This 1 bed 1 bath unit has everything you need to make your trip to the Big Island memorable. Just a short walk from all the restaurants and shops of Alii Drive and just a short drive to the beach.

If you're someone who likes to stay close to the action then this is the perfect unit for you. Ideal for a single or couple, this 1 bed 1 bath condo is the perfect starting point no matter what your plans are. Located just a few minutes away from some of the best beaches, shopping and restaurants Kona has to offer.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and flat-screen TV with a Roku player to access your personal streaming services. The portable AC and ceiling fan work together to provide comfortable conditions to get a good night's sleep. We've recently added a pair of nightstands with bed-side lamps for your convenience.

Relax on the big comfortable couch after a long day on the beach. The living room is equipped with a flat-screen Smart TV. Please note: the television in the living room has been replaced with a larger one since the pictures were taken. Temperature control in this room is done by way of the window unit AC and ceiling fan.

The unit is equipped with a private lanai with enough seating for 4. Enjoy a mai tai while you take in the tropical night air.

As a guest at Kailua Bay Resort, you'll have access to the complex's pool and barbecue facilities. The unit has one assigned parking stall.

We provide complimentary starter essentials including paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, and trash bags. We also have air mattress, pack and play, and high chair available for rent.

comfy place

the condo was comfortable and had all the amenities to make our stay pleasant. it was late when we arrived and whilst the instructions to the apartment were clear, inadequate lighting made it difficult to locate the place. Other than that, it’s a lovely place that’s in the heart of town yet quiet and peaceful

Functional

This condo is functional. That is it is a place to sleep. Nothing special, but then not bad either. While the portable AC in living room is a bit trashy, it works to cool quickly. Kitchen was well stocked except for a tea kettle, but pans are really old and need to be replaced. No spices. Pool/beach towels, beach chairs and even cheap snorkel equipment were available. Location was great, easy walk to shops and restaurants to avoid $15/hour parking. If you don't mind an 80s era condo which has not never been updated, then this is the place for you.

Perfect Space!

The property was very well kept and easy to access! Overall a pretty quiet area that was a close distance to most things by walking or driving! The rental company was extremely responsive and helpful during the stay! Definitely would recommend this place!

Great condo in a great location

We had a great stay at this condo. It had everything we needed. The condos outdoor common area was a great place to meet fellow travelers while swimming or bbqing. Management was quick and responsive on all questions and requests. The condo itself was fantastic - a/c, full kitchen, nice little patio.Would definately stay again.

The place was clean, however it was VERY DATED. There was a somewhat staleness in the air from being closed. We arrived late night. The bed was too soft and the air conditioning unit was extremely loud, so loud in fact we had to turn it off. I called to express my concerns with the unit and was essentially met with minimal effort to help mitigate the situation. We did not stay.

Great location, nice complex, walkable to Kona

This is a great location, very close to downtown Kona. The pictures define the condo very well. Only 4 stars due to the cons listed below. Easily fixable. Pro: Parking is very close to the condo. Close to downtown, Safeway, Longs Drug and Walmart. Bed was comfortable and the condo was clean. Nice lanai with table and chairs. Great to have a washer/dryer in the condo. Kitchen fairly well stocked, could use a sharp knife and kitchen shears. Good set of dishes, coffee maker and air fryer. TV in living room is huge but there is no cable vision, only streaming. TV in bedroom has a Roku device. New towels in the bathroom, very nice. Management very responsive to a call we made. Con: As noted above, the knives are not very sharp and no kitchen shears. No bathroom soap or shampoo was provided. We stayed 3 weeks and had 3 rolls of toilet paper provided. Not quite enough to get through the trip. Only had one beach chair. A little noisy but this isn't the fault of the condo, just close to town. Upstairs neighbors are heavy walkers but heard nothing from either side neighbors. I would put a Roku device on the TV in the living room. I would also set it up to have a Guest mode so you can make sure your accounts are signed out when you leave. As it was, I was using a previous guest Netflix account and Roku account. They apparenly did not sign out when they left. Bottom line is that I would stay again, overall pretty pleased with the place.

Had a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at this spacious 1 bedroom condo. It was walking distance to the beach and had all the beach supplies you could need. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was only a short walk to the downtown area in Kona. The only minor complaint we had was how loud the A/C unit in the bedroom was. We couldn’t sleep with it on, so we just used the fan instead. Great stay!

Great location

Last minute booking, was a great location to village. Only thing is if you have problems climbing stairs or heavy suitcases, there is no elevator, so it’s a little of a haul. Overall positive!!

Nice apartment in a good location

My wife and I stayed in the Kailua Village apartment for 4 nights during a vacation to 4 of the Hawaiian Islands. The apartment was clean with a comfortable bed. Everything seemed to work fine, except the air conditioner in the bedroom, which was really too noisy to have running at night. There was an extremely useful folder showing all the local amenities, from restaurants, shops, places to visit and the national/state parks. There was also a large laminated map of the island. There was free parking just outside the apartment. The local area had plenty of stores, including a Safeway one block away and a Walmart two blocks away. COSTCO was 5 miles away on the way to the airport, so was good for a re-fuel of our rental car just prior to departure. There are plenty of ocean-front local restaurants a few minutes' walk away. Overall, a good place to stay.
