This was such an amazing place to spend with our family. We enjoyed the creek, and very comfortably roomy enough to just rest and recoup from a busy season.

This was a wonderful get away, it's very far off the beaten path and surrounded by the wonders of the beautiful Oregon landscape, We hiked and fished the river and if it wasn't raining would have loved to swim right in the back yard. It's completely off grid and didn't miss a beat in regards to lighting and use of appliances. Home was complete with all the comforts and if you are a large party this will accommodate you. The Linens were clean and towels nice and fluffy. The water was hot and pressure was great after a long hike. The bathtub was not just beautiful but highly functional and filled up quickly for our littles. We are big cooks and bakers and the oven cooked a huckleberry pie to perfection and the grill turned out phenomenal Steaks. I am quite picky and this met my expectations. If you love the great outdoors but still want some nice comforts near by, this is for you. thanks so much!

This cabin is a work of art, beautifully built. The beds are excellent, the living areas comfortable, the surround porch a real treat. The nesting swallows were beautiful and entertaining. We had no mosquitoes! There's a large, outdoor playing area, and the stream behind the cabin is very peaceful. One can find swimming holes nearby. Cory responds to every question quickly and warmly. We had a family reunion with folks arriving from all over North America, and it was perfect for us. There are dozens of spices and indoor games. We carefully planned our food and drink needs ahead of time because there are no stores nearby (and our planning worked out perfectly). Our only request would be to add a couple outdoor games. Thanks, Cory, for hosting us so well.

Refreshing

The fire last year made the Cabin very isolated and quiet. We enjoyed long walks, grilled out many of our meals, and had every amenity we needed. Thank you for making our stay welcoming and wonderful. We would highly recommend this.

Great place for family reunion!

The property was perfect for our 3 generation reunion. The kitchen supplies, games, bedding, towels (inside & out) ,beds & tvs were plentiful. We grilled outside, played most of the days finding swimming holes up & down the creek. Also fishing, catch & release was great. We Loved lying on the porch at night watching the constellations and shooting stars. Everyone wants to visit every year! Ages 6 - 83!

This is a beautifully maintained low carbon footprint cabin. The wraparound deck is amazing. We had 11 people in our family group, with 10 sleeping over. We are cooks and enjoy family meals and found the kitchen and grill were excellent. You need to come fully prepared with your food as there are no grocery stores nearby. There are plenty of spices and dishes in the cabinets. The kitchen table was just a little tight for our group for Sunday morning breakfast and evening dinners. We took advantage of fishing at the North Shore boat launch about 13 miles away. Bringing our own gear we played Pickleball, softball, and basketball on the property in the large front yard during daylight hours and in the evenings, played poker and dominoes. For wildlife we saw a doe with two fawns, eagles, hawks, western tanagers, hummingbirds, stellar jays, and ducks and ducklings.Communication with our host was excellent. I would recommend this site for a self-sufficientfamily looking to get away for a quiet weekend.

The house was very comfortable and the overall process was very smooth and we had no problems. The place is remote and the owner appropriately advised us in advance. Given that our group was 10 (originally booked for 12), it would have been helpful if the house would have been more well stocked with toilet paper. its about an hour drive to buy anything.

Amazing property

This place worked out great for us! The cabin is really nice, well kept, and well stocked with everything we needed. There is so much to do in this area. The kids loved playing around the pond catching tadpoles. The creek is really nice, kid friendly, and offered good fishing while we were there. The property manager was super responsive and flexible. Being off-grid setup I expected it to be more rustic and limited than It really is, that didn't really effect our stay. My only small gripe was the Traeger grill/smoker, It was finicky and a propane grill would be easier for most people. We did make some amazing smoked trout on it though!
