Lost River Retreat är omgiven av otrolig utsikt. Beläget i Shotgun Subdivision precis vid Old Shotgun Road i Island Park, ID. På sommaren kan du koppla av på de stora rymliga däcken och bli förvånad av det underbara landskapet. När du tittar mot norr ser du Centennial Mountain Range och till sydöstra ser du Grand Teton Mountains. Det finns en utomhusgrill för smaskiga middagar och en privat badtunna på bottenryggen.

Det stora rummet har stora golv till takfönster för att njuta av utsikten ännu mer medan du kopplar av. Det finns bekväma lädermöbler i hela lodgen och du kommer att se rustika trävedstämningar för att skapa känslan av en rustik Yellowstone-upplevelse. Deluxe-köket har vackra bänkskivor i granit, apparater i rostfritt stål och alla bekvämligheter i hemmet. Matbordet har sex platser med ett extra mindre bord med fyra platser med fler sittplatser vid köksbänken. Sovrummet på huvudnivån ligger precis utanför köket och det gemensamma badrummet för dem som är funktionshindrade eller för familjemedlemmar som har svårare att klättra trappor. På övervåningen finns två futons, ett privat sovrum med en king size-säng.

Bottenvåningen har tre privata sovrum med en dubbelsäng i varje rum, ett gemensamt badrum i full storlek och mycket bekvämt familjerum. Det finns också en privat badtunna på baksidan uteplats av promenad ut källaren. Det är nu täckt för att skydda våra gäster från dåligt väder.

Road trip stop 3

This was such a great location and the space was what we needed after being stuck in the car for a 9 hour drive. Check in process was super easy and if we had questions they got back to us pretty quickly.

The place was easy to access with our GPS and their directions. Pros the place was very clean, and we had plenty space for the family. The kitchen had all that we needed to cook with. The views are beautiful. Plenty of towels, toilet paper and soaps for us to use.ConsThe refrigerator wasn't super cold. The hot tub has a very strong smell of chemicals.

Great for Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

Great home. The road in is bumpy but I was in a mini van and it was no problem. My stay was in August. Winter vacations could necessitate 4 wheel drive. The upstairs was a bit warm, but not unbearable. There are plenty of box fans and also individual heaters were noted in bedroom closets although there is central heat. I brought a lot things I ended up not needing as the home was well stocked with necessities especially towels. I didn’t need to contact property manager so I gave 5 stars. The parking area has a lot of grit (typical for the area). I would suggest taking something to wipe your feet on before getting in your vehicles (like one of those shoe cleaner with bristles) Or a hand held vacuum.

Poor Communication and not clean

Old candy in the bed, Dead bugs, and no ice maker. Holes in screens so couldn’t open windows in some bedrooms and it got hot. Text property multiple times but nothing fixed

Great amount of space for a family

We stayed with our extended family and the amount of space was great. The loft was pretty hot in the midst of the warmest part of the year. I can image this would be a great spot for a winter retreat.

Over all very satisfied. Little could have been better but not enough to be a deal breaker. IE the lock box for the key was old and didn’t work easily. We eventually learned its idiosyncrasies but it took us quite a while the fist couple of times. Would be nice just to replace it

Great Stay

I think the unit looked better in person than in photos. It was very spacious and very clean. The kitchen had what we needed. The wrap around balcony views were great. The distances from west yellowstone is a bit of a drive, but manageable during our 3 night stay. I'd stay again.

Lost River Retreat is a TREAT

Our family vacation that included 7 adults at Lost River Retreat was AMAZING. The proximity to so many outdoor adventures was a welcome change to crowded hotels, campsites or RV parks. The bedroom were all situated nicely to allow us to have our personal space. The Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook practically every night. The hot tub was used every night for a nice relaxing end to the day and the sunsets and sunrises were stunning. Well done on this cabin and location!

Peaceful location with beautiful views

Loved our stay. Loved how the neighborhood wasn't on top of each other. Such Beautiful views of the Mountains and pastures with a great big wrap around porch! kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. Comfortable beds and a relaxing hot tub to soak in! 45 min drive to Yellowstone. Just wished the wrap around porch had chairs/porch swings to hang out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Made great memories

We only had four in our group so several beds were never slept in, but the ones we did use were very comfortable. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the place was in very good order. The location was initially a concern being a little further from West Yellowstone, but the drive in is beautiful and you really don’t even notice a few extra minutes at the start and finish of the day. We want to come back here for sure, saw a big black bear last night just a few miles away!

Family Fun!

We went to Island Park/Yellowstone to social distance and enjoy family. This cabin was perfect for us and we loved the location. The cabin was stocked well and was comfortable for us. We loved the hot tub! The area was quiet and great for walking and relaxing.
