Food brings people together and this gourmet, restaurant quality kitchen will not disappoint. Outfitted with two refrigerators, two dishwashers and a commercial stove/oven/cooktop, chef or amateur will enjoy creating in this kitchen.

With available seating for 24 plus guests, this retreat provides the ultimate in gathering friends and loved ones together.

There are 6 bedrooms . Five of them offer King beds and spacious living space and the 6th (Bunkhouse), accommodates up to 16 guests with 8 full size bunks. *****Nightly rates are based on the 5 King bedrooms, accommodating 10 guests. Any number over that amount is charged a per person, per night rate of $20. These guests are accommodated in the ‘bunkhouse’ bedroom.*****

Four separate gathering spaces provide access to conversation, games or TV/movie entertainment as desired.

Multiple decks and large patio provide endless outdoor enjoyment, whether grilling and relaxing, tossing a basketball, playing lawn games, bird watching or star gazing.

Wildlife viewing is abundant. Deer, elk, Javelina, rabbits, squirrels and woodpeckers are common visitors.

Unfortunately, this is not an 'event' site property and pets are not allowed.

Perfect house and property for a big group

This house is THE BEST for staying with a large group. Lots of bathrooms, chairs everywhere for eating and visiting (both indoors and out) plenty of parking space, and a large kitchen. The blacktop in the kitchen is so great for making piles of pancakes. The hosts are so gracious and have been wonderfully communicative the last few times we stayed. We're so happy with our experience here we are repeat guests!

Beautiful Property!

We had our church youth retreat at this wonderful property! The home was amazing for housing and feeding 18 teens and 7 adults. The home is inviting, spacious and comfortable. We were able to sit all together to worship, have teachings and prayer groups. The teens loved the game room and hiking the area and the kitchen is a dream for cooking for a large group. The owner is kind and hospitable. We were blessed graciously with our stay!

Best group cabin in the pines!

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful rental with 4 families and kids ranging from age 5-11. It couldn’t be more perfect from the giant gourmet kitchen to the bunk room to the ping pong table and fire pit. The boys enjoyed the basketball hoop in the yard as well. Peggy could not be more accommodating in all respects. Thank you!

Great house for a big group!

My group of friends had a great time at Pegs! The place had enough space for a big group of adults and all the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed and the double fridge and double dishwashers were very nice. Peg was quick to response when I had questions and made sure we had all the information we needed. We would all stay here again!

Spectacular

The property and home were way better than n the photos. It was absolutely breathtaking. My family had an amazing time. I am so glad that we decided to book this place, definitely a Christmas we will never forget. The rooms were very spacious, overall the home had everything we needed or could want and then some. Thank you for the great stay.

Christmas with the family

Our entire family, mom and dad, 4 kids & their spouses and eight grandkids spent the weekend together for Christmas. The house was awesome, spacious and allowed for great activities.

Best of the best!

We absolutely love this home and the property! The owner and property manager are 100% invested in ensuring you have an amazing stay. The house is expansive with room for everyone to be a part of the group fun or sneak away for a quiet nap as needed. You won't find a nicer kitchen, this one turns my two son-in-laws in to instant chefs who want to do all the cooking. The outdoor space feels like home for us, it is a large lot with a fence around the perimeter. This makes it very comfortable to let the littles meander in and out to take advantage of outdoor time. If you are a large family or a group of families, you will love this property and home, don't hesitate, this one is a gem!

La casa es muy grande y bonita, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias increibles en familia, el vecindario es muy tranquilo y hermoso. A mi parecer la cocina es la mejor parte de la casa. Amazing!!

This property was simply amazing! There were 8 adults that stayed and we could of had another 8 and had plenty of room!! The kitchen was a dream. Loved the 2 living rooms and game room. Front and back patios were both used. Beds were extremely comfortable. Even the bunk bed room beds were all queen size and mattresses were so much better than any bunk bed mattresses I've tried. John, the property contact was easy to get a hold of. I have nothing negative to say. We're a group of cousins and we switch locations every year. Everyone loved this property so much we'll be coming back next year!

Birthday get away!

Lovely home, exactly as described. Stayed with 5 families and had plenty of room. Kids enjoyed the games and outdoors. HUGE fire pit seating area. Would recommend and go back. Thank you!

Beautiful and roomy property

Plenty of room for our family group to spread out and have quiet time and to come together for meals, visiting, and fun. Bedrooms are large and the kitchen is spacious. Easy check-in and check-out. We would stay again!

Family reunion

Very nice. All had good accommodations. Could use some new cookware as in frying pans. Air conditioning was excellent & loved outside fire pit. Would come again in the future. Spacious & ideal for a large group. Thank you & we tried to leave everything perfect.

Family Vacation

100% positive and incredibly place. Both times I’ve stayed here we’ve had our family come from New Zealand and stay with us. Special times! I’ve associated this rental with a de facto family “reunion” so it will always be our first choice in Show Low/Lakeside/Pinetop area.

Perfect fit for our large family.

Spacious kitchen allowed us to work and be together making meals. We had options for sleeping arrangements and the grounds were perfect for visiting and playful family times.

Big and roomy

"Friends and Family" was clean, the beds comfortable, and the wifi easy to use. There was enough room for the 11 of us at the dinner table. Kitchen had all the cookware and utensils. Porches and decks were nice to enjoy the cool weather. Basket ball court, disc golf, air hockey, and ping pong were all enjoyable and kept the young ones occupied. We will stay there again.

Richard and Peggy Warren är värd

Adventure & travel have been passions for us, Peggy and Richard, since before we were married 43 years ago. And that passion has translated into the same for our 2 children.
Growing up in Michigan, lakes and rivers were never more than 7 miles away......and not unlike the Pinetop/Lakeside region, 4 seasons of outdoor adventure was always possible. Cabin retreats and freshwater sports are what we grew up doing and this Arizona region felt very familiar.

As our careers moved us around the country, we were fortunate to broaden our adventure thirst into many new experiences and places. Richard spent 7 years of Geological research on the Alaskan glaciers and Peg taught school children in a tiny Pacific fishing village in Jalisco, Mexico; two pretty extreme experiences. After meeting and marrying, we chose to fill in those extremes by broadening our travel experiences.
Richard's Aerospace career landed us in California where we ultimately raised our 2 children and settled on a small ranch on a mountain top in S. California.

Now, as grandparents, we seek to enrich the lives of those who desire to explore with friends and family while strengthening bonds through adventure, play, food and great times together.

There's something unique about the draw of someone's roots......the familiar, the comfortable, the wholesomeness of coming home. This is what drew us to the Piinetop/Lakeside region. From our home to your stay.......WELCOME!
