Nestled in a secluded and serene setting, it features an open concept kitchen and family room with antique wood beams from an old Guilford barn. Plus its 4 large bedrooms, sizeable closets w/ built-ins, mushroom wood lined walls, two-story fieldstone fireplace, reading loft that overlooks the living room, pool room, 8- person hot tub, large backyard and ample outdoor parking makes for a perfect blend of rustic and modern style. Centrally located to New Haven, Branford and Guilford's exquisite markets, shoreline beaches (9 min)and major attractions, this home is the perfect getaway for guests looking to unwind.

Amazing House

Our group stayed here for a wedding the next day. There was a total of 8 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us . Everything in the house was amazing , the house was so big we thought we might get lost. Kisha was very quick to respond and even left the fridge stocked with a few essentials for us. The hot tub was perfect and used almost all night. We would def stay here again.

Fun rustic getaway near the city

I stayed here with a total of 8 adults. The place was very rustic and fun to explore. The yard area had a hot tub, and plenty of space to hang out. Having more than 8 adults would require using air mattresses or sleeping on the couch, but for the 8 of us it was perfect. It’s close to new haven and also to the beach nearby. The hosts even went out of their way to get us some fire logs for the fire pit when we expressed interest. Overall it was a great stay!

My husband and I have been married for 5 years and we own a couple of homes in CT. I am a RN who is currently studying for my doctorate in nursing and my husband works for the Metro North Railroad. Our family includes our children and our 2 labradoodles- Buster and Wilma.

This large secluded rustic home in North Branford with natural stone and exposed reclaimed beams, which includes a loft area, fireplace, sky lights, and 4 spacious bedrooms with access to a hot tub/spa offers the best of both worlds! Renters can stay at the house and bar-b-que, listen to music & use the large backyard for outdoor games- all in seclusion or sightsee, as the home is minutes to New Haven, Guilford, Branford and Madison attractions, ie. Bishop's Orchards, museums, beaches, parks, trails, art galleries, wineries and fabulous restaurants!

The house is 3200 sq ft. and sits on ~1 acre of land nestled in a serene Vermont-like setting that is very private; neighbors while present, are not a stone throw away. Also the scenery and location attracts & provides an opportunity to watch a beautiful array of birds throughout the spring and summer months.
