The property was an excellent choice for our family stay for the state swim meet. After the meet was over we enjoyed time by the lake ,kayaking and great restaurants just a few minutes away. The apartment had everything well kept and clean. Will stay again if state swim returns next year.

Lakeside Heaven!

I was in town to race jetskis, and stumbled upon this lakeside retreat. Beautiful lakefront landscape, great parking area, very clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Will definitely be back when I return to Guntersville!

Perfect Hideaway!!

Everything and I mean everything was excellent!!! Hideaway by the Lake was a home away from home. Easy booking, check-in and everything you could possibly need was available. The host Virginia was just amazing. We will be booking here again and soon!!

Stayed for a baseball weekend!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay! We were in town for a baseball tournament and this little hideaway was perfect for our family. The boys enjoyed the kayaks and fishing, my daughter even caught a turtle and was so excited. The place was super, super clean! It had absolutely everything we needed for our stay! The owners were so very nice and had great communication! We will definitely stay again the next time we are in town!

We loved the serene atmosphere and hospitality! Safe, clean location. The stove and the birdhouses were unexpected bonus points. Virginia and Jimmy are wonderful hosts and the neighbors are kind and friendly.

Excellent Stay right on the water

Great place. Perfect for our family of 4. Kayaks were greatly appreciated and we loved the quiet cove that the house is on. It is evident that the rental is well cared for and well stocked. We had a lovely stay. We were in town for our oldest sons baseball tournament in Albertville and it was just 15 mins to the fields. Being on the lake and kayaking around was a great option! We hope to be able to rent it next time we are back for a baseball tournament!

Simple elegance

The pictures do not do this property justice... you just have to see it in person. The open design is very welcoming, every detail from the molding to the linens is simply elegant. The colors are calming. I was more than impressed at the beauty of this hideaway. Everything you could need is provided. The patio area is very relaxing. We utilized the table outside for family game time. My teenage son didn't even complain about not playing video games which is a rating in itself! The hosts are amazing...complete privacy. And the lake is beautiful. Gazebo with swing by the lake. Grill and kayaks for your use. Amazing stay! We will be return guests!

Great stay for local baseball tournament

This is our second stay at this location. We love the waterfront location and especially the kayaks! Safe quiet place. Worked great for us as only 10 mins or less to Albertville's Sand Mountain baseball complex which was the purpose of our stay in the area.

Alabama trip

We loved it. It was everything we were looking for. Would definitely recommend the hide away. The apartment was very nice and the patio out side was the best not to mention the chairs by the water really enjoyed sitting out there thanks again for sharing with us.

Peaceful. Cozy. Immaculate. Don't miss out.

This is an absolutely immaculate one bedroom apartment in what I can only describe as an idyllic setting, surrounded by nothing but tall trees and water. This is one where the pictures truly don't do the property justice. It's like the owners sat down and made a list of anything someone could want in a little lakeside hideaway then just provided all of it, from Keurig cups to kayaks. You have your own full kitchen plus a washer and dryer, really nice patio furniture, even a porch swing. The perfect getaway. The owners are so easy to communicate with and check in is a snap. If this place is avaliable, look no further, just book it.
