool was tiny. The kitchen was seriously under stocked in glasses and silverware. The ice maker in fridge either did not work or was not turned on. The host did provide an ice maker, but someone had to be on ice duty full time to keep up with cold drinks for six people. We finally gave up on Thursday and bought ice. But the beds were quite comfortable and the decks were lovely with exquisite views! Another highlight was the quick service provided by Angel when we couldn’t unlock the door and reported dryer troubles. Yes, we were directly on the ocean, and yes, that isn’t cheap. But I’ve stayed in better appointed places on the ocean for less money.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family of 9 had the most amazing experience staying at “Selah By The Sea”!This home provides breathtaking views from all three decks. Extremely easy and quick access onto the beach. The elevator servicing all floors was hugely useful for luggage, groceries and the weak knees of a couple of our elderly family members. Heating and cooling are zoned which worked perfectly, huge hot water heater - 9 people showering, doing laundry & dishes and we never lacked hot water! I truly believe this home is located on the best section of the beach and Peninsula - sunrises and sunsets were outstanding. Perfect accommodations - beds, furniture, appliances, cookware, BBQ grills, everything was great and we can’t wait stay here again!

2022 Vacation

The house was exactly what we were looking for in size and location. We were really disappointed in the trash cans outside being full and not be able to use them until after trash pickup on Monday when we arrived Saturday. The pool was another disappointment. It was full of sand and not working. Pool company came and checked it and we were told they would come back to clean it out but never showed back up.

We value our guest feedback and appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. Trash pick up during the time that you stayed was on Monday's. We would have been happy to send someone down to take some of the bag of trash to our office dumpster until the trash service came on Monday. The pool company has recently been fired and the pool pump had to be replaced.

Incredible!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house! My parents went with us, so the elevator was a must. The pool was an excellent place to cool off, small but effective. The porches, wow, absolutely wonderful. Being so close to the beach was fantastic! Sitting on the porch felt like you were on the beach. The top porch was our favorite place at night. We got some beautiful pictures of the milkway over the ocean. The location on the cape is wonderful! The last step on the stairs to the beach drops down 2-3 feet and we reported to the Coastal Joe and they responded almost immediately that they would bring to attn of owner to address. In the meantime, we had kind neighbors that let my parents use their boardwalk to get to the beach. The house was great and very clean. Beds were all very comfortable. Kitchen is decently stocked.

Thanks so much for the great review! We're so happy you and your family enjoyed Selah by the Sea. Sounds like you made the most of the location too—those Milky Way photos from the top porch must have been incredible! We appreciate you letting us know about the beach stairs and are glad you got a quick response from our team. The owner has actually installed some new steps for an easier access to the beach. We have added some pictures to the website. Big thanks to the awesome neighbors for helping out too. Really happy to hear the house was clean, comfortable, and worked well for everyone. Hope to have you back again soon!

Just okay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: location is great and as of June 2025, the beach is wide. Pool is tiny but stayed nice and refreshing. Beds are comfortable. Cons: last step to the sand is about 24in down. Ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. Various lightbulbs out. Dishwasher door is about to fall off, cabinet with trashcans doesn't close, the kitchen wasn't clean. They delivered a new coffee maker because both were growing mold/mildew inside. The one upstairs is still nasty. Lots of mildew on doors and vents in upstairs bathrooms. A little love could make this place fantastic but it def needs some attention.
Svar från VrboOwner 4 sep. 2025

Perfect Place for February

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were fortunate to enjoy Selah by the Sea for the month of February. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is finished and furnished very nicely, even the sheets were of high quality. The deck furniture on each level was appreciated. This home is in a special location because you see primarily the dunes of Rish Park as you look north. The views from each floor are fantastic and sunset watching is a nightly must. The kitchen is very well stocked and it was so nice to have a water filter. There are many thoughtful touches such as games and puzzles provided in the tv cabinet. This was our first time renting a home on the Cape with an elevator. It was super helpful for moving in and groceries. The home was very clean on our arrival. We noticed a couple of minor items that needed attention such as loose towel hooks and some light bulbs that were out. Coastal Joe sent someone over the same day. The Coastal Joe staff are fantastic to work with. They are all very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Thank you to Mary, Holly, and Britney at Coastal Joe. We look forward to returning to Selah by the Sea next year.

Selah review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying at Selah. The location was great the house was good and we love Cape San Blas. Be aware that the beach is very narrow at this strecht of beach. A couple days there was no dry sand to set up on. I will say the den furniture is showing it's age and felt a little dirty. We had a couple of problems during the week. One was ants in the kitchen and the air conditioner on the 3rd floor wasn't cooling well. Coastal Joe responded quickly to both of these issues and took care of them.

Amazing Beach Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is amazing!!!! From the full service elevator to the comfortable beds!!!! My wife and I chose this property for its proximity and access to the beach. We loved being able to walk out the back gate and having access to the beautiful Gulf of America!!! The pool was extremely refreshing after spending a few hours in the sun on the beach just to cool off before going into the house. The gifted gear credit was a huge plus as we rented bikes and were able to ride down the road every morning for amazing breakfast sandwiches at the local ice cream stand. We are definitely coming back to Cape San Blas and would recommend for all of our family and friends to come as well.
