good times in biloxi

Nice but Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was in a great location for Cruisin' the Coast and the place was decorated adequately. Comfortable beds and kitchen had basic needs. Not enough towels, but we expected that and brought extra. The pool was nice/ the kids in our group enjoyed it. Overall we were only somewhat satisfied. Our biggest issues were that the unit we stayed in had issues with both the AC unit and the upstairs toilet. Not big enough that it interrupted our stay, but VERY annoying. The upstairs toilet made an awful noise when flushed so we didnt dare flush it when anyone was sleeping for fear of waking everyone up. It literally echoed throughout the entire unit. The worse thing was that the AC unit dripped into two mop buckets that were situated underneath the unit in the closet, along with a bilge pump. The buckets had to be emptied twice a day so they wouldn't overflow. We forgot to empty them one time and had a MESS trying to get them out and had water everywhere. Thankfully there was a restroom right there so we didn't have to go far with the buckets. For the price we paid ($235 a night) we certainly didn't expect to be hauling buckets of water to dump out in the toilet. It was just a very disgusting ordeal to have to mess with everyday, twice a day and it made the stay unpleasant for us. I would like to give the overall property condition a higher rating but the toilet/AC issues just overwhelmed the good points. If we were to return, I would not want that unit again. Though I doubt we will return to stay there again.
