Just wow! Everything was great! Cozy, perfect layout, views were incredible, the extras she left for us were over-the-top and way more than we would have ever expected. We'll be back for sure.

Beautiful and well-stocked getaway

Wonderful fully finished interior, great for a weekend with friends. Hosts are gracious and prompt, and overall we had a lovely time. We always stay here during the fall, it's fastbecomingna tradition!

Did not want to leave.

From the moment we walked in the front door we felt at home and so relaxed. We changed all our plans and stayed in all weekend and enjoyed the deck and the peace. We can't wait to go back!

The view from the cabin was stunning! The neighbors were friendly and the stay was so peaceful. It was a great location and easy to find, I definitely will recommend this place to others and/or stay there again!

This is a perfect place for a relaxing weekend. The cabin is fully furnished as mentioned in the listing. The host goes to great lenghts to ensure that everything is spotlessly clean and welcoming when you arrive (the snacks and wine were an awesome touch). Aside from being a cozy place to relax, there are plenty of local food and entertainment options. Additionally, there is an abundance of wildlife in the area. We spent evenings taking this in and were delighted to see beavers, raccoons, deer, black squirrels, chipmunks and nearly every bird Illinois has to offer. This cabin was absolutely perfect and it is situated in a nice quiet area. You will not be disappointed.

We loved it, the cabin is cute and cozy, the view of the river is so nice. We found a forest preserve close by and hiked, and just relaxed. It was much needed and we will be back!

Beautiful view of the river from the deck. We built a fire and spent many relaxing hours there. Fully equipped kitchen- anything you might need is there. Great to use the washer/dryer and pack to go home with clean clothes. Less than 15 minutes to all Quad cities. Hostess makes every effort to insure an enjoyable vacation. A place we hope to rent again.

Little Cabin with Big Value

Stay at the little cabin on the Rock river. Great Views with Peace and Quiet. Excellent weekend getaway option for anyone looking for a quiet restful retreat. A must for anyone who loves fishing. Highly Recommended.

The cabin and view were awesome. We were disappointed that the outdoor area was not as clean as we expected. We understand that there will be cobwebs and leaves on the deck but it looked like no one attempted to clean this area.

Hummingbird Heaven

Our stay was very quiet and beautiful. Lynda surprised us with a bunch of treats, breakfast and wine! Everything was as advertised and much more. The deck with the fire pit was the best. We made our breakfast on the open flame each morning and watched the hummingbirds lively dance. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again. Thank you Lynda.
