Paradise hittades. I det ögonblick du kommer in i porten till Harbour Island börjar dina bekymmer smÀlta bort. Harbour Island Àr en liten, avslappnad, privat ö med över 2 mil sanddyner och sockersandstrand. Det finns ingen allmÀn tillgÄng sÄ stranden Àr alltid orolig. Aktiviteter finns i överflöd, fiske, crabbing, skalning, kajakpaddling och cykling och mycket mer.
Det finns bara nÄgra villor vid havet pÄ ön, och de ligger i antingen D- eller K-byggnaderna. VÄr enhet Àr i K som Àr mer avskild och privat Àn D. K ligger ocksÄ nÀrmare Beach and Raquet Club, som Àr öns aktivitetscenter. Klubben har en olympisk pool, barnpool och lekplats. Klubbhuset har ett aerobt rum och viktrum pÄ lÀgre nivÄ. PÄ övervÄningen finns en snackbar och butik och en tÀckt balkong. Du hittar ocksÄ volleyboll, basket, tennis, shuffle board och hÀstsko domstolar.
VÄr villa Àr perfekt för din strandsemester. Inuti enheten pÄ lÀgre nivÄ hittar du ett bekvÀmt vardagsrum med havsutsikt, 55 tums platt-TV med dvd och elektrisk spis. Det finns en bÀddsoffa med dubbelsÀng, dubbla liggande kÀrleksstolar och en Lay-Z-Boy vilstol. Det finns ocksÄ ett vÀlutrustat kök, matplats och 1/2 bad. Slutligen, steg genom de skjutbara glasdörrarna pÄ balkongen. DÀr hittar du ett bord, stolar, parasoll, schÀslong och en av de bÀsta utsikten pÄ ön.

Wonderful and quiet location! Check in was easy and entire trip was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed plenty of time in the sand and sun while surf fishing as well.

weekend getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this beachfront condo. It was well equipped, clean and comfortable for the two of us. The location can not be beat and the walkway to the ocean is directly down the steps. Beautiful and quiet yet close to a few bars/restaurants. Everything you could want for a few days on the beach! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great space in a great location

We loved our stay here. The condo, the view, access to the beach, and community amenities (fitness center, multiple pools, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts) were all excellent. Would definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again ourselves.

Exceptional Island Vacation

Excellent oceanfront view, clean and beautiful villa, beautiful beach, great pools, excellent local restaurants, great area for walking and running. Enjoyed watching the dolphins and seabirds. Will definitely return.

Low country experience

The property overall was nice. Beautifully landscaped to attract butterfly. The boardwalk made the beach access a breeze. Loved watching the tide come in. Pelican point was a treat with all the different water birds. Enjoyed the history of the area. There was a problem in the unit that I sent a message to the host and he quickly responded that he would address it.

Second stay

This was our second stay at the property. We love the location. The wildlife around the area is spectacular. The unit was exactly as shown in the photos and the same as our last stay, besides a few upgrades. We spent time at the property, the beach, the pool and Hunting Island State Park. We will absolutely be back and be back to this same unit. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Stay for the money!

We booked this property for a week for its location between Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA for day trips to these cities, as well as, exploring historical Beaufort, SC, the beach, and surrounding Parks. This property was not all as advertised. It stated that it was newly renovated but none of the locks in this unit were operational, including the front door, windows on both levels, and the slider to the deck. Window and slider to the deck on the lower level are secured with cut broom handles. To be fair, the unit is in a great location with beautiful views of the ocean. When we arrived on Friday to check in, the front door to the unit was wide open! We could not get the door to lock consistently. Additionally, the bathroom sink was completely clogged and would not drain! We contacted the owner/ host to let him know of these conditions and the fact that we did not feel comfortable leaving the without being able to lock up the unit. The owner tried to rationalize that it was a "gated community" and there was not that much crime! That was NOT a reasonable or acceptable response to leave our possessions, and for that matter, the unit unsecured! The repairman arrived on Monday - Sunday was Mother's Day - to fix the sink and front door lock. Bottom line - it took until late morning on Wednesday to get the front door lock situation corrected. He then wanted us to wait until 5:30 later that day to have someone to reprogram the lock. Told him that was unacceptable as we were NOT going to lose another full day waiting on them to get this completed. We were essentially stuck in the unit for almost a week - missing out on exceptional weather and our plans to explore the area. Needless to say, we were left with only Wednesday afternoon and Thursday - barely 2 of the 7 days of our planned vacation! The Host/owner offered NO compensation or Partial Refund for these circumstances that were completely beyond our control that should be regularly checked/ scheduled maintenance, or for that matter, part of the renovations as advertised! It just wasn't an enjoyable vacation for the amount of money paid for the unit and the lost vacation days we had to experience waiting for repairs!

This place was amazing! We will most definitely be staying here again. However, I wish the listing was more accurate in regards to how many steps there were. We were aware that the bedrooms were up stairs, but thought the first floor was ground level. Maybe common sense should have told us that it was the second floor, but the listing could have explicitly said that. It was not as elderly friendly as we were expecting, but everyone still enjoyed their stay. In total, there is about 20 steps up to the entrance of the unit, and another 15 to the second floor.

Family getaway

We had a fabulous time at the condo. Loved how close it was to two different pools and the beach. Enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and it’s next door to Hunting Island which was amazing. My mom was even lucky enough to see a baby sea turtle make its way down the beach one morning. 10/10

R&R extended weekend

The community was so peaceful, calm and relaxing. The condo was just perfect for my husband and I. We did some exploring and went on self guided tours in Beaufort as well. The beach was very nice. We did find a few whole shells on our walks and seen a few jelly fish. Highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a show down. It was just what we needed. Also recommend Foolish Frog for a great dinner with a view.

Relaxing

Beautiful island. The house was clean and had a killer view of the sunrise every morning. Got to see a lot of unique wildlife. The bone yard beach on Hunting island 10 minutes away is a must while staying. The best part i must say is the isolation. With limited people on the Island, its nice not having an over crowded beach.

Beautiful

This is a lovely property with a magnificent view of the ocean right from the main bedroom and the living room downstairs. There is a boardwalk pretty much right outside your door that leads to the beach. Absolutely perfect! We love Hunting Island and that's only 6 minutes away. My husband and I very much enjoyed staying here.

Perfect Getaway

We wanted to go somewhere quiet along the coast and this turned out to be the perfect spot! The location was great and the condo had everything we needed, including a very comfortable deck. The sunrises from the unit were gorgeous and walking along the beach was so relaxing. Will look forward to going back!

I asked to cancel or reschedule due to a Hurricane forecasted to hit the day we arrived. The owner said it wasn't coming close to his property. It did hit our area and it was the worst storm ever. Cat4 The condo had roaches and the furniture was very uncomfortable. The owner was very difficult to work with

My wife grew up in Naples, Florida before it was discovered and overdeveloped. She wanted a place where the Beach was always uncrowded and the atmosphere relaxing and casual. Such a Beach does not exist anymore in Florida. We searched the coast until we discovered Harbor Island.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love this Villa because of the Beautiful Uninterrupted View of the Dunes and Ocean. It's just steps from 2 Swimming Pools and the Club House with all the Amenities is just across the street. We feel it's the best location on the Island
