Bear Moon Rising cordially welcomes you to our modern haven, nestled in the heart of the spectacular Great Smoky Mountains cabin resort. This serene getaway is a creation of Moonrise Vacation Properties, LLC, where we perfectly blend thrilling adventures with peaceful relaxation. Our wide range of amenities includes an indoor pool available all year round, two rejuvenating hot tubs, and a fun-filled game room equipped with arcade games and an impressive 8-foot pool table. Moreover, a communal pool is open for guests during the summer months.

For film buffs, our plush theater room will not disappoint. It's kitted out with cozy reclining sofas, soft blankets, cushions, an expansive 8-foot screen, and surround sound, ensuring a genuine movie experience. Each of our five king-sized bedrooms features an attached bathroom, with one room boasting a queen-over-queen bunk bed. The loft houses a twin daybed with a trundle, complemented by two queen sofa beds. All TVs are equipped with Spectrum cable and several streaming platforms for your viewing pleasure.

Savor the refreshing mountain air as you sip a drink on one of our three spacious decks. The main deck, complete with a TV and a fireplace (operational from November to March), offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Make use of the natural gas grill for a delicious cookout and enjoy your meal outdoors on the picnic bench.

Our cabin's kitchen comes fully stocked with all necessary appliances, including a Keurig and drip coffee maker, an air fryer, two large refrigerators with ice makers, and two dishwashers for easy cleanup. At Bear Moon Rising, our goal is to exceed your expectations and provide an unforgettable experience, making us your perfect vacation spot amidst the awe-inspiring landscape of the Great Smoky Mountains cabins.

Please note that we do not provide baby gates and do not allow them to be pressure-mounted due to damage to tongue and groove.

Came back for a 2nd stay

Stayed last year and loved it. So we came again. You can't find a more accommodating host, spacious and clean cabin close to downtown Gatlinburg. You won't be disappointed if you book it.

Great Vacation Cabin

This cabin is an amazing place to stay for a large family group. We had all ages at the cabin and each family had their own separate space. The eating area and kitchen was large and well supplied to eat family meals. Both the indoor pool and access to the Resort pool gave the kids plenty of opportunity to enjoy swimming, and who can top having two hot tubs? I would highly recommend this place!! The owners were excellent in communicating with.us.

Family fun for everyone

The property was very clean. Beds were comfortable, the two dishwasher and refrigerator was great. The black bear came into backyard with 3 cubs. Was amazing watching them playing.

Amazing!!!

This cabin was wonderful I would give more than 5 stars if I was able!!! Pictures are true to the listing it is that beautiful and spacious. Pools and hot tubs were warm and amazing!!! Rooms were spacious giant comfy beds, kitchen great to cook in. And it was super Convenient to all attractions. Will definitely come back!!!

Cabin was great!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin! Definitely would love to make it back to stay again! The location is great and the kids loved the games and pool! Very clean and comfortable. Pool was a little smaller than expected but we still really enjoyed it. Also had a few issues with the door locks but one was our fault and property manager was easy to get a hold of and helped us quickly.

Gatlinburg Getaway: Memorable Smoky Mountain Hiking adventure while staying at this gorgeous cabin.

Our stay at this gorgeous cabin was everything I expected and more. We loved the location as it was close to hiking trails and to Gatlinburg. The attention to detail in the cabin's design and decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring our comfort and convenience throughout the stay. The memories we made here will be cherished forever. We hope to come back soon!

Family Reunion for our Gigi

Our stay was amazing. The host thought of everything that we would need for a get together. From the games, pool, theater room, and even the pool table. From toddlers to teenagers and adults we had an amazing time. We definitely plan on coming back in next year. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful home

The house is amazing, the location is perfect, and the homeowners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. I just wish we’d received the property manual sooner since we’d already purchased and packed a lot of unneeded items before learning what would be provided at the house.

AMAZING

cabin was immaculate. Rooms were huge. Did have issues with fire alarm one night and a flying sayin the house, but other than that it was a great family vacation. Kids loved it. All the games and pool. Can’t wait to book again

Family get-together

It was perfect! There were 15 of us, 2 to 74. There was plenty of space to get together, but plenty of space to get away, also. Kids of all ages loved the lower level, the readers had great space on the decks and porches. TV's in every room, which none of us used, as there was so much much else to do...including relax!

Wonderful place

My family and I are happy that we chose this place for our vacation. The location is perfect and easily accessible. The cabin has everything, the time we spend in it we never get bored. Between the pool, the two jacuzzis, the games room and the cinema, there was no time for boredom. The place is new, well decorated and very spacious, which makes it very comfortable. It has many bathrooms and many details. the hosts were always quick to reply if I had any questions. The price was also good. In short, it is a place that we will recommend to our family in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to host us.

We were a group of 20 and loved our stay here in the smokey mountains. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Hot tub was great. You have it all here - game room, pool table, air hockey, grill, arcade games, movie theater and spacious area in the living room for the group to relax.

The cabin is everything we expected and more. There was 13 of us ranging in ages from 4-67 and there was something for everyone. Any issue we had was resolved very quickly. On our last morning we seen a momma bear and 3 cubs. Perfect way to end our great vacation. We will definitely stay here again.

I don’t believe the listing does this cabin & the owners justice. It was amazing & so clean. The owners have gone above and beyond providing extras for our use. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place for a large group. We also had a visiting bear the first day as soon as we arrived. I think he was welcoming us!

Perfect

After reviewing several cabins in Gatlinburg, I chose this cabin. It had everything I was looking for, for a family of 11 with all age groups. The cabin was at the end of the road so plenty of privacy, the game room supplied plenty of evening fun for the entire family. It was well stocked with supplies and there was plenty of room in the cabin, so we were not on top of each other. The hosts responded quickly if we had any questions. Also, the cabin was not far from any place we wanted to go. I would highly recommend this cabin for your next adventure.
