We had a great time with our 3 kids over several days. Great secluded property with lots of activities for those wanting plenty of family time at the cabin. Beautiful fall colors in mid October. Property/cabin is charming and well maintained. Thanks!

This unique house and lake location served us very nicely for our three generation family together time. We appreciated the quiet location and solitude at the end of the road, while being just a few minutes away from activities and services. There was enough space for both alone and shared activities, along with ample household and recreational equipment.

Wonderful kind of old fashion lake cabin with tons of space. Superb kitchen. A true lake feel to the entire property and, despite being just a couple miles from Baxter 371, was incredibly secluded and quiet. Phenomenal variety of song birds and waterfowl. Kari was super responsive to all questions we had.

Loved staying at Red Sand Lake! The house was perfect for a long weekend, and we loved having a tennis court available too. Would stay here again.

Place is as described. Lots of room if you have multiple families. The lake is very weedy but fishing is still good. It is not a swimming beach as it’s too weedy but they have lots of lake toys including canoes, kayaks, and a paddle board. The pickle ball court is a lot of fun! Host is very responsive. Great location- 15 minutes from anything you could need.

We stayed at this house with 13 family members, ranging from age 6 to 70, as well as two corgis. We rented the extra suite, and that was good for our family (extra bedroom for adults). The house and property is very big and spacious. There were plenty of towels, too - a sign they really want to take care of their guests! The owners take great care of the home, and they were very repsonsive, making sure we enjoyed our stay. We spent a lot of time fishing, playing pickleball, foosball, kayaking, and around the fire. The lake is very "weedy", so not very good for swimming, but we honestly didn't really miss that much as there was so much else to do and enjoy. We would certainly consider this place again if we are in the Brainerd area.

Great place for families

We stayed for a weekend and had a wonderful time! Kari was a great host and was available for questions if we had any. Great place for families because there are a lot of things the property has to offer.

This was a beautiful property with everything we needed for our family to have a fantastic week in the northwoods! We had a great time fishing, playing pickle ball, going for boat rides, playing games, using the fire pit, and more. We will definitely be back!!
