Skönheten i inställningen för detta hem är oöverträffad. Från den stora öppna verandan, visa orörda vita sandstränder indiska Pass med flera arter av sjöfåglar, njuta av att titta på delfiner i viken, och uppleva stjärnorna på natten som du aldrig sett dem. Även nattugglor vill vakna för de spektakulära soluppgångar kikar ovanför den västra spetsen av vackra St. Vincents Island, en National Wildlife Refuge bara en kort kajak resa bort. När du har bott på "Starlight by the Sea" kommer du aldrig vill lämna - det händer alla.

Detta hem var designad av ägarna för kul för hela familjen, alla åldrar och även de 4-benta medlemmar också. Indiska Pass är hunden vänligaste stranden hittar du någonsin. Liksom hästar? Vi är hästvänligt, alltför. Ride the 5000 hektar Buffer Bevara eller 8000 hektar Box R Ranch, eller med tillstånd och svans väskor, rida de vackra stränderna i indiska Pass och Cape San Blas. Det finns också bra fiske, båtliv och golf. Efter all denna aktivitet, koppla gungar i hängmattan, sola på öppet däck, eller läsa en god bok i skuggan av verandan. I haven't been to this part of Florida in 9 years and it didn't disappoint! The home was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Very large porch that we enjoyed, dogs loved the porch too. The views of the sunrise from the porch were stunning. Joy was very quick to respond to any questions and even had a little welcome gift for us! I hope to come back soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing beach trip.

Ready to go back!

The home was advertised exactly as it is! Joy was easy to communicate with, and was most accommodating!I have to express how comfortable the bed is in the second “Master” bedroom! I honestly don’t think I have EVER had a truly restful vacation before this one!! I will be completely honest about the water in our particular area. While there, it was murky. But there were storms coming and going… We rented a golf cart from a local person, and cruised the beach a little further away from the area we were staying, and it seemed to get a little more clear, with a few wading areas. This was not a big issue to us, as we don’t typically base our vacation entirely around “swimming” but if you do…you may want to weigh out that option? This doesn’t take away the beauty of this destination. We found some of the LARGEST sea shells than we EVER have,we caught plenty of catfish (kinda funny coming from Indiana). I saw dauphins so close to the shore, that I felt like I could pet them (not recommended, that statement is just for reference.) We saw bald eagles, a beautiful doe, and so much wildlife I couldn’t believe it! If you are looking for slow living, charm, wild life, beautiful views, restful nights… I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME FOR YOUR NEXT VACATION!!!!

Great place!

Homey place with a lot of positives. Super large back deck. A good grill. Clean aside from some wear likely from dogs but minor. Would totally recommend especially with pets and would go back. Finally great host.

A beautifully kept property!

This house has it all! A beautiful wrap around deck (partially shaded), conveniently located hoses and an outdoor shower. Has gates on walkway to the beach so furry friends cannot escape! Really a super place!

Peace begins with a stay at Starlight by the Sea 💜

Starlight by the Sea has been a part of my Spring renewal for over 10 years. Each morning starts sipping coffee with my pup Seva on my lap as we watch the rim of the sun touch the horizon creating a masterpiece of red, orange and yellow colors reflecting on the water…later slow walks on the beach, kayaking to the island or giggling on the deck with friends cultivate a deep inner peace 💜

Peaceful Paradise!

Every day is peaceful at Starlight By The Sea!! I’ve been staying here for over 10 years and it’s just as beautiful , peaceful and in my opinion a paradise like the first time I stayed here! The sunrises, sunsets, walks on the beach will bring you daily joy! And the host is wonderful!! Joy is very responsive and goes out of her way to make sure your time is exactly as you desire.

Beautiful and Wonderful Home

We have stayed with Joy for two years now and will not consider staying anywhere else. Joy is a very attentive and gracious host and is always accessible. The house is sitting on such a beautiful location and and the view from the huge deck is nothing short of stunningly spectacular. We will absolutely be back, hopefully sooner than later as we always do.

Private and secluded

Love that it's secluded. Definitely a fishing area which we didn't do with the kids. Took them to Cape San Blas which was only 15 mins down the road; the water was a lot clearer which they enjoyed. I would definitely stay here again and do a lot of fishing. The house had everything we needed for our week long stay! Thank you Ms Joy for a wonderful home away from home.

Starlight by the Sea is a wonderful place! Well stocked home, great fishing & very dog friendly !!

This home is wonderful! The Stallings have thought of everything to make their visitors feel at home. In addition to a well stocked home, the beach and fishing were awesome. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets, eagles, stingrays, sand pipers, pelicans and dolphins. It is a nature get away and a phenomenal fishing place. And as a bonus, our dog had a wonderful time and was exhausted at the end of every day--a plus for all!!

The perfect family vacation

We absolutely loved our 2 weeks at the beach house. One week just two of us then the kids and grandkids the 2nd week. The dolphins in the bay were so fun to watch. The miles of beach to walk and the sunrises each day were delightful. The property itself was perfect. The outside deck is huge and incredible. We love that it’s dog friendly too. Joy was always available for questions and great to work with. We hope to be back!

May vacay

The house was great. Everything was awesome and we had a great time. The porch was the biggest draw. Sunrise to sunset the porch was the place to be if you weren’t on the beach. The only draw back for us was the path from the end of our walk to the beach. Tall grass and sand byes. Couple a couple of steps but stepping stones or just cleared a little would have made a world of difference. Everything else was exactly what you would want in a beach vacay. Thank you.

So Nice!

Oh Joy! What a beautiful home and view! The other reviews stating the pictures did not do it justice are correct. House is beautiful and perfectly clean. View is incredible from the deck. The locals are nice and friendly. We really enjoyed the raw bar and was very glad that the General store was there right at the end of Indian Pass Rd. Will definitely be coming back. Thank You!!!

I am an anthropologist and my husband is a commercial real estate attorney. We are both now retired with 3 horses and 4 dogs, living quite a different lifestyle on Indian Pass from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta city life. As pictured here with me, we often enjoy having our beautiful granddaughter with us at 'Starlight by the Sea', a place filled with years of wonderful times and family memories.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When we saw our property on Indian Pass in 1992, it was the first time we had visited Indian Pass, even though we had vacationed on Cape San Blas several times with our young children. In fact, our son and daughter were only 6 and 4 years old in 1982 when we first vacationed in the area. As we hiked through the oak trees, palmettos, and palms, and climbed the sand dunes near the beach, we were in awe of the beauty we beheld. It was like finding a secret hideaway, with beautiful natural vegetation, gently curving white sandy beaches, and a view of an uninhabited barrier island displaying a show of seabirds hunting their supper in the blue gulf waters. And, amazingly, that is the way it's been ever since...

The uniqueness of 'Starlight by the Sea' and Indian Pass can be summed up in a couple of words--family fun! It's a place where everyone, furry ones included, can relax, play, feel at home, and enjoy the quiet, pristine, natural beauty of the coast. We built 'Starlight by the Sea' in 1996, and our focus was to experience as much of the natural beauty of Indian Pass from all areas of the house, to be comfortable for all ages, from parents and grandparents to young children, and to accommodate our 4 legged family members as well. It has certainly fulfilled all our dreams for our family, and we think it can for yours as well.
