Family Holiday

This large beautiful home made our 7 day stay with a family of 8 adults and 1 toddler very relaxing, allowing plenty of room to either spread out, or play together. The swimming area was nice, and the water toys/floats were fun to have; the amount of beach was quite minimal. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glassware, flatware, and all manner of cooking equipment - all in near-new condition. Quiet lake.

Annual Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, well appointed vacation rental. Check in process was very smooth and communication with the host was adequate. Our family loved the spacious kitchen and great room area. Be aware that there are only 3 private bedrooms, with 2 additional bedroom areas in the open loft space, which wasn't ideal for our adult family. Overall, it is a lovely home.

One of the best!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay here last weekend! Some of the highlights: *Everything was so clean and in great shape *Kids bunk room upstairs was perfect for our 4 kiddos *Kids LOVED fishing off the dock- so many fish caught and released throughout the weekend *We had tried to rent a boat for the weekend, but couldn't make it under the bridge due to the high water. We were a little bummed, but we just tied the lilypad to the dock and the kids enjoyed that just as much! We had brought our own life jackets, but appreciated being able to use theirs too! * The basement was also a hit! Definitely a must stay again!

Absolutely Wonderful!

We stayed at this stunning Lake House in South Haven, with a private beach on Grass Lake. Pictures are lovely, but don’t do it justice. It was so much more than we expected, and the craftsmanship - impeccable! WOW! Inside it had 15 beds, a super cute bunk area with 10 of them, (each with a cute, stuffed elephant on it) 3 living spaces, and an AMAZING Game Room with Foosball, Ping Pong, an “old school” arcade game, bean bags, and a sauna! SO much to do! It sits on a very peaceful lake, with a large yard, in a quiet neighborhood, with the beautiful sights and sounds of Loons, and non stop fishing! Those little guys were hopping on almost before the line hit the water! Ha! Lots of activities around the area as well! We went to many places they suggested in the binder. Excellent communication with hosts! I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back with the kids, and extended family! Hoping to make this a new, annual, summer tradition!!!!

Excellent lake house for family fun!

The house was exactly as pictured. Nice, large, very clean and lots of extras -- ranging from soft blankets for naps on the many couches, lifejackets for all ages from little kid to adult, fishing gear, any kitchen gadget you could need, boardgames and more! Heather was very communicative and fast to response. The kids fished off the dock every day, caught dozens of fish. We brought our boat in (launched from nearby Clearwater lake) and the kids tubed and did more fishing. There is a beach but it was too weedy for our personal preference, however there's a public beach with playground and clean bathrooms less than a 10 minute drive away (Clearwater/Pleasant Regional Park.) The yard was large and perfect for playing soccer, with a fire pit for s'mores. The only issue is that our cell service and internet connection were very slow or sometimes nonexistent. It wasn't just at the house, it was experienced around the neighborhood. I recommend downloading any directions before leaving the house, we had a few instances once we left where we had no signal for miles and weren't able to get maps up and going. We had a wonderful week and I highly recommend this seller and property.

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect. Close to some fun restaurants and a nice grocery store. The beds were very comfortable and the room darkening shades were an added bonus. The kitchen and family living room offered a perfect place to have family gather. The kids loved the bunk room and having their own space to watch movies and hang out. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot.

Perfect Weekend

This was the perfect get away for 7 girl friends to celebrate 35 yrs of friendship. House had plenty of room for all of us with lots of choices for sleeping and just enough bathrooms. The kitchen was excellent for all 7 of us to take turns cooking. Fire pit and dock were great for lounging and lake had a good amount of activity - not too much or too little. Also loved the large washer dryer that got good use. Property manager was easily accessible before the weekend to help us plan and answer any questions. Would DEFINITELY book again!

Outstanding Family Time at The Lake

This gorgeous new home was spacious and modern and had every possible convenience, including a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. There were plenty of gathering areas for the whole family ( 5 adults and 4 children, ages 1-8), as well as private spaces for quiet time. Our kiddos were able to take naps easily without being disturbed by the rest of the family. The sandy beach was perfect for play and relaxation, while the lake was just the right depth for young children. We were impressed by all of the water toys that were provided, especially the lily pad. S'mores around the fire pit were a big hit and we loved playing in the huge backyard. It was a fabulous vacation week for our family!

Family vacation

This was a family vacation with all of our kids and 5 grandsons all under the age of 10. The house and property were wonderful. The kids enjoyed the swimming and the games in the house. We hope to stay again next summer.

Fall Get Away

The Haven was a great, spacious place for relaxing, playing games and enjoying meals together with 2 families. The house was the most well-stocked of any VRBO I have been too...from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the linens, games and toys - amazing! We enjoyed the large yard and view to the lake. Hosts were easy to work with.

Fantastic Home

This is a beautiful property, very well maintained and perfect for us; Grandma and Grandpa, 2 "kids" and a daughter-in-law and 3 young grandsons, 2, 3 and 4. Nice little beach that the grands loved, many small fish to catch from the dock--all three also enjoyed that! So many activities available that we didn't have time for all of them (some rain would have helped inspire us to try some of the indoor activities!). The only slight negative about the location is that it isn't easy to get a pontoon boat under the bridge from the small lake it is on (Grass Lake) to the larger lake (Clearwater) for the older fishermen to get out. It would be easy for a smaller, low profile boat, but we didn't want to rent two--and a pontoon is essential for the grandkids! Fantastic week!!

Great time in MN

Our week at the Haven was great. We rented a boat, did some fishing, did a lot of swimming and just enjoyed being away from our daily lives. The house was great. There were lots of DVDs, a ping pong table, a football table, a video game machine, a sauna, Wii and more to use on the one rainy day. Having linens, towels, paper products, soaps, detergents and the like made packing for the trip easy. The kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor toys like the lily pad and noodles were appreciated by the younger folks in our group. Inside the house there were plenty of king sized beds and the four bathrooms all with showers meant no waiting. The owners were easy to contact and attentive to our questions. Overall it was a good experience.

Amazing

This is an amazing property! The home is an A+ with all the spaces and amenities we could have wanted. The kids loved the basement space with its own family room for movies and the games in the rec area were a big hit. The sleeping accommodations were plentiful and comfortable. The lake that the cabin is very quiet with not much traffic, which is nice. Heather was a great communicator which was very much appreciated! We would definitely consider coming back and would recommend this home to anyone looking for an amazing vacation!
