The Log Cabin, a licensed 'inn', is located in lush and peaceful Ahualoa, just an 8 minute drive up the mountain from historic Honokaa town. The Log Cabin is a great setting for families, groups, weddings or other special events.
You can enjoy a stroll around the yard or a walk in the area. Apparently, one of Lance Armstrong's favorite routes goes past the Log Cabin. One can see why, it is just beautiful and naturally diverse.

Aloha! We are a family of five who love to take vacation in different exciting places. We enjoy hiking, riding bikes, swimming, snorkeling and adrenaline rush adventures. The Log Cabin is in a cool, lush and quiet mountain agriculture community about 8 minutes up the mountain from Honokaa.
It is 21 minutes from the must see Waipi'o Valley and within 45 minutes of the Kohala Coast which has some of the most beautiful beaches on the island (and the world). It is also 1 hour from Hilo and 1 hour 15 minutes from Kona and Kona International Airport.
There are a variety of plants growing on the property and around the property including avocado trees, mango trees, orchids, bird of paradise, âhapuâ u fern, ti leaf plants, hibiscus, anthuriums, bromeliads, camellias, palapalaâi fern, amau fern, raspberries, ylang-ylang tree, fig tree, citrus tree and bamboos.
Additionally, Doug, the caretaker of the property, will be available as needed. We also have an on island property concierge available as needed.

Exotic birds, frogs, pheasants, turkeys, wild goats and pigs can be seen around the Ahualoa area and the surrounding agricultural community.
