Great location

Loved this place. We could walk everywhere! Great dining, drinks, shopping. Beach was just a short ride away.

New Year’s Stay

Good stay. Great view of fireworks from the balcony. It was great to have a designated and enclosed parking area. Wish the property had better views of the water, but I guess you can’t have everything. The appliances are gas, so there was always a slight smell of gas, but that may be normal. It would also help to have a seat/stool in all of the bedrooms, but the large kitchen table was very nice.

Very nice place, great location

Here for a wedding in October 2023. Our goal was to stay near the Hotel Effie because a large number of the wedding party and attendees were there. This unit is a very easy walk to the Hotel, to restaurants, to the garage, and to the marina (a little longer walk but very manageable). Also very driveable to everything we needed. Beautiful unit, very well appointed, great sitting spaces both indoors and out. The first floor as a gathering place was roomier than I expected from the pictures (when does that ever happen). Plenty of seating, a roomy dining table with places for eight. The kitchen is a little tight but very nice with great appliances. Two people in the kitchen is functional, I'd say three is a crowd. The rooms are very good, the half bath part way up the stairs was welcome for 6 people staying here plus regular visitors. The 3rd floor room is great but lots of steps to get there. They could give better instructions for parking and accessing the unit, from the Sandestin check-in desk. The information provided to three separate parties when checking in at different times, was very irregular. For example, we were the last couple to check in at the desk, and they didn't give us the code for the locked gate to get into the Le Jardin complex where this unit is located. However, communication with the Sandestin via text during the stay was helpful and they were very responsive.

Thanksgiving at Baytowne

This was a beautiful property in a great location. The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was attractive and functional. We were there for Thanksgiving and it was a little difficult to cook and eat lunch without enough forks and pot holders. There were only two forks and no pot holders. Also be sure that whoever will be sleeping in the master bedroom is physically fit because there are over forty steps to the third floor. I rated it four stars, but I really think the manager of this property should make sure there are adequate utensils etc.
