Excellent, well situated home.

Clean, functional, nicely decorated, relaxing with pretty view of the water. Very quiet with a nice balcony to enjoy the breeze off the water. The separate office was also very useful for remote work! We could walk down to the water, but could be better marked. Easy bike into town. Would highly recommend.

Summer get-a-way

This home was a perfect getaway. A gourmet chef would have been happy in the roomy, well equipped and easy to care for kitchen. The back porch has everything necessary for outdoor chefs while the family can lounge on the porch in cozy chairs. Best of all is the lovely large, outdoor dining area and table with a good view of the ocean. The living room is decorated well with a good view of the ocean. The house was clutter free so it was easy to clean between the cleaning lady’s days. Any reader would be in heaven with the interesting selection of books to peruse. The bedrooms were well appointed and the beds had lovely bedding and pillows. The bathrooms also had lovely towels. I recommend this home and give it an A+. The owner is also delightful to communicate with. Thank you for a quiet month in a lovely home.

My Washington, DC based husband and I bought this house in the winter of 2021. I was born and raised in Maine and the pull to spend more time in the state was strong. My husband was born and raised in South Africa and together we have decorated the home with a mix of antiques, contemporary furniture and many things we have picked up in our travels.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The ocean pull is strong and the light in the house is incredible. From every room you can hear the birdsong and the crash of the waves. In the winter months light fills the house and it is a very happy place to be.
