I vår stuga kommer du att uppleva West Cork nära. Du är omgiven av den vackra naturen omkring dig havet och varierat landskap. Kustlinjen är fantastiska klippor, små sandstränder som inbjuder till bada (Suns), ruiner av svunna tider och överallt de typiska West Cork blommor av ärttörne, fuchsior, Monbretien och många andra växter. Vandrare vid kusten i Tragumna Castel Townshend, upplevde verkligen en av de vackraste kusterna i hela landet, i en jämförelse med Ring of Kerry eller andra mer kända stränder måste. Faktiskt går här inga turistbussar, här är du med enbart naturen. Gång på gång du stöter på magi kelterna: Drombeg Stone Circle, Fort Knock Drum, tre fingrar är bara tre exempel levandegöra det förflutna.

What a lovely little cottage!!

What a lovely little cottage!! We had a great time staying in Trag in the most conveniently located cottage. It’s comfortable with everything you could need, I’m sure we’ll be back!

Ideal getaway in cozy cottage!

Lovely cottage with an AMAZING view that was ideal for our family of 4 for the week. The entire process is seamless - owner responds quickly to queries prior to our arrival and the caretaker was so nice and made herself available if we needed anything...we hope to come again!

Great spot by the sea for a small family

It was in fact more spacious than the pictures had led us to believe. Lovely big back garden too for our daughter to run around in when we were not down at the beach. Housekeeper Siobhan was very helpful and informative Would definitely stay again

Better than you’ll imagine, perfect location,the cottage is gorgeous and considering the weather was cold the inside was very cosy and warm.Honestly it was well beyond expectations as was the host.

Cozy cottage with great access to the south end of Ireland

We spent 9 nights in the cottage making daily road trips to different parts of southern Ireland. The Host, Ursula and the caretaker, Siaphon were absolutely wonderful. Both very kind and personable with lots of tips on where to go for the best sights etc. It's located right on the water with a beautiful view. Everything we needed was there and the Pub next door was quiet and had nightly activities that involved the community. The food there was also amazing. I only wish we had more time to stay. We have no regrets or complaints about our experience.

Cottage at Tragumna

Very nice cottage is picturesque location overlooking the water. About 75' from Skibbereen Eagle pub and a short walk to a nice beach. I had almost no mobile service which wasn't a bad thing. Would certainly stay again.

Die Lage ist das Highlight! Aber auch das kleine Cottage bietet alles, was man für ein paar entspannte Tage braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Frau Lorch ist unkompliziert und Siobhàn, die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort ist super nett und immer erreichbar.

Eenvoudig maar compleet ingericht vakantiehuis, met mooi uitzicht op de baai van Tragumna. Goede bedden en geen geluidsoverlast van de naastgelegen pub - de Skibbereen Eagle. De verroeste kookplaten en doorgezeten bankjes zijn aan vervanging toe. In de advertentie staat dat er internet is, maar dat blijkt niet het geval te zijn. De huurder is aangewezen op de eigen dataverbinding. Siobhan is een hartelijke en behulpzame beheerster.

Hervorragende Sicht auf die Bucht.

Ein uriges Cottage. Mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Super Lage am Meer. Ein gemütlicher Pub in der Nähe. Eine schöne abwechslungsreiche Küste sowohl in direkter Umgebung, als auch für Tagesausflüge. Einkäufe können im in der Nähe gelegenen Ort Sibbereen erledigt werden. Lecker essen kann man in schöner Atmosphäre im Restaurant "Church" in Skibbereen (Danke für den Tipp). Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und vor Ort war problemlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ferien am Altantik

Wir hatten einen schönen und eindrucksvollen Urlaub. Das Cottages ist liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die ruhige Lage und der nahe gelegene Pub haben uns sehr gut gefallen. In Skibbereen, 15 Autominuten entfernt, kann man sich mit allem was benötigt wird versorgen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und zur Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war völlig unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Danke für alles, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Prachtige vakantie

Ideale vakantieplek voor wie houdt van de ongerepte natuur en graag wandelt of fietst. Het huisje is gezellig en ideaal voor twee personen , het heeft alle basis comfort. De open haard is een meerwaarde. Het uitzicht op de zeebaai is adembenemend... Wij kregen zeer veel info van de eigenares en de huisbewaarder Shioban is een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame dame.

Lovely cottage by the sea

We loved our week at this cottage and particularly enjoyed the fantastic view of the sea from the back door. It's right by the beach and literally next door to the pub, and a lot of interesting places and walks are only a short drive away - just take care on those country roads! The cottage was perfectly clean and while we only met housekeeper Siobhan briefly, she was lovely and very helpful. Ursula sent us lots of useful information on the eve of the trip as well and was always very helpful and responsive during the booking process. Overall, we had a brilliant time.

Nett und einfach

Es war alles da was nötig war. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Die Hauswirtin war freundlich und schenkte meinem Mann zum Geburtstag einen Kuchen. Das pub in der Nachbarschaft war natürlich genial. Die Küche war gut bestückt.

Lovely views

We (family of four) had a lovely week in the cottage. We enjoyed the nice views and even saw seals swimming in the bay. The cottage itself was ok. Everything we needed was there. The location is also very nice, close to Skibbereen and a good startingpoint for daytrips to Mizen head or Glengarriff.

Traumhafte Lage am Meer

Wenn auch nicht alles in diesem Haus ganz neu ist, so ist es insgesamt doch gemütlich und recht gut ausgestattet. Die traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer ist kaum zu überbieten. Mary, die Betreuerin des Hauses sprüht vor irischer Herzlichkeit und ist im Zweifel gut zu erreichen.

Our Stay in Trag

We are just back to work today after a week stay in Tragumna . The cottage was absolutely stunning . We are both energy healers so we can pick up on places very easy and the energy in the house is excellent . The view from the cottage is stunning and it changes so much throughout the day and each day it looked different depending on the weather . Country pub next door who serve food from Wednesday to Sunday . We ate here on the first night . It was OK just we didn't go back for any more food after the first night . We did have a drink in the pub and the locals where friendly There is not a shop atall in Trag but your not far from Skibbereen only 5-10 minute drive . The light and heating was €40.00 for the week . If you are with Vodafone Ireland . You will not get an once of coverage at all . Nothing !! I had to hot spot off my other half's phone . He is will Eir . There is no internet in the cottage . The TV has a couple of RTE channnels . The cottage is very clean and has all you need for a break away . We lite the fire 2 nights it was very romantic and cozy . West Cork is so stunning so much to do and we will certainly be back and we would book the cottage again . Thank you Brenda and Paddy .

Quaint, rustic and charming
