Regatta Retreat

Get away from your busy schedule and retreat to the wilderness. Regatta retreat is a quiet wooded escape.
Nestled between the polo fields of Willow Bend Polo Club and the sailing regatta at Corinthian Yacht Club you have an opportunity to watch polo horses work out from your back yard or attend a polo match and stomp divots with the elite or arrange in advance for a slip to dock your sailboat and or schedule sailing lessons from numerous captains anxious to share what they know.
The space
Relax in this fully renovated single family home with amply space to stretch out and enjoy family friends and or business associates. Build a fire in our wood fire pit or just turn on the gas and enjoy the fire table. Either one will make for a great time of sharing.
Escape into the game room to enjoy a game of ping pong or shuffle board and relax by our 85” tv’s. This house has something for everyone in the group.
Guest access
Enjoy the elaborate kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal except the food. Turn your kids loose on the private play ground with swings and a slide on the lot next door or just stroll thru the woods surrounding the property and the neighborhood.
Other things to note
The house is located between the colleges in Denton and the sporting events in Frisco. Visit with your kids at Texas Womens University or University of North Texas or attend a game with the Texas Tornados, The Rough Riders, or a Dallas Cowboys practice at The Star Stadium or FC Dallas soccer games at Toyota Stadium. All are within 30 minutes drive.
Just 20 minutes away you will find Little Elm Park with its sand beach, beach volleyball, zip lines, kayak and paddle board rental and it’s latest indoor water park called the Cove. In addition you can try your skill at wake boarding at Hydrous Water Park or just Picnic by the lake.

Great spot!

Nicely appointed home with absolutely everything you would ever need to enjoy your stay. If you have kids this is paradise. Great games, ping pong table.

The home was clean and beautiful. All the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We stayed here with family for a college graduation. We would definitely stay at the property again. We had a great stay and loved the fresh baked cookies at our arrival.

Beautiful wedding and VRBO home

We booked this home because it was close to the wedding we would be attending. It was absolutely PERFECT! The host even had a homemade cake waiting for us upon arrival. The home is one of the best equipped/stocked VRBO home we have ever booked. Unfortunately, we had to depart a day early because of anticipated, inclement weather on our original day of departure. Wish we could have stayed the entire time and explored the area. Great area and home!!!!

Great Retreat

The Regatta worked out perfectly for our family reunion during the Thanksgiving week. It was a great location and Kimberly was very communicative and helpful. We highly recommend the Regatta Retreat to all.

Perfect Stay

We are from San Diego and come out several times a year to visit children and grandchildren. We enjoy staying at a home where we can relax and have down time as well as be on the go. The house was clean with lots of games, ping pong table, etc. Lots of beds and lux linens. Kitchen was large and open. Outside included lots of seating, fire pit and swings. There was even a stage area for the grandkids to put on a show!

Great regatta location!

Really well appointed property, very clean and comfortable with lots of extra special little touches. Fun outdoor area out back, games, and even a cake to greet us.

Kimberly was an amazing host. She stayed in touch to help us with all of our needs.

The home was perfect and it was decorated for Christmas
which made our pictures gorgeous! The backyard was so fun with a fire table and fire pit for roasting s’mores. There is plenty of sleeping space and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need! Hats off to Kimberly and Jeffery for creating a lovely home

Modern and comfy at same time

I loved the homey touches to this cute home. Plenty of blankets, toiletries even shampoo and conditioner available. Such a great hostess and easy check in and check out. Patio and grill were perfect for us. Power washer so we put it to use as the trees get on furniture all day so was easy to have a drag clean patio any day. Private yet close and convenient to town

Jeff and Kim Peters are current residents of Frisco Texas just 16 miles from this incredible lake house. Jeff is a commercial general contractor by day and a Christian counselor by night. Kim is a distributor of nutritional products that are changing peoples lives, through the healing power of good nutrition.
Their four children and seven grand children keep them both extremely busy and continually blessed.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property was purchased as a retreat for our bible study groups and friends. It allows for small group retreats and corporate meetings and is centrally located between the college campuses of Texas Women's University and the University of North Texas in Denton and the sporting events of Rough Ryder stadium, Toyota FG Dallas soccer, Texas Tornados hockey and Dallas Cowboys Training facilities at the Star. All these events are 20 minutes away in Frisco, TX. Or you can step out into your back yard and watch polo riders work out there horses in the Willow Bend Polo Club adjacent to the house or drive up the street a few blocks and watch the sailboats at Corinthian Yacht club.
