We booked 3 non-smoking rooms with 2 queens beds in each room to attend SEMA. We booked months in advance. This was for 6 people and required seperate sleeping accommodations for all 6 people. When we checked in. They did not have any of the 3 rooms available. They offered to upgrade our rooms. We were asked to pay extra for the upgraded rooms. We could not get the upgraded rooms without paying the extra charges. The only upgraded rooms available each had a single king size bed. They offered to bring in fold up beds into the upgraded rooms to help accommodate. We asked to speak to management to help resolve the issue. Management handled the situation unprofessionally and disrespectfully. The management member was disrespectful not only to us but to their own front desk employee. The manager treated the front desk employee incredibly disrespectful and ended up making her cry in front of our entire group. The crying front desk employee was not offered a break to help calm themselves down. Instead the management team member then had the crying front desk employee finish checking us in. We eventually were given 2 rooms with a king size bed and 1 room with 2 queen beds. Then we were inform we could check with the front desk the next day to see if our original rooms were available. This situation reflects incredibly poorly not only on the D but Vrbo as well. We would expect more customer service from 2 service based businesses.
