Hidden in the trees this 3-bedroom 2- bath offers the rustic feel of a log home with all the elegance and amenities necessary for a great time. This home offers 27ft windows for a view of the Valley, Coburg Hills and on the 4th of July fireworks across the valley. It has three decks, two on the front side, one offering a waterfall and pond. One on the backside for Cigars and Cognac. The back deck also has the BBQ. There is a common area Living room for adult conversation with a floor to ceiling rock fire place. Upstairs is a 900 sq ft loft with a fireplace and the 55inch smart TV. The loft is also fully stocked with all the children’s toys and a pull out bed for the 4th sleeping area.

Check in was super easy. They had home made chocolate chip cookies waiting for us upon our arrival!House felt like home; was beautiful with lots of extra comfort touches to make our stay really relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could think of needing to cook and/or bake. The back deck with waterfall and view was beautiful!!!

Amazing home!

We had such a lovely time in this beautiful, clean, spacious home for UO graduation. Kelly let us check in a couple hours ahead of normal check in when our flight arrived early in the day. The outside area is peaceful and comfy. There are extras like cookies and plenty of paper supplies. It was convenient to have laundry available. The shower in the master is amazing! We would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you for your hospitality!

Great cabin for Thanksgiving

We spent four night here during Thanksgiving week. House was very clean and decorated for the holiday/season. Owner was very communicative and quick to reply, but we didn’t need anything during our stay. The view was amazing at all hours of the day or night and we took advantage of the fireplace every day we were there. Shower in the master bedroom was amazing. Will definitely stay again when in Eugene/Springfield.

Amazing experience, home and hosts

What an amazing experience this home and the hosts offer. We spent the majority of our time just staying onsite enjoying the log home with its tranquil valley and sunset views from multiple decks and sitting areas. Among the many other pleasurable features are the waterfall, BBQ facilities, the extensive interior seasonal (autumn) decor throughout, the unexpected treats and little surprises provided. The property is exceptionally clean. The hosts go above expectation and truly show a lot of pride and love throughout their home. Truly a blessing they offer to share their home with us.

Another Great Family Getaway

Perfect location for our family to all stay together - my son’s family who live in Eugene and my daughter’s family who live in Texas. A great base to tour north, south, east and west Oregon.

Don’t hesitate - not to be missed!

Let me begin by saying that the pictures don’t do this place justice. Beyond serene and peaceful. Our group of 8 was in town for a wedding and were running errands the majority of the time, but I plan to return to this slice of heaven when we have more time to relax and explore the area. Host had everything anyone could need and so many delightful extras from bedside chocolates to welcome cookies and fresh scones and champagne on arrival! Host was able to accommodate last minute early check in due to floral delivery timing change. All beds very comfy, including the pullout sofa bed. Well stocked kitchen. Three separate, large deck areas with gorgeous forest and city views to accommodate hanging out as a family and getting some alone time. We never felt cramped here. Large dining table to accommodate large group. This posh log home was one of the best places we’ve stayed to date!

House with a view

We had a wonderful time. The house was awesome with a really nice view of Springfield and the valley. We were just minutes from everything we needed. One thing to note though, the driveway was steep and not paved. Very Oregon :) but not something I would want to drive a sports car or high end luxury car up. If we can get the kids all together again we will definitely come back.

Beautiful Log Cabin

Our group of three sisters and husbands absolutely loved this log cabin in the woods! There were comfy places to sit out front or in back on the spacious deck overlooking the woods and the town below! Sunsets were absolutely stunning and a great place to hang out after hiking and sightseeing. The house had everything we needed to cook our meals or to just hang out! The Hosts even had cookies and candy as a welcoming gift!! Thanks for a great time!

Outstanding home near Springfield, OR

We had the best stay at this home! Our daughter was graduating from U of O, and this property was so central, but yet you felt it was away from everything. The home and grounds were beautiful, and the house itself was perfectly equipped for our group of eight. This is definitely top of the list of our VRBO stays/accommodation - everything was truly perfect for our special occasion ❤️

The property was beautiful, the home had everything our family of nine needed to relax, enjoy and create wonderful memories with family members who haven't seen one another in years. Some of which, it was their first-time visiting Oregon as well as traveling away from the Hawaiian Islands, this home brought us all together in one place. Good food, good fun with a spectacular view. The cigar area was perfect for those who smoke and the front patio area with furniture made a great separation for the non-smokers in the family. We had such a great time; our family and friends of the family are looking to reserve this home for another, or first-time vacation experience stay. Mahalo to Kelly and Ohana for memories we will never forget.

Such a lovely family holiday stay!

K+K's cabin was perfect for our family to gather for Thanksgiving and the Rivalry Series game (civil war) at UO. Even better than the home and beautiful peak location was the hospitality--a beautiful table set for Thanksgiving dinner and delicious (and huge) cookies and muffins to welcome our family. We had 2 parents and 4 young adults and were very comfortable downstairs and in the loft. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with every dish and pan that we could need for our far away from home Thanksgiving. I highly recommend this wonderful home and host !

Girls night

We LOVE this place! I stayed here for a friendsgiving and it was so amazing I had to bring my girlfriends back for a phenomenal girls weekend! The house itself is so beautiful, the attention to detail here is above and beyond. The beds are extremely comfortable and the living room is the perfect spot to chill and feel the warmth of the wood stove. Oh and the view A+. In 1994 we took on the building of this home without a kit. We peeled the logs, placed the logs and did all the finish work. We love all the memories this home has brought. At one time it served as a business to provide "High Tea" to many people. We raised two boys, who now have given us 8 grandchildren. We love to spend time on the deck looking over the valley listening to the waterfall and relaxing. When we are adventurous we love to travel. Mostly tropical places. At Christmas the entire house is decorated. We have collected over 300 Nutcracker (no they all don't go out) but Christmas is truly special here. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we have. If there is anything we can do to make it better we welcome your feedback.
