This is an open floor plan with living room, kitchen with island, and dining room combined. Dining and bar seats 8 people.
The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, pots & pans, silverware, dishes, wine and drinking glasses. Also has small appliances like can opener, coffee makers, toaster, blender, mixer, toaster oven, George Foreman grill, and Crockpot.
Fireplace has electric insert for warmth and realistic flames.

We have highest speed fiber optics internet available 500 MEG for WIFI to stream apps on TV including Live TV and football games, also 3 DVD players and large assortment of DVDs for both children and adults.

Thanksgiving 2024

We rented to get the family together. Susan could not have been more helpful and this place was stocked with all the extras. Wr are hoping to come back in summer to enjoy the lake because the putside area/deck was perfectly set up... Thanks for the usr of your home.

Family Vacation

This is my opportunity to get the family together, my two daughters, their respective spouses, and my two 12 year old grandsons. The cabin was fully stocked with supplies, games to play at night, and things to ride in the lake when we were not boating. Everyone loved the place and want to come back.

Amazing View, Boat Access, & Stay!!

Susan and Dave have a beautiful hidden gem on the lake. Beautiful decore, big kitchen island bar for spreading out buffet style meals, back deck big and toddler friendly. We had a Tritoon boat that fit easily in the slip. Dave met my son and daughter-in-law upon arrival and Susan was just a text away making sure everything was ok. It was better than Ok!!! We loved it!! 3 couples and a baby had plenty of room.

Perfect spot!

We loved this house! The hosts were great, the access to the cove with all the water gear was perfect, and all the thoughtful little extras that were included in the stay were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Well managed enjoyable place to stay.

Property was clean and well maintained. Hosts were friendly and available for questions. No steps and easy access to covered boat dock. They provided towels, shampoo, suntan lotion, soaps, kitchen supplies, and various treats. Thanks for making are stay enjoyable.

BEST FALL BREAK GETAWAY!

From the moment I booked this property, Susan was in contact with me. She was so helpful. We are new to renting through VRBO and really didn't know what to expect. She made everything so easy. She was also helpful with things to do and placed to eat. The property is immaculate and is appointed with most anything a family would need for their stay. The house is beautifully decorated, and the beds are so comfy. If you have time for any movie watching, there are plenty of streaming choices in the family area as well as the bedrooms. Susan has shelves of books, DVDs and a drawer full of games and cards to keep everyone busy. The boat dock is easily accessed and so is the house. I just really can't say enough about this rental and Susan and Dave. We had a wonderful time and are planning another trip here for the summer. Thanks again Susan and Dave for having us!

We stayed Monday-Friday and didn't want to leave! The house was equipped with everything we needed and more! The hosts were available for any questions we had and checked in on us a few times! Highly recommend and hope to be back!!

Our adventure

The property was very much just as advertised. Everything was very well stocked, even things you wouldn't expect to find in a vacation home. The weather wasn't very cooperative, resulting in a power outage that lasted several hours. Dave made sure we kept the refrigerator going so as not to spoil all the food. Thank you so much for looking out for us this weekend. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

Wonderful Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay even though it rained on our last full day. The house was equipped with everything that we wanted. The grill was doing something odd, so Dave and Susan let us use their personal one which we thought was very convenient! Susan is very responsive to messages which was so appreciated! We’ve already booked again for late July!

Short family getaway

This is by far the best property we have ever stayed at! They have thought of everything! You feel so at home with all of the personal touches. We rented a boat for 8 hours from H2O rentals and we had an amazing 3 nights. The owners of the property are the nicest and there are so many fun water toys and dock to fish from! Just loads of fun!

Retired siblings' vacation

My husband and I stayed with his sister and his brother. We are 60's - 70's in age. It was very nice and relaxing. We appreciated not having stairs to get to the dock. Loved our evenings on the deck enjoying nature and the water. Nice, clean home with lots of personality. Would definitely return and would recommend.

Relaxing long weekend

We had a great time on our 4-day getaway. Everything in the rental was done so thoughtfully. The check-in process was simple and the hosts were very attentive and helpful. If we are back down to Grand, we would definitely stay here again!

Cabin is on Monkey Island close to Shangri La Resort which has a new million-dollar arcade and new 3 Par course opened May 2023. You can easily rent a boat with 2 marinas close by. If you have a plane, you can fly in, and we can pick you up. The quiet cove is great for fishing and swimming. Best of all there are no stairs which makes it perfect for seniors. You can be in your boat in one minute from house.

Grand Lake of Cherokee have lots of activities including boating, golfing, and fishing. We invite you to be our guest. Relaxing and enjoying friends/family with a week getaway. Making lasting memories is what it's all about. We offer free to use a paddle boat, canoe, and 2 paddle boards. Life jacket, lily pad, and float toys in shed.
Vacation here and I'm sure that you'll want to return year after year.
