Was a great house a block off the main road. We were very close to Lake Pepin. We were in a great neighborhood and neighbors were very friendly. Jessica was very easy to communicate with. We did stay a month and would have liked a television in the main part of the house. We enjoyed our month in Lake City!

It was a perfect place for what we were looking for. Our daughter got married in the area that weekend. The place fit our needs; it was nice to have a garage to park in during a storm and it was a cute updated modern home. The only cons were there was no TV in the living room, the freezer hadn't been cleaned and the grass needed to be mowed. The owner was quick to answer when we had an issue getting in one night and quickly fixed the situation which was greatly appreciated!!

Everything we needed!

What a beautiful place to call home for a few days! We were in town for our granddaughters wedding and staying here allowed more family time together than a hotel room ever could. The place was beautiful and Jessica was very helpful with all we needed. Very clean and comfortable! We would definitely like to visit again and enjoy this beautiful area.

Relaxing Stay by the Lake!

When we arrived, we were completely impressed by the cleanliness of the property. Jessica did an amazing job getting the house ready for our stay. We enjoyed the closeness to Ohuta Beach, the small downtown area and the access to the great backyard! Our children really enjoyed the firepit in the back as well. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Great getaway weekend.

We hadn't been to the area in years and decided to make a long weekend of it with friends. Our VRBO rental in Lake City was perfect. Very clean, comfortable beds, and close to area attractions. We hiked for miles at Frontenac State Park just a few miles down the road, took in the Eagle Center in Wabasha, and ventured over to towns on the Wisconsin side of the river. Beautiful scenery, great fall colors, and good places to eat.

6/10 Okej

It was a nicely renovated house although lacked comfort. Furniture was very uncomfortable, beds are very hard and pillows were not great. The bathroom lacked hand towels and washcloth quality was poor. There were no dish towels in the kitchen, just one sponge. We felt a lack of deep cleaning was evident, many cobwebs in the lights above kitchen island and toilet was not deep cleaned. Also, lack of toilet paper and tissues. Description said there was "bag toss game" in garage, that was not true. There was firepit, which we enjoyed but had to get our own wood, lighter, etc. Said it sleeps 6 - because of a pullout couch but there were no curtains or shades on the living room windows. Huge privacy issue with very large windows open to the street. I also question the extra guest fee - we had 3 people. Is it really a 2-person home when you advertise it sleeps 6? Not the best value overall. Would not stay again.

Some of what is stated in this review is untrue! Very disappointing to read this review. We always provide extra toilet paper and we have two boxes of tissues and very comfortable pillows and furniture! 😔 sad to hear this as they didn’t communicate any questions or dissatisfaction with us.
