Girl's Weekend

I recently rented this VRBO for a weekend getaway with friends. The location was convenient – just outside Atlanta and close to 85, which made getting around easy. The house was mostly clean and provided a comfortable stay. We did encounter a few dead bugs, and some active bugs, which was a bit off putting. However, these minor issues didn’t significantly impact our overall experience. Despite this, we had a pleasant stay, and appreciated the proximity to the city and the surrounding areas.

Convenient

The location was very convenient to stores and highway. Several items were broken and it was very dusty. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The backyard furniture was rusty and untidy. The housekeeper kept getting supplies from backyard so we didn't feel privacy. The price should be less because it is very small with minimal furniture. The best part was the property manager

Not Bad, but not great either

Hmmm, the property definitely has potential but its those "little things" that bring this stay down. Simple things like, the blinds are all damaged, no window treatments covering the rear *exterior door* and master bathroom windows that gives CLEAR visibility inside and also the bifold doors on the laundry room, one set, was not attached. The living room space is nicely decorated and the bedrooms are comfortable. The owner needs to pay some attention to those small nuances that could truly move this into a more inviting property that individuals believe align with the photographs provided for leasing.

1. Musty smell throughout 2. Broken blinds in living room and master bedroom 3. Need Rug on entryway inside the house. It was raining. The only rug was outside which is wet and dirty. The living room joins directly as you open the front door. Hard to keep hygiene with this set up, without a rug inside as you enter living room 4. Quiet neighborhood but unkempt. Lots of trash left in front of house in street. We stayed Friday to Sunday and this wasn’t collected. Very unsightly 5. Large cockroach and lots of insects seen throughout 6. Privacy curtain needed in master bathroom 7. No instructions given on how to lock the front door. You use a number to unlock it but this didn’t work when leaving and took us a while to figure out on the only day we were all out Overall, place was just ok. Reasonably priced if you are on a very tight budget I guess. Personally, I will never stay here again. Thankfully, this was a very brief visit. Could not have imagined staying for longer than the weekend.

Property was as described in listing. Served our short trip well. Great communication with host. Would have liked to have some sort of covering on upstairs bathroom window, but we were able to improvise. Overall was a fine stay. Thanks!
