Villa Tatutina är en spektakulär tropisk gård som har beskrivits som en av de finaste och mest unika fastigheterna i alla Bahamas. “The Very Best in Island Living”. Villa Tatutina består av 6 gäststrukturer och 7 stödstrukturer. The Gate House, med lockigt svans, clownfish och papegoja fisksviter, inkluderar ett komplett badrum, fullt kök och tvättstuga. Varje svit har en separat ingång.

Det finns tre hus belägen runt en innergård med en fontän och kaskadande bougainvillea över en vackert upplyst trädgård. Harbour House är inrett i ett härligt Bahamian-tema och är komplett med rymligt vardagsrum, frukostområde och kök. Vardagsrummet har en nedviktssoffa. Trädgårdssviten har ett badrum på första våningen och övervåningen Sky-sviten har ett badrum på rummet.

Reef House består av Grouper-sviten och Red Snapper-sviten, båda med ett badrum på rummet. Blue Hole-sviten, som nås via trappor genom Red Snapper, har också ett komplett badrum.

Gathering House är designat för att underhålla gäster i en formell eller informell miljö. Den har ett vackert möblerat vardagsrum och matsal med skräddarsydda glasfönster från golv till tak. Dock kommer att rymma en båt på 100 och 70 och båda hamnen har 50 amp och 100 amp service. Dockavgifter gäller för alla hyrbåtar. Det finns is för en avgift vid kajen.

Company Retreat

We rented Villa Tatting for our company retreat and it was perfect. We all had space and the gathering house and pool made it easy for everyone to gather when we wanted to. The private villas gave everyone privacy as well. 10/10 would recommend. The staff onsite and offsite were extremely responsive, friendly and accommodating!

Breath taking

Bren was absolutely fantastic. Helpful,nice and gracious . The property and the services provided could not be any better. We travel and stay at a lot of 5 star destinations so the only thing I can come up with this must be 6 stars. Thank you Bren for a wonderful stay!!!

30th Anniversary Party

I am not sure where to start with how much we enjoyed our stay at this house. This property is amazing to say it mildly.... We went with three other couples for our 30th Anniversary. Bren (owner) was there when we where and she checked on us through out the day to make sure we have everything we needed. She was so knowledgeable about The Bahamas and things to do. You will not be disappointed with this property.....

Great Experience

The property was excellent and the owner, Bren, is a fantastic lady. Anything we needed was taken care of and done with a smile. The beds, bathrooms, and living areas are perfect. We cooked a lot and the kitchen more than exceeded our expectations. This property is especially great if you have a boat. You can get gas just two docks over. Loading and unloading couldn't have been more convienent. We caught more fish than we could eat so Bren took us to a local pastor who is helping those who have very little and we gave the pastor what we had.

World Class Property & Owner

Usually not the type to write reviews, but compelled to do so for this Owner & Property. We are seasoned renters of Luxury and 5* properties. Villa Tatutina is in a class of its own. Online photos do not come close to what the Villa and grounds actually are. From the level of thought in designing the amazing property, detail, workmanship, quality of furnishings, professional layout and landscaping, to the amenities and location, all amazing. Bren the Owner is a class act and was genuinely a joy to engage with. Helpful, kind and resourceful beyond expectation and explanation. Willy, the Manager, our "go to guy" was so helpful throughout our two week stay. Our family all left feeling like we made new friends. Too many examples to share, but both Bren & Willy came through in so many ways from transportation, on-site assistance, recommendations for island hopping, boat rentals, deep sea fishing, etc. Each Villa is so amazing, offering our entire family privacy and "alone time" in high quality accommodations. Outdoor kitchen by pool and water simply spectacular with ice maker, fridge, Viking grill, overhead exhaust, dishwasher and music! So many areas for relaxing you have to see it to believe it, words just can't describe it. If you are boaters, the Villa is also set up from small crafts to very large with the Villa having its own docks and full service stations. Getting to and from airport super easy, 10 minute taxi and about $25 for full size van. Marsh Harbour area marinas, restaurants/bars super casual, good food, great drinks and about a 15 minute walk from Villa or not even a 5 minute drive. We used A&P car rental and had a van delivered to the Villa with Bren's assistance. Way to go once you get to understand the airports restrictions and rental agencies locations. Made a trip out to Treasure Cay area, beachside Coco Beach Bar & Grill has great set up. Good food and drinks. Investigate online for beach as they charge nominal fees for chairs and thatched covered tables. Definitely rent a boat (Blue Wave was our choice but know the fuel is $5 a gal and oil $65/gal) and do some Cay exploring. No Name Cay with the pigs running around was crazy fun. Abacos is so laid back. Never been prior, but would absolutely return. When that happens, we will be at no other place but Villa Tatutina. Amazing. Thanks Bren!

This is it! A truly awesome private resort!

Wow! One is never sure of what to expect when booking any private vacation Villa. We hope to find an accommodation that looks at least pretty close in person to what pictures are posted online. After exhaustive online research, I decided that the Villa Tatutina also seemed to fit in with our own luxurious vacation home venue ideas. With fingers crossed, I secured the week, and I set out to "fill in" the rest of the details for excursions, boat rentals, and the like. From the very start, Villa Tatutina's gracious owner, Ms. Bren Barlow, proved to be an invaluable asset for our vacation's coordination process. Need a boat rental?; no problem, she will help with suggestions and contact information. A rental car? She helps not only get things set up, but she actually has the vehicle delivered to the villa in advance, and takes care of handling the paperwork! How about a private butler who can help set up an amazing private chef...or a private musician group? No problem, she knows the perfect person! Need a talented masseuse, or an expert local guide for offshore or inshore fishing? Yep, her recommended privately sourced butler can help with that too! The truth is that the online pictures do not do the Villa justice at all! The Villa and grounds, the overall ambiance and convenient design, the breathtaking landscaping and the truly unexpected attention to every detail....each are evident with every turn of the head. The pool and pavilions are truly large, luxuriously appointed, ideally sized for a large group....and the overall resort like "feel" of the architecture is uniquely inspired. The Abaco islands themselves offer such a unique experience with nature's beauty...the island's reputation for amazing bone fishing, deep sea fishing, reef diving, sailing, beach combing...all of it is well earned. We swam with and even fed small sharks, gentle stingrays, hungry sea turtles...and even fed swimming pigs by hand! We all agreed the best parts of each day involved coming "home" to Bren's amazing Villa Tatutina; splashing around the pool, dining at the summer kitchen pavilion, gathering around the leisure room at night, and falling into the comfort of luxury linens at the end of the evening. Even the ever present breezes made us wish we lived there full time, in "paradise found". We found that the Villa price as charged was more fair than anywhere else we have yet stayed. What a vacation, and what a value!!

Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning, kommunikation och plats

Gr8 property (only one big problem)

We were there the 2nd week of July '19. The location and home were as advertised, really nice property, well outfitted, very nice dock and great location. Staff was very nice and helpful (took sometime to hear back a couple of times, but all in all everything got done). Only ONE HUGE issue......We reserved this home because my neighbors had it last summer and raved about it, ESPECIALLY the "master suite". The new owner has recently taken it for himself and made a new "master suite". TOTAL JOKE ! We would have taken one of the guest suites, but our friends with kids needed them. The "new" master suite might pass for a room at the Holiday Inn (and that's being kind). Small, no closet, no internet (in that room only), no tv, no box spring, just a cheap mattress on plywood, with sharp, exposed corners. I cut myself badly and will no doubt have that scar for the rest of my days ( I have the pictures of the chunk it took out of my shin and all the blood). For that much money, the master was a real disappointment. Anyway, such is life, other than the master suite, it's pretty cool.

Paradise!! Your own little resort!

Where do we begin? First of all, want to let everyone know about two amazing people who we met. First, there was Carolyn the property manager who was so helpful with everything, who answered my numerous emails so quickly, made arrangments for two birthday cakes to be made for my grand twins 11th golden birthday and delivered! Then there was Willie who was at the property every day bright and early to make sure that things were ready for the day, and made sure that we had everything we needed. When we first arrived at the property we knew we landed in Paradise. The grounds on the property were amazing and the different buildings, which we called our houses, were exactly what we thought they would be. We spent the week with our two sons and their families. The gathering house was the best place for all of us to enjoy our meals together in the mornings. Each family had their own house to stay in and we never worried about waking others up since we all had our separate sleeping quarters. The one house with the kids sleeping area is amazing, but one note, to get up there you have to climb a ladder stair. We had a three-year-old that we would not allow them to go up because it was steep! The pool area was huge and great for all. A small sandy area with a hammock for the little one. There was also a hot tub that was great for the chilly nights that we had. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for the evening meals. The dock for our boat was great. Would love to have had some chairs on the dock for some night fishing that we did. The property was gated and we never thought once about locking up the houses when we left. The laundry facility on the property was great to have midweek. I just can't say enough about this property. Thank you for allowing us to spend the week at the lovely property and we will be back!

Fantastic family vacation in Abacos!

Much is expected at a five-star villa and EVERYTHING went way beyond that. No detail is overlooked. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen with double sink with garbage disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator, fully stocked with silverware, dishes and glasses. Bren and Willy could not have been more helpful and that is an understatement. The bags of ice and five gallon jugs of water delivered every day was a nice touch. The dock could not have been better for mooring a boat and the dock house was very convenient for storing equipment and cleaning fish and lobster. You can NOT go wrong with this Villa, the price is more than reasonable considering all you get. We will certainly return next year. Worthy Bingaman and Stephen Bailey families

Villa Tatutina has to be the most beautiful & relaxing property on the island.

What a wonderful week. Just too short. The villa itself is a work of art and the landscaping & pool are truly outstanding. We have traveled quite a bit & never stayed anywhere nicer. Our grandchildren are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. I hope we can return .

Amazing

Our wedding would not have been possible without Bren and Tatutina

I've been going to the Abacos for a very long time. I never even considered having our wedding anywhere else. When looking at places for the main family to stay, we found Villa Tatutina. The ability to come together when we wanted in the main house, pool, or dock but also importantly tuck away to our own privacy when needed, could not have been more perfect. Our request of Bren was above and beyond normal guests for the week- we asked if we could throw our rehearsal dinner there as well. She was more than helpful and made sure everything was PERFECT at all times. Throughout the week, there was nothing that she didn't have ready with a smile. I honestly can't say enough nice things after spending over a week there. Thank you, Bren. We couldn't have pulled it off without you. -Graham and Anna Heyward

Amazing Experience

We had two families staying at Villa Tatutina for a wedding along with numerous friends staying close by for 10 days and it could not have been a nicer experience. Bren and Willy were more than accommodating of our every need. We had the rehearsal dinner for 80 guests by the pool and it was truly magical. As a boating group, we had rental boats from Blue Water and traveled to multiple adjacent islands enjoying the entire Bahamas experience. Thank you Bren for your assistance when needed during our stay.

Fantastic way to bring in 2017

We took our family of 8 to Villa Tatutina the day after Christmas for one of the most fun weeks we have spent anywhere. The Villa is amazingly beautiful both inside and out. Nothing is left out. The landscaping is absolutely top notch and the layout and interior spaces are beautiful and immaculate. We took our boat and the dock was first rate as well. Marsh Harbour provides a great view of life in the Bahamas without a feeling of over commercialization. The owner was there, but totally unobtrusive. In fact we had to encourage her to spend time with us. She provided terrific insights into the island and surrounding areas for us to explore and enjoy. We can't wait to go back!

Amazing Property and Service

We had 4 family's stay for 2 weeks. (18) The Owner( Bren) made herself available to us coming in, ( some by boat, some by plane), which is unheard of in the rental industry. What an elegant lady and so much knowledge to help our group with various activities. The grounds and facilities were excellent and every request was met with a smile and desire to go beyond our wishes. Bren's caretaker Willie was the nicest guy. Always pop'ed in when we had any little request. The kids loved the pool, crossing over to the over side to snorkel the reef's and the dock and boat house where gathering spots for evening drinks and some night time fishing. (even caught a tarpon off the back of the boat!) The layout of the property couldn't be better, with outdoor grilling, covered socializing area's and upscale kitchen's in several building's. And Stock'ed to the brim with every cooking pot, pan's, dishes, and utensil's. the Villa has everything you need for your vacation. I've been to most islands and stayed in some good and some not so good locations. This is by far the best location I've booked in my 20+years of coming to the Islands. For family and friends its unbeatable. Villa TaTuTina gets 5 gold stars from us!!!

Amazing property!

Our group of 10 adults had an amazing time at Villa Tatutina. The property is incredible! The pictures do not do it justice. The owner Bren was there, she is very fun to talk to and has all the local knowledge you could ever ask for. The work staff (mostly Willie) was always available to help with anything we asked for. A short walk away we snorkeled on Mermaid Reef; excellent fish viewing and the surf was gentle. Next time we'll get a boat to park on the very well appointed deck so we can explore some of the out islands. Marsh itself is more built up than a lot of the other Bahamas islands, the grocery store is HUGE (by Bahamas standards), there are several banks and plenty of restaurants in town, but we mostly enjoyed the seclusion of the villa and cooked at the house. Can't recommend this place enough, we had a great time!

This was my first experience using VRBO. I was very shocked. I have been to the Bahamas nine times but this trip by far was the best one ever. This house was amazing. I cannot describe how beautiful everything was. The pictures don't do it justice. Its like being in your own private paradise. This place has any and everything you could possibly ever want. But most of all the people were awesome! They went far and beyond to make us happy. They helped us with renting a boat and groceries and everything in between. I definitely will be back to see Ms. Brenda and Willie as soon as possible. My whole group agreed they made us feel like family.

Excellent

We are a family of 11 that spent a week at Villa Tatutina. Three of us arrived by boat and were met by Willie, the grounds keeper, on the dock. We were expecting the Villa and grounds to be beautiful having seen all the pictures online, but were blown away with all the little details. Our 15 year old grandson was barely containing himself, he was so excited. Our tour began on the pier, where the little house there had everything you could possibly want for water skiing, including many various size life jackets. We went by the beautiful pool, with the waterfall and a basketball net, the outdoor kitchen, dining and lounge area. Willie pointed out the outside bath room and showed us where all the, beach towels, pool toys and floats were. Since we have a 4, 6 and 7 year old grandchildren, we were a little concerned about the bedrooms not being connected to the main gathering room but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Having the gathering room with its large lounge area, fully equipped kitchen, large dining room, powder room bath, and office allowed those who woke early or who stayed up late to watch tv, get something to eat, surf the net, watch a movie or just visit and play cards around the dining room table, without waking or bothering anyone else. There was plenty of room for us to spread out comfortably. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and beautiful. The upstairs kids bedroom was a big hit and one night the grands had a "sleep over" up there. We used this as a base of operations. We were diving 3 days and then would take day trips on our boat to other islands. Everyone really loved the pool and the basket ball net was a really great idea and was used a lot. We are already talking about a return stay!

Perfect Villa for a lot of people

We had a great time at Villa Tatutina and used this location as a home base. It's the perfect 'home" destination and then every day we ventured out to a different destination. It's big enough where everyone can have their own space to do what they want. The grounds were beautiful and the owner was very accommodating. The pool area was inviting and fun. The kitchens are great and we took full advantage of having them. We also felt safe and would not hesitate to return.

Best Family Vacation Ever!!!

Our group of 13 just spend a week at Villa Tatutina in June. We were a group of 4 children and 9 adults, ranging in age from 10 to 76. This was a second visit for most in our group. We had a fabulous time and would rate it as one of the best trips we have ever been on. The property is still stunningly amazing. The only problem was that we ran out of time. We had such an awesome experience, nobody wanted to leave. Everything worked perfectly. Air conditioning in other villas we have rented throughout the Caribbean is sometimes weak or broken. Everyone in our group stayed cool and comfortable. We enjoyed great meals from the poolside grill including jerk chicken, steak and lobster. The kids had a blast catching small grouper and other fish from the dock. The pool is absolutely wonderful, and was well used every day. If we weren't sitting on the steps talking or hanging out on the floats, we were playing water volleyball or basketball. There is a covered outdoor sitting area between the pool and outdoor kitchen that was a favorite spot for those enjoying reading. We had a fantastic time on the boat that is available with the villa. Captain Sam did a great job taking us places to find shells, snorkel, and swim with sea turtles. He also took us shopping and to a wonderful restaurant for lunch at Hope Town. Sightseeing by boat is a must. The villa is also within walking distance of the well known Jib Room and Mermaid Reef, both highly recommended. Having 2 minivans available with the villa is extremely convenient. It is really hard for me to adequately express what an awesome place Villa Tatutina is and I feel it's even better than photos represent. We are extremely fortunate to have been able to bring our family and friends here twice. We missed seeing John, the owner, on our trip this year, but he did call to check in on us. We enjoyed our time with him. In his absence, we were well taken care of by Willie who helps maintain this beautiful place and keeps everything running smoothly. He can also arrange local excursions for you. One of the things I enjoyed doing again on this visit was exploring around, taking pictures of all of the incredible landscaping, streams, water features, and well thought out structures that make up this property. When you take the time to look around with sincere appreciation for what a special place this is, it becomes quite clear there was a tremendous amount of heart that went into making it that way.

Gorgeous villa!!

For our fourth trip to Abaco we chose Villa Tatutina on the recommendation of friends who had been there. There were ten in our group and everyone had a wonderful stay. The grounds are picture perfect, the accommodations are comfortable and private, the gathering spaces are roomy and inviting. We especially liked the pool and gazebo area, spending a lot of time relaxing while watching the boats and activity in the harbor. Having a car available and a great place to dock our rental boat made getting around easy. The staff was pleasant and helpful. If you get a chance to have Andrea cook for you, you will not be disappointed. Her food and service was outstanding. We had a wonderful week and would certainly return.

ABOVE AND BEYOND EXCELLENCE!!

We stayed at Villa Tatutina with our family of 6, a guest, and another family of 4 that also brought a guest. Each family had their own living 'homes' and the main villa that we stayed in was absolutely exceptional! The photos do not quite do the property justice in the size, the gardens, and the amazing sprawling grounds! There is a 'gathering ' villa that has a full chef's kitchen, beautiful dining room and a spacious, yet comfortable lounging great room with tv, dvd , speakers, and stereo system. The pool, with its lovely rocky waterfall, sits adjacent to a full-size outdoor gazebo and dining area and kitchen. (Also with a great I-dock and speaker system.) Steps away are a full, imported painted tile restroom and shower facility, as well as an 8-10 person hot tub that literally sits a few feet from the harbor waters (such a tranquil late night reprieve under a full moon....) We also cannot say enough about the owner and nearby resident, John. Any little question, and minor details, he was always nearby to tend to our needs. When one of our guests became ill with a flu-bug that she arrived with, he did not hesitate in personally driving the family to the doctor on Easter Sunday!! The whole experience has been 'above and beyond' our expectations! It is a phenomenal property that is a hidden jewel on the island of Marsh Harbor. Easy to fly into, minutes from the airport, minutes from a great grocery, and a great dock for a boat so you can have access to any island in the Bahamas! You and your guests will not be disappointed in this unbelievable vacation destination!

awesome experience

We Chose this property because of the high percentage of great reviews from past guests. We are completely blown away with our stay and it is only half over. My daughter became ill in florida just before we flew over. During her first three days stay John, the owner checked on her frequently and took her to meet a doctor ON EASTER!!! He then has herbal specialist come and help her regain her strength. WAY over the top level of service, The place is off the charts gorgeous. Never have I experienced this level of floral plantings and manicured outdoor space. We continue to use the outdoor kitchen and poolside dining room and living room more than any other area of the property. John dispatched Willy to tend ot all of our high tech shortcomings related to the many sound systems and tvs throughout the property. After a couple lessons we were all good. The Hot tub was a nice treat for the kids and the adults. We rented a boat for our stay and kept it right at the dock. My only complaint so far is that I didnt bring more people to share this luxury retreat with. I recommend staying longer than a week as it takes some time to get here and you wont want to leave. 3 0r 4 families could easily share this experience.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

This house was perfect. We had 5 couple attend the week long vacation. We brought over a center-console from Fort Lauderdale & docked the entire week at the house. The House was so perfect. We enjoyed the pool & outdoor kitchen area where we cooked lunch & dinners. Each couple had their own private room/house & bathroom. John was super awesome! We just loved him! He even went to dinner with us one night at Jib Room. He really takes care of the house & the property. It was beautiful. We really enjoyed the week there. We went to Pete’s Pub, Nippers, Jib Room, Treasure Cay & so many more awesome places!! Would recommend this house to anybody & we cant wait for the next trip! Sara & Chris

I do not recommend Villa Tatutina

We stayed here in October 2012 and it was nice enough. The location is good, the grounds lovely and the accommodations were nice. It is ideal for a large group with a main guesthouse that is separate from the sleeping quarters. The only complaints were that some members of our group were annoyed by how much time the owner, John, spent socializing with us. We returned in March 2015 and were surprised by how much the place had deteriorated. The pool was filthy. The Jacuzzi broken (no attempt made to fix it). The pool-side grill was broken and never fixed. The main house and guest rooms were tidied but not clean. Other things to note: this is a ‘luxury’ rental but guests have to pay for drinking water. There is a water filter in the refrigerator but it needs to be replaced - not sure why it wasn't. Also, when we visited a few years ago, soap and shampoo were provided but that is no longer the case. John also charges for use of snorkel gear and the kayaks, FYI. But the most egregious issue is the appalling behavior of the owner, John, toward several of the guests. One morning, without warning, a photographer came to the house to take photos for a real estate listing. He threw our pool towels and bathing suits on the wet and dirty ground so we decided to wash them. We used our own detergent even though we were washing John’s towels (John told us if we used his detergent we would have to replace it). Later that day, John walked into the house (he never knocks first) and started screaming at us about messing up his dryer. He wouldn’t stop yelling at us even though we explained that the towels we washed were still in the washer. We finally went to the laundry room and helped him adjust the controls on the dryer (he doesn’t know how to use it). At this time, we tried to explain to him that we were washing towels because his photographer had thrown them on the ground. He told us that wasn’t his fault and it wasn’t his responsibility to replace dirty pool towels. But that wasn’t the worst part. A cabinet door in the boathouse had rusted through its hinge and fell onto my child, resulting in bloody gash on his face (thank god it wasn’t deep enough to require stitches). John’s response to this was to scream at me that it wasn’t his fault or his responsibility to make sure his property didn’t cause injury. At this point we decided never to return to Villa Tatutina. And I would strongly recommend that no one rent this place either.
