Charming Renovated Cottage, 1/2 Mile From the Heart of Downtown Flagstaff

This fully remodeled historic home is located 1/2 mile from downtown Flagstaff, where you can enjoy dozens of restaurants, bars, shops & numerous events at Heritage square. The entire home was renovated & updated without losing any of the historic charm. There are three bedrooms, a master downstairs with a King bed, and two upstairs, each with a queen bed and sleeper sofa for extra guests. The two bathrooms (one attached to the downstairs master and one upstairs) each have heated floors. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer and all of your laundry needs, and a full kitchen with all the amenities of home, making it possible to cook whatever you desire! The front yard is on a beautiful tree lined street & has a large patio complete with table & chairs and a gas fire pit.

*During the summer months, we install window A/C units in the upstairs bedrooms, and a standing unit downstairs, which keep the house nice and cool.

Perfect home for a trip to Flagstaff. This home had all the extras that made it perfect. Plus was clean as a whistle. The kitchen was well stocked with even extras for cooking. We never sleep well away from home and our bed could not have been more comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Girls weekend in Flagg. House was perfect! It had everything we needed; extremely clean and well-maintained. We could walk downtown day or night. Great neighborhood also. I would recommend this house for sure!

Wonderful Flagstaff Home

We stayed for eight nights in this lovely cottage and found it to be a perfect place for relaxing, for remote work, and for walking to downtown shops and restaurants. There has been a great deal of attention given to details in decorating and equipping the house. Rooms are pretty and comfortable, and the kitchen is terrific for cooking. The neighborhood is also quite pleasant. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

Great spot in Flagstaff

House is charming with easy access to downtown and highways to explore the area around town. Kitchen is really well stocked! Check-in and communication were great.

GREAT HOME IN DOWNTOWN FLAGSTAA.

Wonderfully appointed home with all the attention to detail imaginable! On a corner lot next to a fairly busy street. Fortunately this home is totally soundproof. Only downside and disappointment was exterior/lot.

From booking to check out, everything was great! Clean house, spacious bedrooms and with everything we needed plus more. This house was also conveniently located centrally to all the locations we went. Very nice stay!

Recently remodeled good location

Overall the rental was great. Warm bathroom floors were great. Easy access to downtown Flagstaff from here. Property manager responded quickly to all queries. The only downside for us was the mattresses and pillows were way too soft... Felt like we sunk in.

Lovely home and great location

The house is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with a nice added touch of a basket of snacks. Great location in town. The owners are great to deal with, very responsive. We would stay there again.

Delightful Flagstaff Getaway

We really enjoyed our time in this property. While an older home, the interior has been very nicely decorated and is bright an airy. The owners thought of all the little extras that helped us ease right in including snacks, coffee, and a bottle of wine. It is about a 7-10 minute walk to the core of downtown and excellent restaurants. Highly recommended property.

Flagstaff holiday

As a family of 3, two adults and one 9yr old) we loved the property. The house is very charming, quiet and uncluttered. The outdoor space is pleasant even though it's on a corner lot. The back yard is shaded and private as well. We used the house as a base for seeing all the sights - Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Sunset Crater, Sedona and various national monuments. Thoroughly enjoyed our week!

Beautiful as advertised.

This is a beautifully remodeled and decorated home. It was just a short walk to downtown, as advertised. I was especially pleased with the well-stocked kitchen as I made breakfast and a special dinner for my family. Everything was brand new! When we had some trouble with the stove, the owner had someone there within a very short time time to check it out and help. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Comfortable Stay in Great Location

We enjoyed our stay in Savannah at this nicely appointed condo within walking distance of the historic district. We especially loved having dinner outside on the back patio! Parking was always easy to find, though it was a bit confusing about what to do on street sweeping night. The host company was prompt with answering our questions and helped us deal with a very unusual situation involving an item a previous guest had left behind. The beds were quite comfortable, and our only note is that the upstairs A/C struggles a bit in warmer weather as one might expect in an older house. The living spaces were also comfortable and the outside street was quiet, even on a Saturday night. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Wonderful Cottage

The Cottage is a terrific stay! Host Karen was quick to answer questions, and gracious in her responses. Check-in and check-out were easy and quick. The Cottage is cozy; it is so well-appointed that we anytime we thought "Wish we had a (fill in the blank)," we looked around and there it was! And special kudos for having empty space in the kitchen cabinets so we could keep our food & cooking gadgets separate from the Cottage's. The location is great, too -- very close to downtown (about 1/2 mile). We noticed some road traffic noise from the street that runs to the north of the corner lot, but the road the Cottage is on is tree-lined and very quiet. And it's far enough from the railroad that we barely heard the trains. We did need air conditioning on a few days. The portable AC downstairs and window units upstairs were adequate to the Flagstaff temps. Flagstaff is a great food town. We are particularly fond of Martanne's, Proper Meatery, Madrez!, Pizzacletta, Kokiyo, and Asian Station. Special mention, too, to the Flagstaff Aquaplex. Our grandsons loved it -- it is entertaining and relatively inexpensive. The Museum of Northern Arizona is a gem and a must-see before visiting the Grand Canyon. We would definitely stay at the Cottage again!

Nice stay

The house was very clean and nice inside. They really thought of all of the small details and they had most everything you need for a stay. One thing that I would tell you is that when the listing says air conditioning, it should say that there are 2 window units in the upstairs bedrooms. My husband and I ended up staying upstairs because the Primary bedroom was downstairs with no AC. Also, we wish the windows had the screens installed because the evenings would get pretty cool and having some windows open with screens might have helped. We did find an adjustable window screen in a closet that we could put in the primary bedroom where my son stayed. One last recommendation would be to have the AC units running before the renters checked in at 4 so that the house would not take as long to cool down before night time. The owner was very responsive to an issue with one of the AC units. Her daughter came and replaced it the very same day. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and we really appreciated the snacks, coffee/tea and all of the toiletries that were provided. I would recommend staying here but I just wanted to make sure the next renter knew things that we didn't realize.

Fantastic Beautifully Renovated Cottage

We loved this place! It was perfect for me, my teenage daughter and a few of her friends to enjoy a cool weekend in beautiful Flagstaff. Within walking distance of downtown - the girls walked around and explored all day, while I went hiking in Oak Creek Canyon with some friends. The house is beautiful, inside and out. The renovation, decoration and the furnishings were all tastefully done and everything was perfect. They had plenty of towels in the bathrooms, spices in the kitchen and games to keep us entertained in the evenings. Even though the weather was nice, we still appreciated the heated bathroom floors. :) And the house was actually bigger than it looked in pictures - with two bedrooms and bath upstairs and the master bed and bath downstairs it easily accommodated everyone. But best of all - Karen & Jay were outstanding hosts. There was plenty of communication before our trip so we knew exactly what to expect, and they even offered to come by at 9:30 at night to show us around and answer any questions we may have about the house and its amenities. Of course we took them up on the offer and enjoyed meeting them and learning about them and the house. Super nice! We definitely will come back next time we need to escape the Phoenix heat (or maybe to get a little skiing in).
