Relaxing lake stay

Beautiful setting and nicely decorated. The furnace was noisier than I expected but took the chill off in the evenings.

Peaceful

We enjoyed a very peaceful time on the water. The house was well stocked with the essentials. The coffee pods were appreciated as we brought regular ground coffee.

A hidden gem in northern Indiana

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to renting again! The location is a great place to enjoy nature and relax. Time seems to slow down here, making even a short visit seem long. Very, very relaxing.

Adorable cottage on a quiet lake

The property was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! The house was clean and well stocked. Greg was very helpful with the pontoon and took us on a ride around the lake before giving us the keys. The screened in porch was perfect to relax in at night while keeping the bugs away. Would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect Lake House

The house was lovely, had everything you could need for your stay. The internet worked great, the lake was beautiful. Greg was a ton of help! Enjoyed the fishing, swimming and the boating! Could not recommend highly enough!

Fantastic!

This wonderful cottage was so pretty and comfortable. The screened in porch was nice at night. My husband and I were there for a week, and we were the only ones on the lake almost every day. We loved watching the fish and the turtles at the end of the pier. The lake is small, so there is no skiing or fast boating, but if you want a peaceful, relaxing place, this is it!

Love this place

My family and I just spent a week here and it was great! The location right on the lake is beautiful. The property is clean and well maintained. We had a blast grilling out, fishing and swimming. I definitely recommend.

Quiet Modern and Clean Place to Stay

We stayed three nights as we were attending a conference at the college 30 minutes drive away. We brought the dog who had the best time of all. It was a great choice.

Great Place!!! Definitely want to go back!!!

It’s a Beautiful Place!! Being on a private lake is Wonderful!! Met some of the neighbors and they were all very nice and welcoming. The owner reached out to me a few times to make sure everything was good, which meant a lot. Already thinking of rebooking for next year!!

Perfect getaway

This is totally a hidden gem that was perfect for a 5 night getaway for 2 adults and 2 water loving dogs! The lake house was recently updated, has everything you’ll need and is surrounded by the sounds of nature. The owner and host were very accommodating. 5 stars, we will definitely book again.

Relaxing Family Getaway

My husband and I and our two adult daughters enjoyed our stay at Bellevue Cottage. It was so peaceful and quiet! The cottage is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed time on the water—fishing and relaxing one day in the pontoon and taking the kayaks out several times. We also took day trips to Shipshewana and Winona Lake. We loved the space and the relaxation it provided for our special family time together.

2nd stay this summer

We 1st stayed over Memorial Day and booked again for Labor Day weekend. This property has everything one would need for a relaxing weekend. The property is clean and the bed in the primary bedroom was really comfortable. They really thought of everything. We will be back.

Charming lakeside cottage

We came in town to run the HUFF at Chain o lakes. This was the perfect base camp to explore Columbia city as well as easy access to the park(17 minute drive). House is well supplied, heat worked great, nice hot shower and lovely views of the lake. Communication with hosts is stellar.

Perfect Getaway Spot

We had a wonderful stay! The house is amazing with breathtaking views and all the creature comforts you could want. The house is newly renovated and is very well kept. The lake is so peaceful. Most nights we had the entire lake to ourselves. It was magnificent to watch the sunset while kayaking on a perfectly still lake. This is a wonderful oasis and I highly recommend it. It was a great vacation and I can't wait to come back!

We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay this past Memorial Day weekend. The house was clean, comfortable and perfectly appointed. The cabin was stocked with all of the little extras that really made the difference. John was very easy to reach and Greg the neighbor was so kind and helpful (Greg rents the pontoon). The bed was comfortable and the cabin has everything you could think of. We spent the day cruising around on the pontoon boat and took the kayaks out a few times as well. The lake is quiet and relaxed. We already booked our next stay. We can’t wait to return.

wonderful in everyway

Everything was great, one problem though: the dog. There was no place to walk or run or even feel free in a back yard but even it would not be on a leash there is no security for a pet. Also since we have a sail boat, Loon lake would be better for us. So if you can move your beautiful cottage there, we would be your permanent customers.

Best sister weekend EVER

Thus was by far the best girl trip. Fishing, shopping in what town I called Yoder (Amish). Great friendly neighbors. The house was clean. There was actually a fresh spice garden. The pantry had handy stuff to use. The owners had immediate response. I give it a 6 out of 5 star review

Amazing getaway!

We had an awesome 5 days here. Photos of the listing were accurate, but don’t do it justice. The home is stocked with everything you’d need, including a ton of basics and seasonings for cooking. High speed internet and TV made a nice distraction during the rain. Otherwise we were out fishing from the dock. There are tons of little fish right around there, perfect for kids to fish. The screened in porch was the perfect place to read and relax at night. We can’t wait to come back next summer!
