Welcome to the "Front Street Cottage". This charming period home is comfortably nestled in the heart of the downtown Georgetown historic district. Upon entering the front door you are greeted into a comfortable living room. A bedroom to the left features twin beds with beautiful bedding. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed and is located mid house to ensure for a good nights sleep. A bright spacious kitchen with gas range and more awaits you! Dine at the breakfast bar or in the dining area that features great lighting thru a wall of windows. One full bath and a half bath also make up the space. Need to do laundry? You will also find a nice laundry room. Other rooms include a small quaint office and a downstairs mudroom that lead to the backyard.
This property is located within walking distance to shopping and dining, jogging trails, kayak launch and boat landing. 15 minutes to the North and you will find the beaches of Pawleys Island. 1 hour south is Charleston SC. Don't miss our local museums, tours, and more! Welcome to Georgetown!

Very Cute & Convenient for a Getaway

The house was a great place to stay. Nice hardwood floors and antique furniture, really felt like someone's home and not a cheply firnished money venture like other places I've stayed. It was incredibly convient to walk down Front St and be downtown with cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants in minutes. Front St is also a lovely walk with massive live oaks that are filled with reserection fern. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay in Georgetown

Loved this cute cottage on a beautiful residential street in the historic area of Georgetown. 10 minute walk to town for restaurants and shopping, 10 minute walk to the park with a dog park that our pup enjoyed and Pawleys Island and Huntington State Park are a short drive away for beach days. Host was quick to respond to any questions/issues.

Decor very nice and comfortable lovely art work no soap, paper towels no paper napkins front porch furniture very dirty wet towels in washer No dishwasher soap no laundry detergent no toiletries. Great location. Thank you

Perfect Location to See Georgetown (But Not Ideal for Boats)

My husband and his parents went down to Georgetown for the weekend. The house is as cute as a button. Personally, I would have preferred two bedrooms with queen sized beds (but we knew the 2nd bedroom was 2 twins which was accurate, before booking). I love old homes - and this is an older home in an established neighbourhood. It's very well maintained. The front porch swing was beautiful. I love the porch. Having 1.5 bathrooms was a HUGE plus, especially when it's more than just 1 couple occupying the house. The kitchen was nice. It was clean. A few things. Bring paper towels. We use 'em - there wasn't any onsite. No biggie - just if you want 'em bring 'em! If you have a boat you will have issues. We have an 18 foot bay boat and trailer and what the picture doesn't show is there is a steep upgrade before the laneway levels off. The laneway is long, and you could park multiple vehicles, however - it was a major challenge to get the boat off the street and we were told parking a boat/trailer on the street would get us towed. This house IS ideal for a couples weekend away. It is truly walking distance to downtown. It's close to the water as well. There are a LOT of pluses to this home. I truly enjoyed the neighbourhood, the architecture, the more than 1 bathroom, the various areas to spread out (living room, plus an interesting room on the back). If we weren't planning on fishing and were just looking to relax - this place is perfect! Clean, character!

Quaint house

Wedding weekend!

The location is perfect for enjoying the historic district of Georgetown. Walking distance to all of our chosen wedding venues was easy and convenient! Host Kevin is known as Mr. Georgetown possessing a wealth of knowledge and ideas for our friends’ stay. This is a must repeat stay for any future trips to beautiful Georgetown.

Great Property

Really neat house within walking distance of every in the Front Street area of Georgetown. Park the car & forget about it. The house & surrounding properties are full of history. If you are a couple or small family this is the ideal property to explore Georgetown. Pawley’s Island is not far away if you’re looking for a beach.

Wonderful historic home and neighborhood!

The home was so nice, peaceful neighborhood and so clean. We had everything needed in the home. Great location to walk to quant Georgetown with many excellent restaurants, harbor walk and many shops.
