Quiet home away from home

This is a wonderful home for relaxing and having family time. Lots of room, comfy beds, good hot water and peaceful country setting.

Great VRBO and host

A friend and I stayed here for a fishing tournament and there was plenty of parking / plug ins and the house was very nice and clean. William (host) was very helpful and even gave us an extension cord to use as we forgot to bring one.

Deer, turkeys, pheasants, and fish!!

Wildlife abounds in the area and the fishing in Spitit lake region is filled with variety as well. A great place to stay and enjoy it all.

Property and location checked all the boxes!

Very comfortable house for four adults. House and property was well maintained and we loved the location. We never knew Iowa had so much to offer. We would love to come back again!

Quiet country home.

This country home is very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the mornings and evenings where it was so much cooler than the weather we have in south central Texas. We highly recommend it for a quiet country getaway.

Restful and Quiet

Clean, spacious and quiet place to relax. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms, big deck in the trees with birds, found what we needed in the kitchen. Close to so many public access areas for lakes and river. Kind hosts that respond promptly.

It’s in a perfect location if you prefer quiet and relaxation while being a few minutes drive away from the action. Nice sized house, included everything you need plus more. Very clean. Very impressive!

It was very relaxing and peaceful. It was a beautiful setting. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening, reading and relaxing. As we were leaving in the morning we met the owner who was very nice and you could tell he enjoyed being a host. It’s a charming little farmhouse built in 1906 but has been refurbished with a modern kitchen and bath.

Quiet escape

This was a great stay. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the home throughout. It was very quiet. My wife and I prefer rentals over hotels even if we have to drive further. This was a great home for quiet contemplation and reading. It was nice to meet Will and he and his family were right next door. Thanks for a very relaxing stay.

Convenient, Clean, Covered

All the bases were covered! The house was super clean, the area we wanted was convenient and the kitchen was well stocked! The hosts provided more than we were accustomed to and it was very thoughtful even though as seasoned travelers we brought our own. Planning on staying again! The Warrens
