1. We were very disappointed in the condition of the unit.i.e. The condition of the carpeting - stained, dirty looking2. I understood the chalet was to be a pet-friendly unit but the additional 150 pet fee I was charged was not warranted considering the condition.3. The toilet in the rear of the unit continuously would not flush and continued to require plunging to prevent overflowing. (for example, the next morning after maintenance visited, required plunging again)4.The exterior of the chalet was extremely filthy or degraded. Chairs and table on the decking appeared to be covered in mold or mildew and other debris.5. Many other minor items, like the knob in the bathroom under the sink broken/unattached, German cockroach crawling in kitchen, shelf over stove very sticky, front door sticking open and close, and uncomfortable interior temperature upon arrival (40 degrees), etc. If this unit was scheduled to be renovated next month, a notice of the condition & a reduced rate should have been offered. We chose to stay at your location through VRBO because of proximity to the locations we were planning to visit as well as being comfortable in a home away from home. I do not live in a home in that condition and frankly would be embarrassed to have friends stay with me. Needless to say I was embarrassed when my friends arrived.We loved the area & the staff that we interacted with were great.
