The location of this property is excellent. It is located in a very charming and quaint area and walkable to restaurants and a very close drive to town. The check in process was very smooth as well. Black Mountain is a great place to stay. A few things to keep in mind, if you are planning on using the deck I would make that known when you rent the property. It was unusable for us due to very heavy leaves and uncleanliness. The inside could have also been cleaned better upon arrival. Hopefully our feedback will improve this for the next guests and the owner responds quicker after they are sent this information. It took over 24 hours for us to get a reply. Also, make sure you are good with stairs, as this property has 4 floors.

The house and amenities were great. The area was very quiet and the village seemed to of just updated all their walking trails with new mulch. We were very pleased and will likely return.

Great location! Close to many shops and restaurants in Black Mountain and a short 20 min drive to downtown Asheville. Has everything you could need for your getaway!

Beautiful home, fantastic neighborhood. Felt like a hidden gem just outside of Asheville. Walking trails for dogs in a quiet neighborhood. Great views and very comfortable setup. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Delightful getaway

What a delightful getaway staying at the Roost in the trees.I would highly recommend the house and the little village of Cheshire. What a special place.

The Roost is a lovely home with all the amenities you need. We loved sitting on the porch in the evenings. It is so close to the downtown area where we dined at several restaurants. Great stay. Extremely easy to connect with host.

Restorative mountain getaway

The Roost is a wonderful treehouse to stay in in such a lovely neighborhood. Comfortable and quietly situated among the trees in Black Mountain. No thanks to the owners for allowing dogs and for making everything so comfortable for all of us.

Beautiful views and a great location

We absolutely loved the location of this property. The entire neighborhood was beautiful and the house was located very close to everything we wanted to visit. Also, there is a Black Mountain YMCA located right around the corner for those who like to exercise. The bed in the master was very comfortable and we got great sleep while we stayed.

The house was just as described and in pictures too! It had everything we needed. The owners thought of everything! It was a quiet neighborhood and could walk to a few restaurants down at entrance of neighborhood. We would definitely stay again at the Roost! It was our first time at this house and Black mountain. Thank you for thinking of everything.

Beautiful, Accomodating Property.

This property is special! Three floors and a loft. Well maintained and supplied. We didnt want for anything. Trails right out the door are convenient and just a short walk to great restaurants.

Wonderful location, close to everything! The house had a musky smell and the furniture was small and uncomfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was very squeaky. There are a ton of stairs and the home did not seem very well maintained.

Great weekend

Great owners who are very responsive. The house seems to never end and was stocked very well. If you have issues with stairs, this may not be the house for you. The area is beautiful and close to everything while still being tucked away.

Great Stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Black Mountain! Loved the house and the location - Cheshire Village is so beautiful. We personally liked staying outside of Asheville. It was just a short 15 min drive in and much more peaceful than staying in downtown Asheville. We also spent a good bit of time visiting shops and restaurants in downtown Black Mountain which was very close to the vacation property. Emily was easy to work with and responded quickly. We would definitely stay there again when back in the area and will recommend to friends and family.
