Tucked away in the heart of Island Park, our cozy log cabin offers the ultimate blend of adventure and relaxation. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, enjoy easy year round access to all of our favorite things. In the winter, the groomed snowmobile trail is right out the front door. Enjoy sledding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing or staying inside snuggled up by the fireplace. Summer brings access to endless hiking and ATV trails, floating and fishing the river, or take a short drive to Island Park Reservoir, Henry’s Lake, 35 miles to West Yellowstone or 100 miles from Grand Tetons.

This cabin is a cozy 1700 square feet and offers a comfortable living area, perfect for families, friends, or groups. 2 Master Bedrooms upstairs with private bathrooms, perfect for couples or those seeking ultimate privacy and comfort. There are 2 additional Bedrooms on the main floor with a shared bathroom, offering comfortable and convenient accommodations for all guests. Bathrooms are equipped with essentials including towels, wash clothes, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Blow dryers are also available in each bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, crockpot, tea kettle and coffee maker ( coffee and filters are available for use). Dining table seats 6 with 2 additional chairs stored by the dryer.

Please note that there is no dishwasher available. We kindly request that you wash and put away any dishes or utensils after use. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Family room, kitchen and play area for the kids. Pack and Play crib is available. Great WiFi and 2 smart Tv’s located in the living room and the one upstairs master.

Washer and dryer available for guest use. You can pack light and still have clean clothes during your stay! Our washer and dryer are available for your use, and we've even got some laundry detergent to get you started.

The home is heated by a propane stove in the living room and space heaters in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The best way to cool down in the summer, is to open the windows and let in some fresh mountain air.

This property has ample off-road parking for: Multiple cars, Trailers
ATV's and snowmobiles.

The backyard is available for use and includes a fire pit for some late night s’mores. It's best to plan on bringing your own firewood. There's also a propane BBQ available for use. We ask that you please clean the BBQ after each use to ensure it remains in good condition for future guests.

Winter Getaway

We came to Island Park to Snowmobile. The property was exactly as advertised, property was clean, beds were comfortable & trail was right out the front door. I would highly recommend this property if you are coming to Island Park.

Amazing

This property was absolutely perfect. Manager communication was really good with any question we had. I was so impressed with the entire process. I would highly recommend this property to anybody looking to go over and explore Island Park and West Yellowstone.We ended up losing a vehicle key while out snowmobiling. The owners were so amazing, they actually gave us another night at their home for free to try to help us out with our situation. It’s not very often you see people with kindness in their heart like that. We felt truly blessed. I stay at a lot of rental properties throughout the year and this was by far one of my best experiences.

Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed grilling and relaxing outside in back yard. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Need more places to put clothes in bedrooms. Only hooks on wall were provided.

Great little getaway

This was a great cabin to stay in. Just as the name states it is a cozy cabin. There was enough room for our three teenagers to have their own space but also not feel like we where miles apart. The fire pit in the backyard was very relaxing at night.

Overall we thought the cabin was great! The beds were very comfortable and we loved that each bedroom has a bathroom. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had a fun time and the cabin met our needs very nicely. The negatives: We were disappointed that the weeds were so high around the picnic tables we could not use them. The outside lawn chairs had so much bird poop on them we could not even use them. The bbq is really bad and little metal pieces come off the grates...we used it once and was afraid to use it again. A broken cupboard door over the oven was pretty bad and needs to be screwed in. We opened all the windows for air because it was pretty hot. It was pretty gross with so many dead bugs...the window tracks need to be vacuumed regularly.

Beautiful Home

A perfect vacation rental for my family! Be sure you understand the heart of Island Park is a long way from the city limits. The location is fantastic if you don't mind being off the beaten path. The house itself is lovely with lots of comforts including items like blankets, spices & information on the parks. The upstairs floors are super noisy for those sleeping downstairs if this is a problem for anyone. Floor fans kept everything cool. Also, the yard is left in a wildgrass/flower state so don't expect to walk around outside the yard except to the firepit area.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 6.

The location is great sitting within walking distance of the Snake River and only 35 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. The 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms was the perfect size for my parents, my spouse and I, and our 2 adult sons. We would definitely book again.

Perfect Location

Our family travels to National Parks every year, and this log cabin was the perfect location for us. We traveled to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and were able to see the Elk Refuge. Very clean, full of amenities and quiet. This was a win, win for our whole family!

We were at a family reunion in beautiful Harrison State Park. The house was an easy 6 minute drive, convenient location for fishing license and any thing else might need. Wifi was excellent. Everything was great.

Great cabin for large geiups

We had a group of 8, the 4 bedrooms were absolutely perfect for our group. We used the cabin as a base while we explored Yellowstone for 3 days, it's about 30 minutes away which worked out well for us. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. 5 stars.

Perfect spot in Island Park

We loved our stay at this wonderful cabin. The layout was awesome. I loved that there are two en suites upstairs. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make all our meals there. We would absolutely recommend this cabin to stay at!

It was awesome!! We have stayed in several VRBO houses and this one was the best so far! The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked and the cabin was just the right size for what we needed. Would love to come back and stay in the fall or spring. I was a little worried about being cold, but the heaters kept us toasty. FYI - The snow removal person wanted you to know that he will not do the property because as he was using his machine, it started to spit out wood pieces. He thought we were the owners and told us that.

Amazing stay!

Our family loved this cozy and accommodating cabin! The 2 master suites in the loft were great and all 4 beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas fireplace was relaxing and inviting. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area!

Great find!

We were a group of 6 adults, and all of us were very impressed with this property. This property is everything we had hoped for and more. It had everything we needed including a flat electric griddle to make pancakes, tea kettle, a fully functional grill, extra paper towels, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwashing gloves, grilling tools, extra toiletries (toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, body lotion, hand soap in each bathroom, and even qtips). I know I missed a lot more to mention but out of all the rental properties I have stayed in, this property is by far the best and fully equipped with everything I can think of. The most important part - it was spotless. This cabin was super clean. What you see in the pictures of this property is exactly what you will get plus more. The location is perfect. Close to the creek for creek fishing, Yellowstone Park, restaurants, a store down the road, etc. As an added bonus, we saw a male and female moose right in front of the cabin on our last day. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and the owners are very quick to reply when we had any questions. We will be back to rent this cabin in the future.

Fly fishing vacation week

We are a group of 6 adults that stayed here for our annual fly fishing trip to IP. The location could not be more perfect for our purposes of fishing - super close and convenient to the river AND our favorite local hangout (Trouthunter). The neighborhood is very quiet and seemingly remote, but is only minutes from anything you might need around IP. We even had the pleasure of waking up to a moose passing by eating breakfast right outside the kitchen window one day. So cool! Here is some information that future guests might find helpful when making a decision where to stay PROS -The kitchen is well stocked with basic utensils, pots, pans -The fridge is a good size for 6 adults to keep food/leftovers throughout the week -Plenty of cabinet space/storage for your groceries etc. -stocked with basic seasonings, oils, dried goods on hand for guests to use -kitchen/bathrooms/laundry well stocked with basic toiletries, toilet paper, kitchen and bath towels of various sizes, detergent, cleaning supplies, trash bags, and even paper to-go cups -gas grill works great and it has all the necessary grilling utensils one might need including gas! -The washer and dryer are full sized and quiet while running -the cabin is clean and spacious CONS -no dishwasher, but plenty of cleaning supplies for washing -no closets or dressers in the bedrooms; some of the rooms have hooks on the wall but not all; some of the rooms had a nightstand with drawers that clothes could be stored in but not all bedrooms. For us, staying a week somewhere it is nice to unpack versus out of the suitcase and it was difficult due to lack of cloth storage. We made it work, but just heads up. FYI -coffee maker is a Keurig single cup maker. There are empty pods if you like to use traditional coffee (no grinder so buy ground coffee). There were also several different kinds of coffee pods in the cabinet if needed -There is only one key found in a lockbox outside the front door. For our group we just kept the key in the box and just accessed it that way to avoid losing the key or not having it when needed. It worked perfectly and avoided anyone losing the key as it is $150 to replace it! -the light switches for outdoor lights are located upstairs outside of the bedroom doors and the slanted wood. BOTTOM LINE The owners, Rusty and Janis, are very quick to respond to any questions, open to suggestion and feedback, helpful, and informative. Highly recommend!
