Charming old house of 107m², with lots of character and history. In the beautiful and green corfiote country side, at 1.7 km from the sea. Cafés, supermarket and restaurant just opposite the house. Very big veranda and nice garden available. House full of light, and a style that sends you back in time. Ceiling fans in every room, washing machine and dish-washer with cleaning products offered. If you like houses that "tell stories" you will not be disappointed.

A charming stay in the middle of a lively and authentic corfiot village

We booked in the last minute this charming apartment situated on the second floor of a charming and authentic corfiot house which is in the middle of a small but lively village in the middle of the southern part of the island. The communication with Stellina went very smoothly and it was very easy to find the house event in midnight as it is situated in the very center of the village Stroggily, on the main street, just next to the local taverna and opposite the local cafe (pub). The place attracted us as it offers 3 separate charming bedrooms and all the necessary facilities for a modern house-keeping, which are necessary for a family with 3 kids. We spent there 10 days and every day we could go to a different beach on the east or on the west coast of the island each one to be reached within 15 min by car. A cleaning lady came to change the bed-sheets and towels and to clean the apartment once at the end of the first week of our stay which was highly appreciated! The first couple of days we were kind of disturbed by the noise of the passionate disputes of the locals sitting in the pub till after midnight as all the bedrooms are overlooking directly the scene of events. Afterwards, however, we got used to it as it is a part of the village and the natural way of life of the people there. The Spyros taverna just on the right hand side of the house offers warm welcome and good music on Friday nights which we enjoyed from the large and gorgeous veranda of the apartment with a magnificent view to the surrounding hills. All the apartment is bathed in the aromas of the large jasmine bush which covers the front yard and leaves unforgettable odoric memories. The heart and the real gem of the house however are Stellina's grand parents who live on the ground floor. We will long remember their warm attitude and big-heartedness. A big thank you!

Die besondere Unterkunft mit Charme und fernab vom Touristentrubel!

Wer das Leben auf Korfu richtig spüren und erleben will, wer die Menschen die hier leben kennenlernen möchte und eine Unterkunft fernab vom 0815 Touri-Trubel sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Die Ferienwohnung liegt mitten im Dorf Strogyli direkt neben Spiros Traverne (hier gibt es richtig gute traditionelle griechische Küche und handgemachtes Olivenöl, und Freitags bei der griechischen Nacht singt der Sohn Alexandro, der Besuch lohnt sich!!!), die Wohnung ist im ersten Stock und ist sehr geräumig. Die 3 Schlafzimmer sind individuell gestaltet und die alten Möbel verleihen der Wohnung einen ganz besonderen Charme. Jedes Zimmer erzählt eine eigene Geschichte und steckt voller Details. Von der schönen Terrasse hat man einen Blick ins Grüne. Im EG wohnen die Großeltern, so liebevolle und herzliche Gastgeber, die uns mit Tomaten, Auberginen aus dem Garten beschenkt haben! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und haben ganz besondere Erlebnisse hier gehabt. Von unserer Wohnung haben wir die ganze Insel erkunden können, die Distanzen sind von hier aus nicht zu weit. Den Norden werden wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch noch genauer besichtigen, in 11 Tagen haben wir nicht alles gesehen und natürlich kommen wir wieder und natürlich werden wir wieder bei Stellina und ihren Großeltern wohnen:-)!!!

Si vous cherchez une maison de caractère et authentique, vous êtes à la bonne adresse. Nous avons occupé le 1er étage d’une maison de village , bien située à 10mn de la plage en voiture . Les habitants sont chaleureux et avenants .Bonne communication avec la propriétaire et de nombreuses petites attentions sur place. Nous avons eu le plaisir également de goûter les fruits et légumes du jardins :).
