THE BATHROOMS
- Bathroom 1 the hall bathroom has a stand alone shower, vanity with single sink, hair dryer, and linen closet

OUTDOOR LIVING
The covered front porch and spacious covered back patio have ample seating, which creates the perfect setup for hours of playing games together, watching sports, or just visiting with loved ones. There is a professional, full-size gas/charcoal grill to make BBQing a breeze. The fenced in backyard allows for kids and pets to safely roam and play while not being able to wander off into the surrounding woods. Our gazebo, wired to be able to support a full band also has a sun deck on the uncovered top tier. And take it from us, belting out your favorite tunes will not result in disgruntled neighbors. The trees do a wonderful job of muffling your fun.

GAMES + FUN
This house comes with all of the fun + competition. From bikes to fire-pits we've got something for everyone. Indoor, you can find a combo pingpong/pool table, an old school Pacman, a full-size poker table, and all of the board games your heart desires. As well as puzzles and coloring supplies for the kids. In the closet on the back porch you can find plenty of toys to get the crew out in the Alabama sunshine like Bocci, croquet, cornhole, fishing gear, and beach toys for the little ones. PETS
Dogs are welcome on a *case-by-case basis* with a $300 nonrefundable fee. Please reach out to the Property Manager for approval of pets.
Dogs *must* be kenneled when you are away from the house or kept outside. Kennels can be provided upon request. Old blankets and towels can be found in the laundry room above the washer. Drop cloths to protect the patio furniture from wet dogs can be found in the porch closet. Please pick-up after your pet. Bags and pooper scooper are provided by the back door.

Great Stay!

This was a great, well-located property. The yard area was perfect for our kids to run around. Everything was well-stocked and as described. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy.

Great beach vacation spot

We loved the home and location, and we would definitely stay again! The property is well maintained and had great information for "out-of-towners." We got to walk along the bay, visit the town, and Gulf Shores is only 50 minutes away. Would highly recommend!

Family Vacation

The property was lovely and perfect for our needs! We are recent empty nesters who came to town for a wedding. Our young adult children were all able join us for a few days of family time. The house was perfect for our needs. The game room, grill, and location were just wonderful.

Awesome Eastern Shore Experience

This was a great property. We loved the proximity to Fairhope and all the charm that is in that great little town. The property is well apportioned with everything we needed and we had plenty of room for our extended families to be comfortable and reconnect. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will stay again!

This house was perfect for our group!

We had a great stay at the Scenic House! We had a group of 9 people - 2 families with some adult children and teens. The game room was perfect for the young people and all the living space was plentiful. The kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the porch and the fenced-in yard. Would love to stay again!

Family vacation

Awesome house that was obviously just remodeled. Extra amenities in all areas, kitchen, bath areas, beautiful furniture and vintage rugs, teal paintings, ping pong table, poker table, fenced in backyard, and on and on. Great location to the public beach, infamous Fairhope shopping and restaurants. We will definitely come again!

Great for extended family

Our family came from CA & TX for a wedding at the Grand Hotel. This was a great property for our toddler grandchildren and our preteen niece. They had plenty of safe and secure play areas with the fenced backyard, the gazebo and large covered porch. The inside rooms were large enough for additional family to join us for lunch and dinner. The property was very clean and well maintained and nicely decorated.

College buddies annual gathering

We are a bunch of college buddies C'82 who gather every year around this time. We need lots of bedrooms because we are not couples. Fairhope is great. Wish the house was walkable to town. Very nice house. Kitchen well outfitted. We really enjoyed ourselves. The fenced back yard was great for my dog.

This property was everything and more than we expected!

For a group of 10 Christian women on a retreat the house was great - we even managed two bathrooms just fine. The grounds were beautiful and a sidewalk offered an opportunity to walk the tree lined Scenic highway. The downtown was close and easy to drive to. Restaurants had great food and stores with lots of beautiful items. The house offered a sizable kitchen. It was equipped with lots of extras: espresso machine, Berkey Water Filter, and spices. There were TVs in every room, and plenty of beautiful and spacious sitting areas and large game room. We would definitely return to this property.

Wonderful Experience

The property was beyond our expectations. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was how clean and well taken care of it was inside and out. One thing I noticed was the lack of insects and spiderwebs around the outside areas. There were no signs of bugs anywhere, which is no small feat considering all of the wonderful outdoor areas the property offers. There were so many things the property owners thought of that made the stay so much nicer, such as the water purification system in the kitchen, as well as the espresso maker. Everyone especially loved the game room and fire pit. The location is wonderful, too. I can't say enough! The only negative thing we encountered was the tv streaming service. We had some issues logging in, but it didn't cause enough problems to ask the manager. If we had asked, I know it would have been quickly rectified. We were too busy enjoying everything else! We would definitely stay again!

Two generations of family have put love and care into this wonderful 1945 home. Our family has lived in Fairhope for three decades and after outgrowing and selling our family home in Fairhope Proper, it didn't take long to realize that we all desperately missed having a family hub on the Eastern Shore.

Finding and renovating The Scenic House has given our family such excitement and we are so happy share this remarkable town and property with all of our guests. What we enjoy most when we gather at The Scenic House is playing hours of dominos on the back porch- rain or shine. We hope The Scenic House will give you similar fond memories.

Molly is the Property Manager for The Scenic House and will be there to assist with check-in and will help with any issues, questions, rentals, and emergencies. Molly is also a Fairhope native with roots going generations back so she truly knows all of the local secrets.
