The Milk House at Nittany Meadow Farm

Stay on the farm! Enjoy the natural beauty of Nittany Meadow Farm during your stay in Centre County. Located minutes from State College and Penn State, this unique one-bedroom cottage was the original milk house at historic Nittany Meadow Farm. The cozy cottage offers a kitchen, 1 bathroom, a queen-size bed and living room. We can provide an air mattress in living room for 2 additional guests. During your stay, we’ll introduce you to our goats, who will beg you for treats and make you smile.

Nittany Meadow Farm is a working goat, beef and pig farm, and we live on the property in the main farmhouse, and also rent the three-bedroom Wagon Shed. We’re available if you need something or want to visit the animals!

Super fantastic location on a goat farm complete with goat yoga and assorted other furred and feathered friends. The cottage was super clean and nice and had everything you could possibly want or need. Tara is terrific, great communication. Loved the whole experience!

The Milk House is set in a perfect spot to access all a parent of a Penn State Student needs. We loved its quick access to campus and quiet location.

Short getaway

If you want to stay out in the countryside but still only minutes from State College, check out the Milk House. We were greeted by a rooster and a few chickens as we arrived. And you can schedule a visit with the baby goats during your stay as well. The property is small but very cozy. A great place to simply rest and recharge.

The Milk House was the PERFECT place to stay for a quiet weekend getaway in the State College area. With extremely easy access to both the Penn State campus and historic Boalsburg, you can’t go wrong with the location. The Milk House had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay! The views were gorgeous, and the farm was adorable. Thank you so much, we will be back!

State playoff accomodations.

The farm was enjoyable for my 10 year old. We came to town for State basketball play offs.She showed me all of your animals. The accomodations were also just perfect. Perfect size and plenty of space. Cozy little kitchen I absolutely loved .

Beautiful Peaceful Quiet Escape

We really enjoyed our stay at the Milk House. Located 12 minutes from Penn State Campus and downtown. It is very clean, quiet, and homey with lots of plants and a great view of the mountains. Farmer Mike gave us a tour of the barn. We met lots of adorable baby goats and their mamas. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved this place

My teenage daughter and I were up for the weekend to visit my son at PSU. The Milk House was perfect for the 2 of us. Close enough to campus but quiet at night. The cottage is charming, updated, and extremely clean. The kitchen is so convenient. We loved waking up and seeing all of the animals. We are hoping to come back!

Perfect place for a football weekend

The property is close to State College without being in the middle of the chaos. The property was clean and charming. Having the hotel nearby for takeout was convenient, as well. Tara was very communicative.

Perfect cottage for PSU visit

I visited my son at Penn State University with my Mom and we loved the tranquil cottage at Nittany Meadows. It is super close to campus but the beautiful farm setting immediately relaxes the mind once you are there. The hosts are attentive and welcoming. We look forward to returning.

Simple and lovely

Perfect for a couple. Well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom. If you like animals, you can visit cows, sheep, pigs, and (from outside the barn) goats. If you don’t care about animals, they aren’t intrusive. The A/C works well and is fairly quiet. The bed is comfortable. Tara is lovely. Highly recommended.

Cute Cottage makes you feel at Home

My girlfriend and I stayed for a weekend to visit Penn state and being from New York City, the farm was the perfect escape. All the animals on the farm are friendly and so are the hosts! Incredible family, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Milk House at Nittany Meadow Farm. We loved how close we were to Penn State especially after a long day/night at a concert at Beaver Stadium.

Most beautiful State College visit ever!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Milk House! We usually travel in larger groups, but the beauty, scenery, and sounds of the farm were truly enjoyed! Would love to come back on a non-football weekend when we have more time to soak it all in. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and pretty! Thank you!
