Denna vackra, moderna 75 kvm design / artistlägenhet på översta våningen (hiss finns) ligger exakt på gränsen mellan distrikten Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg och Wedding. På sommaren sjunker solen gradvis bakom Berlins tak runt 9:30 p.m. B. Berlins katedral, TV-tornet, Riksdagen, Synagogen eller Sony Center på Potsdamer Platz kan nås med cykel eller kollektivtrafik på några minuter.

2 separata sovrum och ett rymligt, ljust vardagsrum med en stor balkong direkt vid Mauerpark! Bara 2 minuter till Mauerpark eller den vackra Arkonaplatz med många kaféer och restauranger, och den berömda Kastanienallee med coola designerbutiker och butiker ligger bara 5 minuters promenad bort.

Lägenheten är den 5: e Golv i en modern nybyggnad i den tidigare vägglisten - väggen sprang nästan direkt genom fastigheten där huset är idag! Tack vare sina stora panoramafönster är den exceptionellt ljus även på vintern. Det grundligt beredda exponerade betongtaket, den eleganta belysningen och ägarens stora format säkerställer en mysig atmosfär. Möblerna, inklusive den coola "fängelseshallen" av vitt järn, kommer främst från möbeltillverkarna Noodles & Noodles från Prenzlauer Berg, så att säga "från grannskapet" ...
De två sovrummen och även de stora fönstren och glasdörrarna i vardagsrummet kan förmörkas av persienner om det behövs ... viktigt för sena risers ;-)

På 75 kvadratmeter finns sovplatser för 6 personer: två sovrum, alla med dubbelsäng, och en ultrakomfortabel designbar bäddsoffa för 2 personer i vardagsrummet.

Köket är litet, men fullt utrustat för stora matlagningsfester. Den smakfulla atmosfären betonas ytterligare av ägarens många bilder och konstverk. Med den enorma (1,50 m breda!) platt-TV i vardagsrummet kan du göra dig bekväm här på kvällen och titta på molnen passera vid den stora takfönsterfasaden.

Convenient location

We stayed at Robin's place, close to our daughter's apartment. There are nice restaurants nearby and also located right at the Berlin wall. Top floor apartment with elevator (woohoo) and private parking for 20/day.

Berlin in a nutshell

Not a bad place, but found it a little spartan. No soap or toilet paper upon arrival, but host responded promptly to rectify the situation. Close to the U-bahn and Mauer park, and only a couple of stops from Alexanderplatz.

Great location in fun part of Berlin

The apartment is well located close to the Wall Memorial Park and numerous Prinzlauerberg restaurants. We biked and walked to everything during our stay. Nice balcony and easy access to the building. Some small things would help -- instructions on wifi access, the TV didn't work. Overall great place to stay and we would come again.

Musty bedding

Location was fine- near Mauerpark and the Berlin Wall memorial. You can get anywhere in Berlin via public transportation. Also easy walk to Prenzlauer Berg- which is full of great restaurants. Big problem was the bedding and beds. The bedding was extremely musty. To the point that my nose and sinuses were burning every morning from mold spores. We figured why- the washer and dryer were in the basement and, despite there being a dryer, all of the bedding was left out to dry in the dingy basement. We were there 4 nights and sheets that had been hanging the whole time were still damp!. I have no idea why they didn't just use the dryer!. The beds themselves were very thin and sunken. No top sheets on the bed- but thats typical of Germany. No screens on the windows so always a concern for insects. I would not stay here again.

Super Unterkunft

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Wohnung war äußerst sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bot alles, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, das Bett bequem und die Lage einfach unschlagbar – ruhig, aber trotzdem nah an allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen und können sie empfehlen! Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Wochenendbesuch

Abzug gibt es für die Betten und die Sauberkeit. Außerdem hatten wir das Pech, dass die Heizung nicht reibungslos funktionierte und wir an zwei Abenden im Kalten saßen- ich vermute, dass das ein temporäres Problem war.

Ferienwohnung im Prenzlauer Berg

Wir sind leider nicht so happy gewesen. Der Backofen funktionierte nicht, jedenfalls während des Aufenthalts- Offenbar mit Kindersicherung versehen- wurde aber nicht vorher erklärt. Das war echt ärgerlich, Denn weihnachtliches Kochen war so nicht möglich. Die Geschirrspülmaschine funktionierte nur sehr eingeschränkt. Trotz Salznachfüllung und Siebreinigung , durch uns, konnte man sie nicht wirklich nutzen. Mussten also alles per Hand spülen. Es gab dafür allerdings nur ein Küchenhandtuch in der Küche! Für drei Tage und den gesamten Abwasch… Die Badezimmer-Handtücher waren leider nicht wirklich sauber gewaschen. Das Licht im Bad ist so dunkel, dass man den Spiegel nicht nutzen oder irgendwas erkennen kann. In einem der Schlafzimmer roch es durchgehend nach Rauch…! Abgesehen davon, dass die Betten sehr einfach und unkomfortabel sind. Ist doch Schade- für den Preis hätten wir echt mehr erwartet. Lage der Wohnung im Prenzlauer Berg wirklich top und im Vorfeld der Anmietung recht nette Kommunikation mit Vermieter - aber definitiv total überteuerte Vermietung!

In dieser hellen, trotz absolut zentraler Lage sehr ruhigen Wohnung kann sich auch ein Rollstuhlfahrer richtig wohlfühlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefüllt und kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder!

Schöne Wohnung, leider nicht sauber

Die Wohnung ist großartig, aber leider schmutzig. Kommode, Badschrank, Küchenschränke und sogar Kühlschrank waren teils voll mit Dingen (alte Kekse, Bier, etc.) von anderen. Küche, Bad und Matratzen sind wirklich schmutzig, Duschvorhang ganz eklig, Ausstattung reichte teils nicht für vier, Wasserkocher verkalkt, Geschirrspüler und Mülleimer und Besteck und Geschirr verschmutzt etc etc. Tolle Wohnung die irgendwie schlecht gepflegt wird, so scheint es…

Good location beware of request by host to pay extra „tax“ in cash

This was one of the best locations in Berlin, but the cleanliness of the flat and linens were poor. The floors were dirty/dusty and we had to wash all the towels in an attempt to get rid of the musty / mildew smell in a laundromat nearby albeit the €48 linen and €59 cleaning fee. The furniture is pretty rickety too. All in all the designer apartment stay was more like glamping. Also be aware that the host will ask you to leave another „city tax“ in cash or via PayPal at the end of the stay. We were advised by VRBO not to pay unless the request comes through VRBO.

Needs some TLC

This ‘artist loft’ is large, but desperately needs some upgrading, specifically the beds, pillows and the couch. The bed has huge indentations making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The pillows were old and lumpy. The one thing travelers need is a good bed. It has opened meat in the fridge, no hand soap or paper towels and the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Unfortunately not recommended.

Disappointing

We got to the flat expecting to find someone there to let us in. After a long wait in 90+ degree weather, we were finally able to reach the employee who no longer worked at the flat. She was able to give us the number of the main manager who finally responded with a way for us to let ourselves in. The apartment had a room air conditioner without a way to vent it. It had no fans (it should now as we left two there after buying them at the local market.) The refrigerator needs defrosting badly. The balcony was both dirty and the chairs were broken. There was a pull-out couch bed without any bedding. When we left, we asked if we could extend the check-out for an hour as one of us is handicapped and needed time to prepare. We were then asked to check out an hour earlier than the listing noted. The location is good and with some proper maintenance, the flat could be good. It was not for us.

Everything about this home was comfortable. It was such an enjoyable stay because everything I needed was there. Robin was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire time, before and during our stay. The apartment was very clean and smelled nice! The location was just incredible- close to so many great places to experience. Thank you!
