Upstairs bedroom with free standing tub with hand held shower. Lower level has kitchenette and living room with a pull out couch. Includes refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, outdoor grill with side burner. Outdoor shower. Connects by channel to all sports Donnell Lake.
Less than 30 miles from Notre Dame Stadium and 6 miles to Swiss Valley Ski Lodge.

Relaxing getaway

The house was perfect for my dog and I, just wanting to get away for a few days. Went kayaking and just sat out by the lake. Beautiful property and amazing bath tub!

Quiet time on the lake

My daughter and I needed some quiett time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was nice to cook out each night, spend some time on the lake and had coffee and fires down by the lake. The home was just perfect for two people.

Weekend trip

Fun getaway on the lake. With Kayaks, Paddle boat, and many other things included that made our stay memorable. Very clean and comfortable place.

Quiet, peaceful, and wonderful!!

Tammy and Sally were very nice and made certain our stay was pleasant. Would recommend to everyone of how nice they were and the lakeside cottage was comforting. Thank you very much for the nice getaway!

Relaxing little Cottage on the lake

The place was clean and organized. Tammy was an amazing host. Communication on point! The paddle boat and lily pad were fun to use. We will def be back for another mini girls trip. Thank you again!

Lewis Lake Guest House

We enjoyed our stay at Lewis Lake and that we could take our dog along! The hosts were easy to talk to and the house had all that you'd need. The house is a good location for activities in Northern Indiana or Lake Michigan. Lewis Lake was a quiet peaceful lake and the hosts had a paddle boat and kayaks we could use.

Wonderful time!

We went for a summer vacation and had everything we could have wanted at our fingertips, kayaks, paddle boat, lily pad, comfy chairs to hang out on. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Our hosts couldn't have been more nice and generous. Such a beautiful setting and place. Can't wait to return next year!!

Nephews wedding

We came to Michigan for our nephews wedding. We are from Pennsylvania. We loved the house. Tammy’s hospitality is amazing. Everything you need is there. Weather was a little cold want to go back so we can use the paddle boats. Thank you for everything. Definitely a great place to stay

Amazing Property!

You can tell Tammy and Sally put every effort and thought to making sure this house had everything you could need for an amazing weekend! The patio, outdoor shower, lily pad and kayaks were our favorite parts! The house was very clean and super cute. We can’t wait to come back for another great weekend!

Relaxing lake house

Such a great property. Well managed and maintained. Excellent location. Owners are easy to communicate with and friendly . Lake was beautiful and quiet. Best fishing and kayaking We experienced in the area. Great amenities such as kayaks , paddle boat and fire pits . We Will be staying again soon.

Cozy Lake Getaway

This was a beautiful home that is warm, inviting, comfortable and relaxing. The property owners are incredibly friendly and attentive, and have 3 wonderful dogs. The guest home offers a large deck and gazebo overlooking the lake. The hostesses offer a paddle boat and kayaks to enjoy the lake anytime during your stay. We would rent this home time and time again and will recommend to friends and family!!!

Secluded Lakeside Guest Cottage

Ever wished you had a relative with a small lakeside guest cottage. Well, that is what our stay at Tammy's cottage felt like. Specifically, Tammy worked with us on 1) an early check-in, 2) setting up her backup generator during a day long, widespread power outage and 3) allowing us to continue to use her kayaks after we checked out (for the remaining 3 days of our stay in the area). She also offered to let us continue to swim at her raft and swim mat for these 3 days as well. We felt very welcomed. We plan to return next summer.

Amazing property!

This place exceeded my expectations, amazing lake front property! Very clean and welcoming. Owners are wonderful and make you feel at home. Our fur baby had the time of his life and enjoyed kayaking and the fenced in yard. If you’re planning to fish this is the place, we watched them reel them in all weekend long. Quiet neighborhood, very peaceful and relaxing.

Adorable place for some r&r with the dog!

We had a great time relaxing, soaking up the sun by the lake and talking under the shaded gazebo. Our dog, Colbie, had several swims and launched herself from the dock to get her ball (with her doggie life vest of course!) The property was so clean. The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. Our dog also enjoyed the large fenced in yard. The ONLY thing we wish was a little better was access to restaurants and shops. You have to drive several miles for that. We loved our time here and hope to be back again!!

Absolutely adorable!

We just returned from 3 nights at this little cutie. We travel all over lower Michigan and always rent via VRBO. I have to say Tammy's rental was in our top 2 of all of our stays because it was so clean and cozy. We got to enjoy a day swimming and floating with some wine and soaking up the sun. The little lake was just peaceful and serene. We spent an afternoon visiting my favorite little lake town of St. Joe, too. The best part of this little trip was bringing our fur baby, Ruby, and just having quiet quality time together. Tammy is a fantastic host and even left a bottle of wine for us when we arrived. We can't say thank you enough for a special anniversary weekend away. We will return again without a doubt!

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I brought our dog for three nights without our kids who were at summer camp. It was the perfect, lakeside excape with a fenced in yard (and playmates) for our dog and cozy sitting area by the lake. We enjoyed jogging in the quiet neighborhood, hiking nearby and using the paddleboat! We will come back for another quiet weekend in the future and probably bring the kids with to enjoy swimming in the lake. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Rained in and still had a great time!

We arrived late in the season this year, so it was very rainy during our stay. However the small house was comfortable and enjoyable enough that it didn't matter that we were rained in. Tammy and Sally provided plenty of little extras for us to make us comfortable. Are small puppy Winston really enjoyed the wide backyard to run and play and they were even some balls provided for him to enjoy. Both of the older dogs that live in the house are very friendly and got along with our boy wonderfully. Enjoyed ourselves so much that we will probably be booking our honeymoon in the same place. Look forward to seeing you guys again.

Leaf peepin for the weekend

Perfect little spot for the two of us plus the pup. We enjoyed our quiet weekend on this beautiful little lake. The ladies who live here were kind and attentive but not intrusive. The only thing I would advise is if your pup isn’t other pet friendly I would let them know ahead of your arrival. The owners pups were very friendly and we had no issues but I do know sometimes a rescue pup prefers to be by themselves and the fenced in area is a shared space with the owners dogs. When we booked I didn’t look closely enough at the amenities and didn’t realize there isn’t a stove in the guest house. There is an easy to use grill right outside the door that we used our cast iron skillet in to make most of our meals. It worked perfectly for us but may not be for everyone. All in all we had a great weekend.
