Om boendet

Welcome to downtown Historic Georgetown SC. This wonderful "newer" construction features a lovely front porch, gas fireplace, primary suite, sunroom and fabulous great room on the first floor. Upstairs you will find 3 more bedrooms and small den area. One room is a bunk room that sleeps four! We are located within walking distance to downtown where you will find fabulous shopping and dining, historic tours ( Don't miss Swamp Fox Tours!) and venues for weddings and other events. We are located 1 hour to Charleston or Myrtle Beach. Our local beach is Pawleys Island that has miles of white sand! We are also located about 20 minutes from Brookgreen Gardens. We hope that you will enjoy your stay! Our home has been a VRBO property since 2016. Best, Kevin

Accommodating bus lacking a few essentials

Location and bedroom / bathrooms arrangement was very good. Lacking a few items - toaster, coffee cups, hand towels, dish towels. Overall was really nice and would go back. .

The Classic

The place was beautiful and very close to town. It was very clean, in a great location, and had space for all 6 adults. Kevin was great too and responded to our questions almost immediately. If you’re planning a trip to Georgetown, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect for our daughters wedding in Georgetown

We loved staying at this beautiful home for our daughter’s wedding weekend in Georgetown. We had the bridal party get ready there Saturday morning and had the photographer and videographer comment how beautiful the home was. We can’t wait to see the pictures. Kevin was wonderful to communicate with. Thank you for everything!

A gracious home - walkable to everything

This home is lovely and the location cannot be beat - we highly recommend this VRBO. Georgetown has the most charming historic district, a town center with restaurants and great shops (recommend the Blue Bayou Bistro and the Rice Museum shop). The host is wonderful, easy to communicate with and very accommodating to requests. We will be back.

Perfect house with lots of room. Fenced in yard is great for pets.

Great rental location but disappointing...

While cosmetically the house looked fine and the space was what we had expected for our 9 person, three day, family reunion, I have to rate this property a 2 out of 5. There are serious issues with this property that should be corrected before it is offered for new rental. The most serious issue is Black mold in closets upstairs and Black mold around HVAC vents upstairs. These problems must be corrected immediately for the safety of future renters. There are also several things that need to be fixed: Bathroom fan broke in hall bath upstairs, Drain blocked in upstairs hall bathtub, Refrigerator does not make ice, HVAC vents are very dirty, Dryer does not work as it is blocked with lint and No dressers in any bedrooms. Additional items to address include: Not enough coffee mugs for a house for 9 people, Single cup Keurig is inadequate for a 9 person house and no toaster. It was also an unpleasant surprise to find an Industrial size dumpster in the side yard, We should have been warned in advance that we would have this eyesore 30 feet from front door. The space itself was comfortable to sleep and dine and the location was wonderful, as we could walk to downtown Georgetown. The host was quick to respond to our many questions and concerns about the property.
