4 BEDROOM - 3.5 BATH HOME (SLEEPS 9+) in the beautiful Texas Hill Country on the bank of Johnson Creek. PRIVATE gated property provides the comforts of home while relaxing under the stars and enjoying the big Texas sky. LARGE open living room and GOURMET KITCHEN make entertaining family and friends a breeze. Wrap around rock patio with GAS GRILL for family cookouts. FIRE PIT of native rock on the hillside overlooks Johnson Creek with built in seating . Large majestic pecan and oak trees shade the property.
Johnson Creek flows into the Guadalupe River and is spring fed, clear and flowing, with easy access to swim, fish, kayak, float or just sit and relax away from the crowds.

Saltillo tile floors in common areas. Granite counters and large eat-in island in the gourmet kitchen. Includes double oven, large refrigerator, electric cook top and built-in counter ice machine. Fully furnished with dishes and utensils. Crystal glassware and China available too. Hand scraped rustic dining table seats 12. Vaulted 24 foot ceilings with wood beams and a native rock wood burning fire place give the home the warm feel of a resort lodge. In the living room are all leather sofa, recliners and chair, a 65â flat screen TV, and indoor and outdoor airplay built-in speakers that allow guests to personalize their stay with their own play lists.
Windows that are floor to ceiling provide an open and panoramic view of the water and nature that make every one say, âWow! What a view.â White tail, axis and red deer, blackbuck antelope, albino water buffalo, wild turkey, tobiano paint horses and wild birds can all be seen from inside the home.

Sixth generation Texans, we returned to the Texas Hill Country in 2010 and began raising Spanish Goats and growing a variety of fruit trees. In 2019 we ventured into vacation rentals with 3 cabins in Vanderpool, TX near Lost Maples State Park on our family ranch. Then in 2020 we added Vista Royale, Casita Corta and in 2021 the Lodge at Falling Rock in Mountain Home, Texas.
