The Grizzly Cabin was amazing. The check-in and check-out process was so easy. The cabin was clean and cozy enough for 2 people while being spacious enough for a family. The host was easy to contact and responded quickly. The view at night is absolutely gorgeous; you can see every star while listening to woods. I would definitely come back in the fall or spring to enjoy more of the outdoor activities.

Perfect place to go after a day of digging for crystals. My 76yr old mother liked it because there weren't any big steps to deal with. Would highly recommend!

Excellent getaway!

The cabin was perfect!! The host was very responsive and personable. Contactless check in, clean cabin, privacy and excellent amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and will book there again if in the area. I recommend this cabin!

Very Nice Cabin

My two children and I stayed here to spend the week at Lake Ouachita boating/hiking/etc and this was a perfect place for us. The cabin is very nice and clean. The check in process was very easy and the owner/manager is very responsive.

Another great trip

We love traveling to Mt. Ida and digging for crystals. We found Rachel and the bear cabins on our last trip and the “cub” was an awesome cabin! We have now stayed in the “grizzly” as well and again, a perfect cabin! We won’t stay anywhere else when we come to town. Great location, great host and a great time!!

Mountain getaway

Very functional. Could use hotter water, was just lukewarm at end of shower. Comfy though and good view. Stargazing would be amazing in warmer months.

So glad you thought our cabin was comfy and great for stargazing. We've not had any other renters complaining of water temperature so I'm not sure if the shower was used a while since it was only lukewarm at the end of the shower and not a complaint of it being lukewarm the whole time during the shower.There also wasn't anything mentioned to us during your 4 night stay regarding hotter water. We encourage our renters to reach out to us for anything they may need or have an issue with during their stay.

Perfeft little cabin

This cabin had everything we needed. We spent a couple of days and enjoyed the conference of being close enough to town and places we visited. It is in a nice open area and still has that in the woods feeling. Has everything you would need. Nice clean place, with comfortable bed to sleep on. Place to have a bon fire and cook out. Picnic table. I highly recommend this place.

Nice Easter Weekend

The property is located near Lake Ouachita and is in a country like/peaceful setting. Great if traveling with dogs with good recall as there is lots of green space and is not near a busy road. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishes and toilet area. To be changed 100 cleaning fee at booking the cabin wasn’t that tidy.. Overall we did enjoy the stay.

So glad you responded after your arrival that our cabin was so peaceful. I hate that you didn't let me know your concerns on the cleanliness of anything upon your arrival. Especially since we did communicate before and upon your arrival.. We always encourage our renters to reach out to us for anything they have an issue with so we can have those issues responded to immediately.

Fantastic

10/10. The property is simple yet beautiful and we absolutely enjoyed staying there. Having Wi-Fi in such a secluded area along with all the other amenities made our long journey there much more rewarding. We were able to watch anything we wanted and even cook with some seasonings that were available to us in the pantry. On top of all that, the area surrounding was gorgeous, serene and perfectly distanced from the other properties around. And it’s about a 30 minute drive from some very nice river floats. We enjoyed our stay and will be renting again in the future!

WONDERFUL!!!

Exactly as advertised, very clean & comfortable with plenty of dishes, coffee pot & coffee, spices, linens, etc. There were a couple of kitchen chairs that had bad legs, but other than that all was as advertised. We ended up mot hunting for crystals or doing anything extra. Just cooked, rested, watched T.V. & sat on the porch enjoying the quiet & the beauty of the Royal Oaks & wildflowers. We loved it! THANK YOU!!!!!

The kitchen table and chairs were my grandmothers and they are extremely old but overall still very durable. I love the idea that there are so many memories still being made around them.

So when we first arrived there was trash everywhere. Which I contacted the owners and they had it cleaned up right away. The cabin it's self is really cute. Now for the worst part was once you got inside everything was tore up or broke. The mattress are the worst I ever sleep on. The pull out couch was even broke. None of us was able to get a goodnight sleep. We were worried about setting in the dining room because they were all broke! SO NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL.

Much needed break!

Once again the Grizzly cabin provided a peaceful setting for some much needed rest. The setting is as described. We enjoyed breakfast outside each morning. It was a short weekend stay, but time was taken to visit local mines to do a little crystal digging. As always, we were not disappointed! Coming back to clean up and just enjoy the evenings outside at the fire pit was extremely relaxing! Whether discussing the day's events or simply enjoying the fire and sounds of night this was a major treat. The cabin is well set up for cooking in-house. This was important as dietary needs did not allow for eating out in the area. Having a washer & dryer is a plus. Returning home with no work other than unloading the car is nice! As far as communication with our host, she is a lovely woman with a great memory. She did remember us from spring. She is very responsive if you have questions or concerns. Perhaps this is why this trip was so relaxing! When time allows, we will return!
