Location, location, location! Många människor känner den här egenskapen liknar vara på en husbåt. Den rymliga däcket är direkt över vattnet i sjön San Cristobal. Du kan höra kluckande vågor när du läser eller äta på den härliga främre däck. De majestätiska bergen som omger sjön är gröna på sommaren, asp täckt under hösten, och snötäckta på vintern.

Området är väl känt för sina fem fjorton tusen fot bergstoppar. Vandring på de många omgivande spår följer bäckar, vattenfall och dalar fyllda med blommor. Det finns också underbara alpina Loop som tar jeepar och fyrhjulingar över Continental Divide till det höga landet land bergs Shepherds och tundra. Silverton och spökstäder som Animas Forks är också längs denna väg.

Naturligtvis fiskarna tror att detta är paradiset. Sjön och alla de omgivande vattendrag ger underbar fiske. I september Lake City har en vin och musikfestival. På vintern finns det rikligt med snöskor, längdskidåkning, snöskoter, och isklättring. Skönheten och lugnet i skogen vid den här tiden erbjuda upplevelser att bli ihågkommen. Peaceful

This home was in the most incredible spot. What a view ! Nicely furnished and very comfortable. The only negative would be the master shower. Needs some updating and love. Otherwise it was perfect.

Great views and location

The location is great for hiking and off-roading, just off the start of the Alpine Loop. The views off the deck are awesome. We enjoyed sitting out there in the late afternoons after a day hiking. Owner proactively let us know of a couple of minor issues and was quick to respond when needed. Easy to find and short drive into town. Bed in main bedroom is very soft. Too soft for us but this is personal preference. Place is starting to show age with decor and with several appliances not working or not working well. Was not dirty but wasn’t particularly clean either.

Wonderful place to enjoy the Lake City area

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and we think it is great, right on the lake, easy access to town. We spent all of both days we were there fishing on the lake spending time with the granddaughters. I will stay there anytime I come to Lake City.

Lovely and quiet place to stay

The cabin was very well stocked with everything that we needed. The owner is right next door and very happy to answer questions and tell you the best places to go. We had been to Lake City twice before and love it. There are so many trails to explore and wildlife to see.

Beautiful location

I surprised my wife by bringing her here for our 25th anniversary and she absolutely loved it and we’re already trying to plan our trip back. My only regret is not staying longer. I recommend at least a week. We loved that the deck is right on the water and the house has everything you need to feel at home just bring your clothes and food!

Great stay in Lake City

We love Lake City in the winter; we have the place all to ourselves and our stay here was wonderful. Fantastic location with outstanding views, beautiful and clean space. Excellent MB with great sitting area with breathtaking views. Highly recommend.

Simply Gorgeous

We have stayed at this property once before and loved it so much that we couldn't wait to come back. We love to kayak and it is so convenient to have the lake right there out the back door. The view and scenery are absolutely gorgeous and we will never tire of staying in this beautiful, comfortable condo!

Gorgeous and peaceful

Do not hesitate to book this townhome! The view is absolutely beautiful and the townhome is gorgeous. Everything you would need will be here and check in is a breeze. Such a peaceful area and the owner is very quick to respond if you should have any questions. The beds are very comfortable and has tasteful decor.

No complaints...the place was spotless, beds were comfy, we had everything we needed. Did some fishing every day right off the deck. Views were exactly like the listing showed...incredible. We can't wait to go back next year!

Breathtaking mountain lake view

This property is everything described in listing and more. Everything was clean and very well stocked. We lacked for nothing. My favorite place was the deck overlooking the beautiful lake nestled between the mountains. Kathryn was a great hostess. We would certainly return.

Relaxing place

Pro: Beautiful setting on the lake Can fish from the deck Good towels in bathroom A tray with condiments in the kitchen and coffee filters and laundry detergent provided Chairs in the master bedroom very comfortable Hair dryers provided along with shampoo, conditioner and soap. Cons: Dim lighting over dining table (it was hard to play cards) Light out in 2nd bedroom so really dark in there. Coffee pot needs cleaning. Very slow. Had to keep the balcony door in the master bedroom locked so it was always a little too warm upstairs when first going to bed. (It does cool off with the open windows but not till late in the night) The couple staying in the extra bedroom thought it was warm also. But they put a fan in the window and another one facing the bed and it got cool as the night wore on. All in all I would recommend staying here. (The cons were not dealbreakers-just minor things.)

Main vacay

Staying right on Lake San Cristobal is truly a treasure. This townhome makes it extra special. In this unit you can fish right from the Trex type dock. The double decks are out-fitted with nice furniture, a grill and beautiful flowers. Inside is well maintained with a ‘cabin’ feel decor. The kitchen is stocked with appropriate pans/utensils/kitchenware. We appreciated the Pendleton blankets to wrap around us as we sat on the deck in the cool(cold) mornings. Bed linens and bath towels were nice. The only con was the lighting in the living/dining—it is dark in the evening and more light is needed. This would not stop me from staying there again, though. We thoroughly loved this unit (we’ve stayed in others) and this one is our favorite because the access to fishing or canoeing right off the dock is set up so nice! Magical!

Perfect

This condo was so inviting and comfortable. Beautiful decor, comfortable beds and bedding, all dishes/appliances provided and, of course, the location is magnificent! Right on Lake San Cristobal. The property manager checked in more than once to make sure our stay was pleasant. Perfect!!

My husband and I live in Colorado Springs ,Co. We live in the foothills with views of the city and the mountains. So why did we buy property in the mountains when we already live in the mountains? Because of the lake! Not many spots in CO. where you can have MOUNTAINS AND LAKE! JUST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

Again , we bought it because our deck is literally right over the water. The serenity of water and mountains is a powerful combination. We were also attracted to a REAL western small town. It is NOT a hectic commercial .mountain town. You can still experience a
by gone era here . Something that's fun to share with our grandchildren.

This is an end property . That says a lot! It is quiet and is your own! i do interior design work ,so it was a natural for me to see the possibilities of this unique property and I ran with it! I have had a wonderful time decorating my mountain home. It is fun western - log beds, antler light fixtures, deer wallpaper, western real art but not cutesy. It makes me feel good to be in joyful surroundings, and paying attention to detail is my thing.
