Beautiful cabin located in the heart of the Adirondacks on secluded 6.5 acre lot and surrounded by 250 acres. Cabin has two queen bedrooms, two full bathrooms, full kitchen, living room with large wood burning fireplace and dining room. Outdoor fire pit with picnic table and Barbeque grill. High speed internet included. Property is equipped with back up generator. 8 minutes to Gore Mountain, hiking, rafting, skiing, rail biking, mountain biking, lakes, public beaches, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, fishing, golfing and many more activates.

The Barn Shop is located on the premises and has lots of great items! You will find many locate favorites, including fresh farm eggs, maple syrup, baked goods, handmade gifts, woodcrafts, beverages, ice cream, snacks and lots more. You will also find lots of games to use during your stay and Corn Hole Boards for some outdoor fun!

If you love the outdoors or you just want to relax in a private setting, then this property is perfect for you and your family. For larger groups (up to 8) you can rent both cabins.

Great little spot

Spent some time here with my fiancé and parents, it was well stocked and we were able to enjoy the fire pit and cottage as a family relaxing, laughing and just hanging out.

Very cozy and quaint; near to various SW Adirondack attractions. Hosts were pleasant, attentive, but never intrusive. Easy to find. Clean and comfortable, perfect for 4 or fewer.I'm certainly no IT expert, but I wonder if moving the wi-fi router location or adjusting its angle would improve coverage inside the cabin; only a small suggestion as it did not detract from the experience, especially since most guests would book Homestead for access to outdoor experiences, of course!

Beautiful location, beautiful cabin

Cabin was exceptionally clean, warm and cozy. The hosts were very responsive to questions and made the whole process effortless! Location was very convenient to North Creek and Gore Mountain.

Ski weekend at Gore

Such a lovely little cabin, perfectly set up. So convenient with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Super clean, really comfortable beds, and everything you need. Great fireplace! Host was so helpful and responsive to questions, requests for restaurant recommendations etc. Only 11 minutes to the mountain, great location!

excellent locatoin

The cabin was perfect for a couple-night stay for skiing at Gore. Being only 10 minutes from the mountain was the best. It's also great that the cabin has 2 full bathrooms.

The Homestead cabin was wonderful.

We only stayed the weekend and didn't have a lot of interaction with the host but the property was amazing. We totally loved the Homestead Cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. I will recommend this to my friends and family and hope to get back to stay soon. Thanks Dallas S.

Fall getaway

Quaint cabin perfectly laid out for the four of us. Cabin sits back where we felt we were in the woods. Bed very comfortable for us all. Loved the fireplace perfect for the cool nights. Recommend it to anyone and hopefully we will be back next year. The Odell’s

Lovely cabin

We came for the long holiday weekend to ski at Gore and found this charming cabin perfect for our needs. The only downfall is no TV. But it was actually nice to disconnect for a few days. The fireplace was so nice and cozy. Would 1000% come back again. My kids had a blast on the sledding hill. Perfect for our family.

Ideal Adirondack Stay

Pristine cabin in the Adirondacks where the owners took the time to pay attention to detail when remodeling, which was refreshing. Perfect spot to drive to many different lakes. 2 decent restaurants in the area, Basil and Wicks and BarVino. Many amenities included with cabin including firewood (and all things to start it), cornhole game, and many other games and books. Cleanest cabin so far.

Place was clean and cozy. There was no television but that wasn’t necessary a bad thing. Internet could use an upgrade signal was non existent in some areas. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay

Well located, cozy and thoughtful

Gorgeous property, the cabin is clean and well laid out with private bathrooms for each room, perfect for 2 couples or non-family guests. The little shop in the barn is full of amazing surprises, which I regret not taking more time time to look around :( I will for sure next time as I liked the place so much there will definitely be a next time. Marie and Rich we're extremely accommodating and made everything easy. You can tell they care about their guests. Looking forward to our next stay!

Very Nice Stay in Homestead Cabin

My wife and I had very relaxing week. Homestead cabin was very clean. The property is well-kept and in a great location. Marie and Rich are great hosts. There are several good restaurants in the area and Gore Mountain is nearby. Wi-Fi worked great. There is no TV in the cabin, but we did not miss that at all. Evening campfires in the fire pit out front by the cabin were a nice way to end the day.

Peaceful, Quiet, and Clean

We were looking for a quiet place to stay for a few days while coming to the area for a family wedding. We were so pleased to find this place. It was so clean, and homey. And it was nice and quiet at night for sleeping. The owners were very helpful and we were very happy.

Ideal Cottage, Beautiful Property, Close to Gore!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Homestead Cottage for 3 nights with another couple. The cottage is ideal for 2 couples with each bedroom having their own full bath. Cozy and clean with comfortable beds and adequate kitchen supplies to cook. The fireplace was great too and the hosts supplied firewood, newspaper and kindling. There is a guest guidebook which has TONS of great information about the region and things to in the area! There are also games, magazines and playing cards. Note there are no TV’s but we didn’t miss that at all. WiFi worked great. The grounds are beautiful and we especially enjoyed the “store” in the barn on the property. Very peaceful setting, close to Gore and North Creek. As well as Lake George/ (about 30 minutes). Marie was a wonderful host and very responsive. Will definitely book again when we come back to the area!

Cozy cabin for nature forward people

We had an excellent stay at the cabin. It’s perfect for couples and small families looking to be close to skiing in the winter. The location is only about 10 minutes from Gore Mtn which was exactly what we were looking for! Cabin was in great condition- super clean, and had most necessities included. The fireplace was lovely and perfect for having a cozy night in. Wifi was handy when cell service was spotty (at least for us being out of state). It is the perfect place for getting away from technology and spending time with friends, family, and nature. Marie was incredibly responsive and kind. We look forward to booking again the next time we come to Gore!
