Impressive. Studio is very nice and behind a gate. Very clean and very cozy, everything you need is at the unit..our host Iris is very honest and made sure our stay was impeccable..I recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay close to the airport or San Juan..Thank you Iris.. be back soon!

Great place tobstay in a quiet neighborhood

This was a fabulous property in a safe neighborhood that is convenient to many tourist attractions in the area.

Property itself was clean and convenient. Neighborhood was combination of more taken care of properties and some lots that seemed in need of care. Great to have off street parking. Beds clean but sagged in middle a bit. Perfect for what we needed- a quick one night stay.

Quiet and accommodating

Area was very quiet. Close to stores and pharmacies and easy easy entrance to freeways no matter where you're going, we'll definitely use again

We were grateful for a place to rest fot the night after a late flight and late check-in! The accommodations were warm and inviting, however, there were used items from previous guests in the refrigerator (olives, butter, hot sauce, sugar, coffee filters) that left the possibility of contamination. The bed sheets in the bag on the shelf were sandy. The bathroom rug looked like it wasn't changed and there were long strands of black hair on the shower walls and sketchy stains on the side of the mattress topper behind the futon. I was charged extra $16 after early 10:30am check-out. Why?

Clean and plenty of comfortable space for 2 adults and 2 teens. They had basic supplies available which was nice. Excellent communication from owner. Only drawback is you can hear the airplanes overhead but we still slept well, it's not too loud.

The host, Iris was extremely communicative and nice. The ac and water are fine it was fine we did have like 2 cold showers at some point but everything was great. I would stay here again the location was great and safe which was my biggest worry.

These are a few of the things that would've improved my experience at this place: 1. Use a lockbox or a door lock with code instead of hiding the keys. 2. Fix the front door locks. The door locks did not align with the holes in the door frame. This was a major frustration. 3. Fix the living room light and ceiling fan. They did not turn on. 4. Provide sheets, blankets, and pillows for the pull-out sleeper sofa. We were counting on using this pull-out sleeper but unfortunately it was just a mattress with no cover protector. 5. Clean the accumulated dust in the bathroom decorative shelves.

Exactly What We Needed.

Our host Iris was reachable and communicative from the initial booking through our arrival and during our stay, She gave us detailed differentiated instructions that included graphics. If we did not understand the words communicated in English we had pictures to follow. She responded to our calls immediately and advised us when what we planned to do fell through. The studio was exactly as the pictures showed, and was also warm, and welcoming. We met Iris on the third day of our stay and she gave us a full tour of her beautiful property which has 3 other suites. The property is in a quiet residential community with beautiful homes and some needing work as in any community. We found our bathroom stocked with all the essentials and then some, We felt very safe staying in the area which was extremely quiet even during the day. We were not the only occupants during our stay but we neither heard nor saw anyone during our stay except once when they were having coffee in the backyard. This worked for us as what we needed most was to be able to rest at night uninterrupted. Restaurants and beaches were just a 5-minute drive. This would definitely not be the place for those who love the hustle and bustle of a city but was perfect for us. When we return to Puerto Rico we will be staying with Iris once she is able to accommodate us. Thank you Iris for an amazing stay.

Our stay in Carolina

Our stay at this VRBO was a good stay. The photos are accurate. We had three issues: 1. Frosted glass was used for the shower. When you are taking a shower everyone in the room is able to see your silhouette as you shower. I traveled with my 23 and 16yo sons. We each had to shower without lights because it was awkward. 2. The tv. We didn’t know how to change the station. No Netflix. We had HBO Max, that’s it. My sons didn’t know how to change the tv and that says a lot. 3. The kitchen faucet. Be careful turning it on because it will fiercely shoot water at you before it streams. It was a nice neighborhood, we felt safe. The bed was comfy. The couch not so much. I like how there was a locked gate, too. Communication was good and very responsive. I will say I did not address the three issues with the owner. I didn’t think 1 and 3 could be changed and didn’t want to make a big deal about #2’s issue. Overall it was a good stay for 4 nights.

Bait and switch

I clearly stated we were arriving from the airport at 2 am on Jan 4th on a chat with the host . I asked her how to get there from the airport at 1:30 am. She replied UBER. When we arrived there were no keys. The host Iris came ot put us in a different unit.(ours was occupied) This is after traveling 20hours. The whole experience was extremely embarrassing as well as insulting. We were told there would be an additional charge for cleaning and we would not be able to get the place we paid for until 3pm that afternoon. Due to the level of insult and embarrassment we left in the morning and found other accommodations. To be fair I did not understand that to stay the night of Jan 4th I needed to reserve the day of Jan 3rd. Iris the host knew the whole deal went bad. on Jan 20th Iris final asked me what are my thoughts." I responded asking for a full refund. After texting her on Jan 21,24,25,29,Feb 3rd, Mar 10th,11th,and 16th and no reply. I spoke with her just now 3/18/24 and she would offer no refund.
