Family Vacation

This property is perfect for a small family for vacation! The home is clean, beautiful, and every detail has been well thought out. The location is great on the island and the pool is lovely to relax in when you need a break from the beach! The host is great to communicate with and very responsive. This is our second stay in the home and we hope to be back again!

Perfect week for our family of 4

Our first time visiting N Captiva and we quickly eased into island living. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch and swimming in the pool. A quick walk or ride to the beaches, fishing and ice cream.

Perfect North CaptivaA getaway!

Lovely home that was perfect for our family of three. Close to beach and Mangos, great pool. We loved every minute! Appreciated the kitchen had newer gadgets and tools that made cooking easy.

Family vacation

This property was perfect for our family of four. The island is beautiful. The house had everything we needed and the pool was perfect for when we need a break from the ocean. Would love to come back and enjoy it all again. The owner was very responsive and well organized making for a wonderful trip!

One of the best VRBO experiences

Great house, great island, great time. The house was just as described, actually even better. It was well stocked and very well furnished. The island was great and the management company was great. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable and very relaxing get away!

Perfect getaway

Beautiful well maintained property. Wonderful place to take a real break. Very quiet island. Spent hours walking the beach and passed a few people. My kids loved all the shells!!

Magic Po’cean

We loved our stay here. House was nice and clean. Everything we needed was there. The bed were very comfortable. The pool setup was great. Loved that the screened in porch overlooked pool. Staff was very helpful. Would stay again!

The home suits its name Magic Po'Ocean! Beautiful home on North Captiva. Home was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a good location. We had a wonderful family vacation.

True magic at Magic Po’cean!

We absolutely loved the house and island! Everything was welcoming and perfect- the house, the screen porch, pool, island club, beaches! We saw manatees, turtles, dolphins and even a few snakes :). Thanks for an amazing week for our family! Our kids rated it the best one ever!!

Family vacation

I was very nervous about staying on an island with practically nothing there, but it turned out to be the best vacation ive ever been on. It was beautiful and so peaceful. Lots & lots of shells! I will definitely come back and visit the island again someday!

PERFECT for FAMILY !!!!

Our family travels a lot and this house had EVERYTHING we needed. Fully equipped kitchen with all the things we needed. Cindy was so responsive and very helpful. We would definitely come back!!!

Great family vacation

This house is brand new with a heated pool! All the extra essentials needed for a great stay on the island are included. We really enjoyed the dining table on the screened in porch. Many thanks to the owner and management company for providing a seamless experience, one of the best. - R

Relaxing Time on North Captiva

Our family of four had a wonderful stay on North Captiva. The home and property are as pictured--clean and comfortable. Pool was a great size and the basketball hoop provided hours of fun. We appreciated the screened-in porch which allowed us to be outside even when the mosquitos were out. The included wagon, chairs, and Sun Ninja shade made beach days very easy. Kitchen had all of the utensils/dishes that we needed. Owner and property manager were quick to respond to questions, etc.

Beautiful clean and well maintained

We have been to North Captiva about 7-8 times, and this was our favorite house so far! The house was very clean and in great condition. The owner was very responsive prior to check in and provided regular updates as the island had sustained some hurricane damage. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. The pool area was very nice and pool temperature was set very comfortable and warm. The house was very well stocked and comfortable. We can't wait to return!

Great time at the Magic P'Ocean

This was our third trip to North Captiva and second at Magic P'Ocean. The house is perfect for 4 and comes along with a highly stocked kitchen, and enclosed pool area with a special space for the dog to do her duty. We really appreciated the heated pool that came along with no added costs. We had some trouble getting the attention of the property manager a few times on some minor issues, but since it was Easter week I suspect they were very busy.

Absolute perfection in paradise

The owners have thought of everything with this home! It is new & clean & the furnishings are nice. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds & bedding are very comfortable, the screened in porch with table & chairs & an outdoor couch are cozy, the reliable golf cart was perfect for cruising the island, the heated saltwater pool was a family favorite of ours. There are many extras in the house like additional sheets & pillows, pool toys, sun screen, books, puzzles, umbrellas, etc. The location of the home was perfect, a short walk to the beach.

Wow!!

What a wonderful property! The house is spacious, beautiful, clean and simply spectacular. The host has thought of everything and the home is very well equipped. The pool was bigger than we anticipated. I do have to mention that it required to have water added a few times we were there and the well water from the hose smells strongly of sulfur. We absolutely loved our stay at this property and on North Captiva Island.

Amazing vacation, house, and location!

Magic Po'cean is the perfect house for a small family or (in our case) a couple of couples! Nice kitchen, living room to relax and watch TV at night if desired, a true master bedroom with bath, and a second convertible bedroom that can essentially have it's own private attached bath just by locking the hall entry door. The owners are amazing! It's great having a responsive owner in case there are any issues, but it's also nice having a good property management company taking care of you. As of this review, the house is managed by Tortuga Properties and the service and help they provided was top notch. We don't plan on staying in a North Cap house again that ISN"T managed by Tortuga. The house is furnished nicely, the pool is heated to perfection and provides a nice combo of sun and shade (if desired) for relaxation after a day at the beautiful beach. And the beach is just a short golf cart drive - or even a reasonable walk - away from the house. We loved our stay at Magic Po'cean and can't wait to do it aggain!

Magic P'Ocean Review

This is our third year in a row staying on North Captiva. This is a great home with fantastic owners. We got a less than desirable start but this was not due to the home or to the owners, but due to Tortuga, the local management company. However, after reaching out to the homeowners we almost immediately had our issues resolved, which is all you can ask for. Ultimately the home itself was very clean, well equipped, and a slice of paradise. The screened in porch kept the bugs out and the pool was clean and had no issues. Other homes had some hurricane damage remaining and there was work being done all over the island during the duration of our stay, but this is to be expected and wasn't overly intrusive. The beaches are still beautiful and we wanted to stay another week! If you are hesitant to bring your tourism back to the island after the hurricane, don't be. The owners and businesses need you and if you loved the island before, that won't change. Overall, I would strongly recommend this property and its owners.
