Beautifully refinished Silo house on pristine Litchfield Hills estate! The house features antique furnishings and great artwork throughout!

Guests have access to the entire 170+ acre property which features a covered bridge, beautifully manicured landscape and breathtaking views. In the warmer months guests can enjoy swimming and kayaking in our private pond.

On the ground floor you will enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen, a large open living room, a separate seating area with tv, a half bathroom, pellet stove, and a large back patio with seating for four and propane grill.

The second floor boasts a king-sized bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other. The spacious full bath includes a large soaking tub.

High-end finishes throughout the house, beautiful hardwood floors, exposed beams and comfortable seating make this a truly unique space!

Idyllic Setting in the Litchfield Hills

My family and I spent a lovely 4 days at this splendid and unique property which included an evening in the Silo House and three in the Saltbox across the road. Both houses were stunningly furnished and appointed with every conceivable amenity one could desire. As wonderful as they were, the 160 acres of bucolic countryside that they sit on are truly gorgeous. Getting away from work for a few days and immersing ourselves in the trails, scenery, gardens, and pond was truly rejuvenating. We certainly hope to return to these distinctive properties!

The pictures do not do this place justice! 5 stars!!

It’s impossible to put this place in words. The pictures just don’t do it justice. The grounds are SPECTACULAR and the Silo Barn is so unique and beautiful! We had the best time and can’t wait to stay again! Highly recommend

A Little Piece of Heaven

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of October. The weather was perfect and the beauty of all the changing colors of the leaves was picturesque! If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you. The property was stunning and well maintained with trails all throughout. We spent the majority of our time exploring. The silo was a perfect little retreat in between our hikes and the bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to recharge after the day's adventure. The property is peaceful and secluded, yet only a few minutes drive into town where there are cute shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this perfect little retreat!

Best Ever!!

Private estate with luxury finishes. 170+ acres of manicured grounds. No need to chase local spots: Walk the grounds and enjoy the setting. Of all the VRBOs we have done, this is the BEST.
