Come relax in this cozy bungalow on beautiful Lake Jordan ( Holtville side) and only thirty minutes from Montgomery . Whether you are looking for a great fishing vacation, fun with family, or just want a great place to relax; this is the place for you!

This cabin features two bedrooms with full bed in one and Queen bed in other bedroom, bathroom ( shower only) , washer and dryer, equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances. Extra sleeping is provided in gathering room with a queen size pull out sofa. Gather in the large gathering area with windows galore with lake views. Off the living room is a quaint sunroom for you to enjoy your morning coffee or just sit on the deck at night enjoying the outdoors. It is fully equipped with all of your daily living needs and is located within one mile of a grocery store.

It has a large yard with almost 300 feet of waterfront! Bring your own personal water sports equipment. Want to bring your boat? There is a public boat ramp within a mile for your convenience!

Perfect place for your mind and soul reset!

I am so happy to have found Barefoot Bungalow! It is a lovely place in a beautiful and peaceful setting. You cannot help but to be relaxed from the minute you arrive. My family, including our fur baby, had an absolutely wonderful time. We did not want to leave, and we will be back.

Fantastic lakefront setting

Very nice location. Beautiful views and easy access to waterfront activities. The public boat landing is right across the cove from the house. Great deep water dock to tie your boat to, swim from and lay in the sun. The owners are fantastic. We'll be back.

Quiet and relaxing

House was clean, cozy and inviting and the view is great. We traveled to Wetumka for the wildlife arts festival and the peacefulness of this cottage was what we were looking for.

This lake home is excellent. It is very clean and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. The swimming area is excellent. Just what we were looking for. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Perfect

Absolutely perfect stay. Owner was great and responded quickly. Very convenient for anything that you want to do in Central Alabama. Cabin was cozy, fishing was excellent, and the views from the porch are amazing. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

The Barefoot Bungalow was the perfect choice for our weekend getaway. Everything was so nice, its very convenient, beautiful furnishings. Views are amazing. We all loved sitting on the covered porch having our coffee, relaxing, and especially watching the sunsets. We will definitely be back!

Lovely house, perfect for a girls weekend. Great views of lake. When bugs came out the screened in porch was great to have. We had to reach out to host on something and they responded within a few minutes. Thats was really nice. It was a really relaxing place. We loved it.

Relaxing. Serene. Scenery.

Barefoot Bungalow is the perfect getaway spot. The fishing is great! Perfect swimming access. Chad the host is very accessible and accommodating. Moderately priced. Just an all out great place to come and relax and wash away the stress of working. This is our 2nd time renting this place and are making plans to make it our yearly vacation destination! 5 stars all around! Greg and Jamella Herring.

Dream vacation

This house was fantastic in every way. It was just down from the boat launch. We could see my husband put our boat in the water. Then he docked in front of the house to pick us up. It was a birthday/anniversary to remember. The only thing we might say is there were ants in the shower.

Very disappointed on the cleanliness

The cleanliness of the house was very terrible every corner of the ceiling & floors had cobwebs & dead bugs ..windows, screens & sills were full of dirt & dead bugs. Cabinets had dead ants & bugs..my wife took the vacuum & cleared cobwebs out,dead mouse found under sink …contacted owner due to previous review prior visit & was assured no rodents & that the place is cleaned thoroughly. The closets had cobwebs with dead bugs & spiders stuck in them with dust covering the ironing board & floors. When I pointed out the closets & asked the cleaning lady would she hang her clothes in the closet that filthy? The lake & location is simply beautiful & plenty of seating area outside & nearby town Wetumpka is a really cute town. We left early & it’s a shame. The owner did apologize & refund for the days we didn’t stay. Disappointed that we were assured place is clean & no rodent issues.
