Great 1 bed, 1 bath fully furnished, efficiency apartment minutes from Charlottesville's Downtown Mall and UVA Hospital. Excellent option for an extended stay (30 night min). Perfect for traveling nurses and transient professionals or a home-base while in Charlottesville.

Southern Luxury is one of seven fully renovated apartments located within the Belmont Farmhouse just 1 block off "downtown" Belmont. It offers 1 bed, 1bath, a living area and full kitchen. Located on the first floor. Excellent location, on a quiet street, and within a minutes walk to some of the area's best restaurants (MAS, The Local, Tavola, Belle, Conmole) and about a 10 -15 minute walk to the highly sought after Downtown Mall (pedestrian). Southern Luxury is primarily an "extended stay" rental with a typical minimum night stay of 30 days although may be occasionally offered for short term rentals. Please call to inquire about pricing for stays longer than 31 days.
The Southern Luxury Apartment has been completely renovated from top to bottom while still maintaining the historic charm of the house when it was built in the 1800s. Original heart pine floors, plaster walls, 9' ceilings, and large windows give this apartment classic southern charm. These elements, paired with modern furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen, make this suite an excellent home base for your trip.
The large, landscaped yard on this oversized, city lot makes the house feel extra private. Vegetable garden beds can also be found throughout the yard which are shared with the neighbors and local restaurants.
Access to this ground-floor suite is gained through the front door/foyer of the house. In the rear of the home is a laundry room that can be used upon request. Each side of the house has a pleasant yard that can be used for picnics or yoga and the communal front porch is great for relaxing on a nice day.
** Pet friendly for 1 dog - $75 pet fee/month. Needs approval.
