Nestled in the 500-year-old historic Spanish colonial city of Old San Juan. This Villa is the ideal basecamp for larger groups to explore Old San Juan history, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen, spectacular private interior patio. We recommend this villa for the adventurous type of travelers who is looking to stay at a truly unique property.

You will love the combination of old world colonial design and new world amenities such air conditioning throughout the villa, an updated kitchen, wifi, TV, and a flat screen TV. The location is ideal for those looking to be close to the action in Old San Juan, located less than a block from the busy nightlife and restaurants of Calle San Sebastian and a short walk from El Morro Spanish fort.
The villa comfortably sleeps 7 adults.

As soon as you enter the villa an iconic design feature of the colonial architecture Old San Juan is famous for. You will see the living room has a large and comfortable sofa and a flat screen TV. There is a dining room directly besides the large and kitchen. The kitchen has a counter with barstools, stove with oven, microwave, fridge, and everything you would need for an expended stay.

Open the french door and you see an open interior patio you get to the rooms.
Take the open stairs and go directly to the additional bedrooms with a bathroom.
on the second floor you have a bedroom with a king size bed and the second bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bed.
There is window A/C on the bedrooms.

I will have as much or as little interaction as you feel comfortable with 24 hours Prior to arrival, you'll receive a long message which includes all the important check in instructions.

Staying in Old San Juan is a truly unique experience. The charm and character you will experience in the 500 year-old is one of a kind. From Villa San Justo you can comfortably walk to anywhere within Old San Juan. We recommend taking a cab from the airport and using uber or taxi while you stay at Old San Juan. This is a true walkable location with everything you need a short walk away. Renting a car is not necessary unless you are planning on road tripping. The villa does not include parking

There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites, all within walking distance:

Explore the El Morro Fort. There are daily tours of the fort and the large green areas have spectacular ocean views. Take a tour, have a picnic, and fly a kite. This is a must do.
Explore the iconic Calle San Sebastian nightlife. There is a large assortment of bars on this strip which is a favorite among locals Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Breakfast at “La Bombonera”. This is a Puerto Rican landmark well known for its locally inspired breakfast and pastries.
Take a stroll around “Paseo La Princesa”, a waterfront walkway which you can start off at El Morro and finish of the walk with a rum tasting at Princesa Gastrobar at the end of the trail.
We recommend taking a cab from the airport and using uber or taxi while you stay at Old San Juan

NO PARKING STREET FOR VISITOR.
ONLY FOR RESIDENCE ($250 FINE).
There are 2 parking decks on the south side of the city – on Recinto Sur. There is also a parking lot past these decks, at La Puntilla (this is very inexpensive). The parking deck on the North shore of Old San Juan is under the Ballaja building, just off of Norzagaray Street.

AMENITIES: All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 1 bath towels per guest (no wash towels) and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. We provide the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities are limited include soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 2 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, dish soap and a dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

Please remember that you're staying in a private apartment, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect.
If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. There will only be a limited amount of paper goods provided, shampoo, soap, etc. Shopping is close by.

If you are traveling to PR, we are sure you are aware that the island suffered extreme damage due last hurricane Maria in 2017. The instability of power on the Island is Still a reality in our lives. We have no control
If the electricity goes, it’s just a matter of patience, it will come back soon.
The Old city has more than 500 year sometimes the water pressure is no good and can affect the hot water this is out of our control.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Great Location!

I have always wanted to stay in Old San Juan but with a family, it’s hard to find a place that is large enough to be comfortable. Well, this place was comfortable and more! It was so unique, with a beautiful courtyard between the kitchen and living room areas and first bedroom with a bathroom. The courtyard has steps that lead to two more bedrooms and a second bathroom. The location is very close to the San Sebastián street, El Morro, and many areas that both tourists and locals will love to visit, and can easily be accessed on foot. Parking is tricky, as the Balllaja lot gets full often, but we were lucky to find street parking. You have to look for street parking fast and early, especially on weekends. You won’t be sorry if you book this apartment for your family. Enjoy the old city!

Heart of Old San Juan

Beautiful place to stay if you are looking for an authentic Old San Juan experience. Located near the highest point in Mercado on a beautiful blue brick street. Parking is an easy 3 minute walk away. Ocean views from the front doors of the home... Incredible stay with three comfortable bedrooms.

Terrible communication and dirty, but good location

Property owner did not share exact location of property with me until 4 hrs prior to check in, despite my multiple requests. Rental was uncleaned with spills and garbage all over the floor when we arrived to check-in at 4 pm. Neighbors from the adjacent unit rushed over to clean it up. They questioned which unit we had reserved, but were unable to understand more about the situation from them because they only spoke Spanish. When I called the owners, they claimed the cleaning crew was almost finished - when they clearly had not even started. The furniture throughout the unit was stained and broken. The chairs in the patio area were unusable because they were busted in the seat, and the pond was dry and messy. There were stains on the ceiling and several cracks and holes in the stucco on the walls. On the plus side, the location was terrific, easily walkable to anything in Old Town San Juan. The nearby bars and clubs are very noisy late into the night, but the sound from the a/c window units hides it fairly well.
