Winter getaway in Jaco

Great property, gorgeous views. Quiet end of Jaco. Felt safe and well cared for. Checkin and out was easy. Recommend a car to take you to the strip on Jaco. Property manager responded quickly with any questions.

Tres Regalos Jaco

Great property, 15 minute walk into town center and on the beach. Magnificent views from the balcony and the condo was very nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Jaco getaway

Stay in Jaco was awesome. Communcation and check in with Lindsay was easy. Location and facilities were great. There is a great Soda 2 min away that had really good food. Deck was large enough for 4-6 people to have morning coffee or watch the gorgeous sunsets.

Jaco Beach CR

Location was perfect away from the busier part of Jaco. Beautiful macaws right outside of our balcony every day. Condo was easy to get to and perfect for two couples as both bedrooms are master bedrooms with bathrooms. We will definitely be back. Pura Vida!

disappointed in jaco

When i was researching this rental i specifically asked if i could see the sun set over the ocean from the deck. The owner affirmed, in writing, that was the case. It was not. During our stay the A/C was malfunctioning and ended up having to be repaired. The tech advised it hadn't been serviced in a long time. The on-site manager (who was great) could not attend the service call, and out of caution, and because there is no safe, we spent several hours of vaca learning about a/c systems. The listing states there is a w/d in the unit. Correct, but it didn't work and ended up being replaced, on our watch. The 'new one' rattled so much on the spin cycle i had to sit on it to keep it from trashing the closet. It never did work during our stay. There were some other minor issues one should know about; there were no condiments. 0. So bring your own salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, etc. And the freezer had 2 ice trays, but both were empty...? odd. so if you are looking for a quick marg, bring your own ice. Also, they charge a 5k damage deposit! i wasn't too worried about it---wasn't planning on throwing any keg parties---but that is kinda obscene. One would think, given the above, the owners, if honorable, would offer some kind of refund. Nada. These owners are either amateurs or just bad actors, and likely both. Be careful. Finally, just to get ahead of the curve, the owners will likely come of with some kind of retort. Expect eloquent BS.

What a great stay! Owner was great to work with and Lyndsay was awesome with giving us so much help!! The view was amazing and the condo was wonderful! The full, well equipped kitchen was nice to have, bedrooms were huge and the showers were unbelievable. Definitely recommend!

Great Location

My wife and I stayed for six weeks and had a great vacation. The condo is very nice and is in a beautiful location.The view is magnificent. The beach is right out in front of the property. The beds are very firm and comfortable.There is a good restaraunt across the street and also at Crocs next door. We had a couple of minor issues while we were there and Cristina the owner was very quick to address them.All in all it is a very good place to stay.

On the beach

Definitely on the beach. It was all the way on the end of jaco beach. I thought it was more central but Ubers and taxis are very inexpensive. Ver beautiful views and very quite. Very nice condo.

Gorgeous property

This property was incredible! Amazing views, very clean, and in a wonderful location. My two friends and I had a great time and the check in process was a breeze. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Jaco.

A wonderful stay

This is a great spot in Jaco. I am a resident here in CR and this is a perfect spot for friends or family who want to be close to the action but not right in the center of it. We stayed here over new years eve. The home has beautiful views angles perfectly for a sunset. Everything was clean, in place and all the staff from booking to check out were friendly and helpful. 5 ***** Estrellas

Everything You Need!

This property was awesome! Plenty of space and all the things you would need and expect to find. Patricia was terrific! She met us at the property and got us settled in with lots of local information. Beware the view from the balcony... makes it hard to get out of the chair!

View of a lifetime

The views of this unit are stunning. With excellent ocean and mountain views, it is easy to watch exotic birds like Jaco's famed Scarlet Macaws (red parrots with blue and yellow wings for U.S. folks) and pelicans flying in gorgeous formations. The condo has nice finishes and a attention-to-detail. Well appointed. While Costa Rica is safe, but I appreciated the guards situated on the beach and at the road, guarding the parking lot of the property. All of the property staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. :-) Forest is very communicative and sends great tips to make your stay easier. This end of the beach is really nice and far less crowed than some other spots in the middle. The property is situated on the far end of town, but it's easy to get to Jaco's main strip with a 4 minute car ride or a 15 minute walk along the beach.

Quiet, Relaxing and Gorgeous Views

Great location away from the hustle and bustle. A short/cheap taxi into the mess when you want/need it. Things you may like or may not like but it is good to know: 1) Property is protected by walls/gates/armed guards/video 2) Working girls are prohibited from joining you, this includes in-home massage services 3) the pool bar is not staffed, it is for your use. Like I said, you may or may not like any of these but you should know. I would stay here again ...

Paradise

Tres Regalos was a wonderful resort!! The guards at the front and back entrances were super nice!! It was a quite resort, a great getaway!! Crocs next door had a non stop party and music on the weekend, but the weekdays were lazy!! We were a short walk or taxi ride to Jaco town!! We felt safe and had fabulous adventures that were close by!! We 4 wheeled, zip lined, deep sea fished and hiked!!! All the excursions were reasonable!! Costa Rica basic supplies, like groceries were expensive!!! I would definitely recommend the resort!! Forest, the owner, was very kind and very easy to work with!! He even set up our pick up and drop off accommodations !! It’s about a 90 min drive from the airport! Our driver Donald took us on a mini tour on the way to the resort!!

The Best in Jaco!

We stayed at this gorgeous condo for the month of November 2019. We have stayed at dozens of VRBO properties world-wide, and have never experienced a more informative and responsive host. The unit is exactly as described, and has stunning views from the large balcony. This is definitely the best end of the beach in terms of sand and surf! All furnishings are highly comfortable, rooms are large, and everything is in excellent working condition. The condo grounds are immaculately maintained and the 24/7 Security Staff are friendly and helpful. As recommended by Our Host Forest, our driver Donald was careful, considerate, and always on time. This was our second one month stay in Jaco during November and is quiet with great weather. Many, many thanks to Forest who made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

"Host-a" Rica

Note: please do not use our names regarding this review. The condo was lovely but it was Forest and his generosity of information and prompt replies to our messages that enhanced our vacation experience before we even set foot in this beautiful country, as well as during our stay. A piece of paradise!!!

This property is absolutely beautiful!! The condo is very spacious and everything is well appointed. We spent lots of time just sitting out on the balcony listening to and watching the waves crash against the rocks. It was just close enough to the main road but far enough away to not have to deal with the crowds. We saw scarlett Macaws, monkeys, and a sloth just across the inlet beside the condo. I would definitely return to this property.

Outstanding, with spectacular views!

502 South is a wonderful property, with absolutely breathtaking views of the Oceano Pacifico! Tres Regalos is a small, high-quality condominium complex at the very north end of Playa Jaco (next to Croc's Casino), and also features an outstanding salt water pool. 502S is a well-appointed two-bedroom unit, with very comfortable king-size beds in both bedrooms. The kitchen and living room areas are comfortable -- and the outdoor patio is the real highlight, particularly at sunset (about 5.45 pm every night). Owner Forest is very knowledgeable about Costa Rica, and provided numerous emails in advance of our visit regarding things to do and enjoy in the Jaco area. For first-time visitors to Costa Rica, Forest has also written an easy-to-read book about life in CR entitled "Tarantulas in the Pool", available on Amazon. We highly recommend both the condo, and the book! We will be back. PURA VIDA! 😎

Amazing view

Beautiful and well equipped 2 bedroom condo in Jaco beach. Very easy access to everything, secure parking and really nice grounds. We were there over the Christmas holidays and enjoyed the beach access and the kids loved swimming in the river beside. Our host was fantastic, sent us tones of information and made it very easy for all of us. I recommend this place and will definitely return!
