Great Stay

This apartment was exactly what we needed for a perfect stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the location could not have been better to either catch the bus or walk a short distance to the tube station. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect flat for a holiday visit!!

We had a great stay at Steve’s flat! The location is fabulous! The apartment is just off Bermondsey Road - so charming with many terrific restaurants. It is about 5 minutes from a bus stop and 10 minutes from the Tube. The flat itself is very nice especially the main living space. It is roomier than the photos show and has a great view of the Shard. The second bathroom is also a big plus. The beds were really comfortable and the apartment had all the necessities. My only suggestion would be to freshen up the bedrooms and bathrooms. Although they were perfectly fine for our stay they are a bit dated and could use a fresh coat of paint, a little organization, and some towel racks in the bathroom. However, this was a small thing and we loved our stay, our communications with Steven were terrific, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing Stay

Steve’s place was everything we needed. He was very accommodating and even allowed us to check in early. The space had everything we hoped for and was in a prime location in the city. When I come back to London, this will be the very first spot. I hope to stay again.

Great stay! Very comfortable Flat! Amazing location!

We had a wonderful stay! The Flat was as stylish and spacious as described. It’s even more comfortable than we expected - very comfortable beds, plenty of linens, including extra towels. The kitchen was better equipped than my home. The Host provided everything we could possibly require. We felt so welcome. Kitchen, dining and living all together in an open generous space. What we weren’t expecting was how fun the local restaurant scene would be! We travelled around the world in a few blocks. There was so much to do, even when it rained! The Host was very easy to reach before, during and after our stay.

Beautiful flat

Lovely flat a short walk to London Bridge station. Plenty of room to relax. Cute neighborhood with lots of dining choices, and walking distance to a small grocery store. Would definitely stay again. The host was very responsive and gave excellent info and directions.

Great flat by The Shard

Our family of 5 (3 boys ages 17, 19 & 21) had a very comfortable stay. It was the perfect flat and location to explore London for the first time. Located in the trendy Bermondsey neighborhood it offers great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. It is a short 1/2 mile walk to the London Bridge station and The Shard, which offers 360-degree views of London for up to 40 miles. Since it was our first time in London we did the hop on/off bus and the stop was a short 10min walk near the Tower Bridge. Liked that the flat was not located in a busy touristy area (most folks seemed to be locals grabbing a beer and meal for lunch or after work), which meant streets weren’t super crowded. It was the last leg of a 17day vacay so also appreciated the washer and dryer. Steve was absolutely amazing…10 out of 10! He provided detailed checkin instructions (w/pictures) and was super prompt to respond to any questions like where is the best local grocery store. We had a late afternoon flight and he graciously allowed a late checkout which we so appreciated. My 21 year old loved London and wants to return and said he wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you!

Spacious apartment in a great location.

What a nice apartment! After traveling in other parts of Europe, we come to this apartment as the last leg of our trip and it feels lavish. And it’s close to everything! We walked to the Tower of London, Shakespeare’s Globe, Borough market; public transport is nearby. Nice shops and restaurants within 5 minutes’ walk. Watch house coffee was our favorite morning stop. Steve was quick to respond to any questions and requests. We had a great stay!

Lovely in London

Everything about this property was perfect for us including size, location, amenities, communication, cleanliness etc. We loved the charm and quiet of the neighborhood as well as the ease of access to public transport. It did get a little hot and would benefit from an extra fan or two, especially in the second bedroom, but we were able to cool it down to comfort level by the time we went to sleep. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit London.

Great London location

Thoroughly enjoyed the well equipped flat in an absolutely perfect location. Easy walk to Boroughs Market and London Bridge station and tons of great places to eat close by. Flat was spacious and well equipped and was in a very safe neighborhood. And Steve is a fabulous host and made sure our visit was perfect. Highly recommend this VRBO!

The flat was exactly as described. Comfy beds, lots of blankets. Fully stocked kitchen. Great location with restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Neighborhood felt safe and walkable. Great apartment in great location

We loved this apartment and Bermondsey is a fantastic location. Apartment is spacious and well appointed with everything we needed as well as being quiet. There are loads of restaurants and coffee shops just outside the mews and Borough Market is a 10 minute walk. The neighbourhood had a great vibe with everyone out and about enjoying the London Summer. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in London.

Great apartment in London

This apartment was first rate in almost every aspect. There was air conditioning but only with a portable unit. We kept the windows open and used the portable unit to help cool the living room and so we ended up very comfortable. The apartment is well appointed with new appliances and comfortable furniture. We especially liked the beds and the living room furniture, but everything in the place was inviting. The neighborhood was full of bars, restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops so that one had lovely choices about where to go. It is also an exciting neighborhood with streets filled with people, mostly young, and local shops enjoying brisk trade. We wish we could have stayed longer. We are happy to recommend this apartment as a great place to stay while you are in London.

Perfect Bermondsey Street Stay

There were 3 adults in our group ages 73, 75, and 77. We found this apartment to be perfect for a stay in London. First it is just off Bermondsey St. in a short quiet street, but it is in this trendy area that had many interesting restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shops, and is alive with the younger set. It is a short easy walk to buses and to London Bridge subway and train station. We went out from L. B. Station every single day. We found everything just to our liking. The apartment itself was very comfortable, bright and very well equipped. It is in a very secure building and we were never worried about being out late or about someone coming in while we were out. The owner could not have been more accommodating! He set up for and early check-in for us and sent excellent directions for checking in and made himself available if there were any other questions. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone young or senior for a stay in London and for ranging out on a rail pass.

We were looking for a place to stay in London for 2 couples traveling together. This is a very spacious and comfortable flat in a neighborhood south of Tower Bridge with lots of pubs and restaurants. The living room has plenty of seating on nice furniture and the kitchen is well stocked. It’s about .6 miles to the nearest tube station where you can get anywhere.

Good choice!

This flat was a great place to stay for our week in London. Steve was very quick to respond to emails and very helpful with local information. Location was an easy walk to the Underground, and neighborhood felt safe even after dark, with many very close by restaurants and shops. The flat was very spacious, beds were comfortable and wifi worked great. Would recommend this to others.

Large London flat in terrific location

Very spacious and well equipped flat, unusually large by London standards. Plenty of room to spread out and cook together. Fantastic neighborhood, right at Bermondsey Street and close to Borough Market. Easy transit access via London Bridge station. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous!

This was a totally fabulous experience. Stephen was informative, kind and helpful. The apartment is beaut. In a fab location, lovely set up, comprehensive cooks kitchen. It was a perfect place to explore London and have Christmas with my kids. Hard recommend. I hope to be back one day!
